Poor response time to broken down boiler which left us without heating and hot water for a couple of days and problem was a known fault which no pre-emptive action has been taken

No problems with the boiler. I am a landlord and need to have confidence in the boiler fitted to my property.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I am a contractor currently on hold for over an hour. The last time I called the operator was an absolute ass. This company should be ashamed of their customer service, especially regarding contractors they do regular business with. It’s embarrassing honestly.

The boiler is far too complicated, the wireless doesn't work well, the central heating takes too long to heat up , my 12 year old Vaillant gave better heat and far quicker . Really annoyed that I changed over .

Had a new boiler fitted a few months ago. Works great and never had to increase boiler temp above 60 degrees.

I understood these were the boilers to go for, so we had our Worcester Boach 24 cdi replaced with a Viessman 050 30kw, the model recommended as a suitable size replacement. The installation went very smoothly but a few weeks later, hot water failed. A Viessman engineer visited and said it was a very small blockage in the impeller of a valve within the boiler, so replaced the valve with a filter to help prevent the same happening again. He was surprised a piece of grit (or whatever it was) so small would cause the problem but there you go. We can hear the pump working when the boiler is on so I asked him why the boiler is noisier than the 20+ year old Worcester it replaced, particularly as it is advertised as quiet. He said it has a higher output than the Worcester, so is bound to be noisier and that he did not consider it noisier than it should be. His comment made me feel like I cannot book an engineer to look at it without being charged, as he already dismissed it as not a problem. Additionally, occasionally the hot water just does not come on. we have to turn the tap off for a short while and try again. An intermittent problem like that is very hard to prove and you can bet it would work ok an engineer called, so we would have to pay. I read loads about boilers before having ours replaced. Viessmann seemed the best but I'm disappointed. I wish we had picked a Worcester instead.

The boiler is very noisy in operation and allowing for percentage increase in gas prices certainly no savings against the running cost of the previous, 20 year old, boiler Overall very disappointed

Hi If your Viessmann boiler has been sized and set up correctly for your property this should be reflected in your energy bills. Ensuring the right controls are fitted, weather compensation for example, will also ensure that your heating system works at maximum efficiency. Please check our website for advice on how to ensure your system is running efficiently: https://www.viessmann.co.uk/en/heating-advice.html Kind regards Viessmann
Slow, weak and a damn struggle to get good water supply, takes a least fracking 5 minute to get decent warm and hot water. The hotter the temperature, the lower the water pressure. It's like BEGGING FOR WARM WATER. ABSOLUTELY USELESS

The guys did not have a clue.. First, the boiler didn't work then they mucked up the electrics .. It took over 8 weeks to get the system up and running and still there is a red light on the boiler today ???? We were without heating in Winter for over 3 weeks

Awful company, booked in for fixed price service & repair on a Vitodens 200-W, £360+VAT upfront, had no hot water and a leak on condensate pipe, Veissmann Engineer turned up & straight away said he's not fixing the leak, at no point when booking in did they say they will not fix the leak otherwise I would of gone elsewhere, he got the hot water back on by carrying out a service and left leaving the boiler pipework still dripping. Anyway when we called up to complain, they basically said there happy to still charge the £360+VAT because they got the hot water back on and because we paid upfront when booking, there not interested in refunding us anything because there happy with the service they provided, even though they only fixed half the problem. They even terminated the phone call because they didn't like listening to a complaint about there service. Now I've got to pay another company to come out and finish the repair, they have also not provided an invoice and not sent me the service certificate.

No problem getting the Viessman installed but try to get someone when you need a repair. NO ONE will call back, NO ONE from VIESSMAN responded to my emails. Furnace works fine when it is 40 degrees out, but once it gets below freezing it is useless. Have the thermostat, which is new, cranked up to 85 and it is just barely registering 60 in the house. I would NOT recommend this product only because you cannot get anyone to work on it once it is installed.

My combi boiler was fitted at the end of December 2020. It failed on 21st Jan 2022. Viessman arranged for an engineer to solve the problem the following Tues. He was temporarily successful, but after 3 or 4 hours it failed again. After long waits on the telephone I spoke to an operative who sent me an email stating that an engineer would ring me between 8 00 and 10 00 am Friday. It didn't happen. I have spent the day emailing and phoning and listening to promises that they would ring back. That hasn't happened either. Now I am again stuck on the telephone waiting for someone to answer. I am horrified that a supposedly reputable firm treats its customers with such contempt. I may add that I am almost 80 years old and feel the cold badly. Desperately bad service. You should be ashamed.

Shame on you Viessaman. I have a Viessaman boiler and I am still paying for it. I have had constant issues with it, leaking boiling water, leaking boiling rusty water etc, unfortunately I have voided the guarantee due to covid restrictions I have not been able to have the boiler serviced. When I rang gas safe engineers in my area, no one would touch it! My boiler gave up the ghost last week, the customer service team were able to use their psychic powers to diagnose the problem over the phone. I am on the heart transplant list, with rapidly failing heart and organs, the customer service call handler spoke to me in a condescending manner when I explained my predicament, so I'm now left with no heating or water in the middle of January. Their stance and attitude towards a terminally ill person is moraly reprehensible.

after almost a week of Vi Care failure, Viessmann sent a message without anytime commitment about fixing the issue- This is not a customer service at all. Shame on you Viessmann !

Very poor technical support - tried to blame everyone except themselves. Rude and argumentative on the phone- would not recommend

Dear Alistair Please send any feedback you have regarding your experience with the Technical team to enquiries-uk@viessmann.com so we can investigate. Many thanks Viessmann
The boiler provides a very good heating service but a very poor hot water service. I am sure that my water bill will be higher than my gas bill!

Dear John We would not expect you to be having hot water supply issues with your new Viessmann boiler. Please contact your installer to rectify these issues or book a warranty call out to diagnose the issue by contacting Aftersales: 01952 675060 aftersales-uk@viessmann.com Kind regards Viessmann
100W installed Jan 2015. Jan 2016 Motherboard failed. As you have few engineers in certain parts of the country it took a while for one to attend from quite a distance. Said there was nothing wrong as it did restart. Boiler failed again within 2 weeks. My usual engineer ascertained it was the Motherboard and told company . We had to insist it was the problem and it was replaced. Your 'local' engineer was useless and fitted work around his customers needs. Appalling service from the engineer and getting through to the company was dreadful. Problem took took over a week to resolve in very cold weather. The same problem has happened again - Feb 11th 2021. Indoor temp 10C! Better contact to the help line this time. Company technicians are good and assisted my engineer - electrodes was the initial thought. Replaced them. Still no boiler functioning- conclusion Motherboard again. Expense fault. Fortunately my engineer sorted it with your technicians in a day with the help of local plumbing suppliers stocking your parts! Warmth at last. How long for?

Sorry to hear you have experienced these issues with your boiler. If you could provide your contact details including your postcode we can look into this for you and see what we can do to help. Please email details to enquiries-uk@viessmann.com Kind regards Viessmann
Boiler stopped working one day after installation. There was subsequently poor co-ordination between installation company and Viessmann, with each blaming each other. Two Viessman engineers inspected boiler, identified fault and provided replacement part but refused to install or fix. I was left without working boiler for nearly a week after installation. Issues like this should be handled behind closed doors - customers should not have to mediate between companies.

Dear Graham Our records show that we attended the property in June to fix a wiring issue. If you have any further feedback regarding the situation described please send it to enquiries-uk@viessmann.com so it can be looked into. Many thanks Viessmann
