“Arrived for breakfast on 31st december. The server was miserable and the food was cold. Tried to charge me at the till for extra items i didnt have. Wont bother again”

“Can't believe still serving food and drink on paper plates and in paper cups. Excuse "No dishwasher facilities available" - been the same for weeks. Also, no in store tray bakes (which used to be the best). No wonder people going to the cafe appears to be significantly down from pre Covid - almost empty every time we visit. Won't be visiting again until we hear about improvements - such a shame as our favourite day time venue previously.”

“Normally a very christmassy feel with lots of decorations, but not so this year. I appreciate the pandemic may be an influence but all the more reason to try and give a more festive ambiance. Went for breakfast in cafe which came on a small plastic plate with plastic utensils, and no toast. I went to the Barn for breakfast a few days before and had normal crockery, normal sized breakfast and toast. Considering van Hague is deemed a more upmarket garden centre.... I would recommend a trip 2 miles up the road for a barn breakfast.”

“Beautiful place has everything you need for garden, such a big place off Eye roundabout with lots of parking. Inside is wonderful with everything on display, at the rear is the garden with lots of water features, we bought a pump for the pond, lovely figures of animals and big gorillas that would make any garden look fab.”
