Shocking service. Absolute shambles. Took out a policy online. Constant phone calls from different personnel wanting to validate details despite having already spoken to them. Decided to cancel policy and even though it hadn't actually started and was within the 14 day cooling off period, they wanted to charge me! Representative I spoke to to cancel was fractious and inflexible. Avoid!!

Telephone operators don't record facts correctly in order to give you a cheaper quotation, once they take payment they change what the customer has said and what they have promised and then make extra charges for their inadequacy, and if you refuse to pay they threaten to CANCEL YOUR POLICY if you DON'T PAY THE EXTRA CHARGE. Very disappointed will not renew with Van Line Direct and WILL NOT RECOMMEND

The Hand doesn't know what the elbow is doing, consistently given incorrect information then blamed for their errors. Asking for payment and told to email NCB when policy already cancelled at their end. Abrupt and unsympathetic call center, however they call constantly but noone knows who called and specifically why, VERY ANNOYING EXPERIENCE

I tried to cancel and there was a charge iv only had the insurance 2 days , I then tried to remove a driver there was a charge , I then truer to put my volentry excess because vandirect chose to remove it on the phone and there was a charge , so I’m very upset at the moment

Poor customer service , tried 5 times After replying to a urgent email, about details needing amended . not one of them wanted to speak to me , fobbed me of each time . Very unhappy

I’ve never had so much trouble and grief getting van insurance. Avoid at all costs if you want to keep your stress levels down.

Absolutely pulling my hair out with this company. Quote was not what it seemed, forever getting put on hold and through to various departments to still not have the matter resolved go with this company at your peril

Kept me waiting on the phone for 20 MINS!!!! while we went through the policy to " validate " it.....doesn't matter that I had already filled it in on Compare the market earlier??? oh no.....then asked for 7 quid because I was ONE day late validating my details...arrrgghhh!!!! Then asked for my ncb document 3 times!!!!! AVOID this company.
