I complained to Victoria the manager at Vale holidays. About my 2 daughters being really sick after eating chicken at ocean heights. To basically say the food is fine and my kids got it elsewhere!! To here that from a manager with 0 sympathy to how you 2 young girls are feeling is horrendous!! It's the only thing they both ate the same and funny enough both throwing up 6/7 hours later!! Bin nearly 4 days and they both still aren't themselves still complaining about stomach pains!! I'm furious that they can be so easily brushed away like I was a liar or something!! We was the only people in that restaurant and the chicken came out within about 15 minutes!!!! Be careful if you eat at ocean heights leisure park!!!! And I hope you don't have to contact Victoria because she is so rude!!!!

Liskey hill caravan park Cornwall- holiday booked for 15th July for one week in a new platinum caravan. Van was OK,but it was sited within 25 feet of the site bbq, lots of noise from people, shouting, alcohol fueled, this went one till 11.30pm and only stopped because I rang the vale holidays out of hrs number and complained we could not sleep because of the racket going on. The noise problem went on night after night breaking the site rules of stopping at 10pm. Add to this our vans closeness to the main road which ran alongside the site, the traffic noise was unbearable, it went on throughout the night, its not stated there is a noisey road next to the site on the website. Then there is the dogs on the site, which vale holidays encourage, barking at all sorts of hours added to our miserly. The site vale holidays show a sea view in their ads, don't be fooled it ain't there anymore, blocks of flats have been built that block the sea views now. Some reviews suggest the liskey hill site is QUIET,defo NOT the caravans are crammed in so there is very little between the caravans a d the site can be very noisey, example, quad bike and trailer was parked under our vans bedroom window and the engine left running for ages, almost 45 min, come on vale holidays your site is not fit for purpose as a holiday park claiming it to be peaceful and quiet. We paid £739 for the week, but we left after 3 days fed up with this noisey caravan holiday park.

Was informed by a very good source that a lady who has been recently widowed had decided to sell her static caravan in New Park, Landshipping. She was offered £500 or told to pay £600 to take it away!! She was also informed by the lovely receptionist based there that she owed 44p for the electricity used!!🤬😡🤬

We’ve had a years experience at Grondre Tourer site and was going ok , The last month went downhill for us as not been able to stay and a lot has happened as we’ve now found out with not very good communication from the park reception and upon our return we find that our lights outside our caravan have been taken, all you had to do was ask us if you were that desperate for lights rather than run away , quite sad if you ask me. A lot of angry and sad people who have been there ten or twenty years .

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful week away and we found it at Gilfach. Incredible views, the position of the chalets is perfect, imagine opening the curtains in a morning and seeing the sea just in front of you and the hills to the right. Sat outside on the picnic table provided and just chilled. The chalet was fully equipped for our needs, all in all a lovely time walking the Ceredigon Coastal Path, visiting Aberaeron and Newquay. Will be back. Thank you Gilfach, staff were amazing always cheerful and helpful. Keep doing what you are doing, its all great.

Weeks stay at Grondre. Worst park I've ever been to. Booked this site as it was advertised as quiet and remote. Arrived on a Saturday after a tiring journey and could not get to sleep until after 11.30pm due to loud music, not sure where from, the Friday we left we were kept awake by children shouting and screaming till nearly midnight. The caravan was full of flies for which I had to buy fly spray which killed most of them after for days. The caravan was by the main road to the pool/pub and below road level, there were no blinds or net curtains on the windows so doesn't the week being gawked at by everyone who went past. There was a used towel hanging over the fence outside all week and a rusty children's scooter and bike dumped outside which various children used when they felt like. Very poor vibe to the whole place and would never go back.

Grondre in narbeth what a disappointment! First season touring and was told there's entertainment, pool, etc......there was no entertainment all summer due to covid, pool slots you had to book at reception on the morning you wanted to swim, all slots gone by 9am and only 20mins allowed anyway in your pool slot. Park is abysmal and the language on kids and adults at the site is disgusting, I won't be returning!!!!!

Lovely place and fab for the children. The toilets and showers up the top field are stinking. The same moth was on the wall in the shower cubicle for 6 nights and The flies on the walls. Having run a cleaning company for 13 years and cleaned several holiday homes, apartments and camping showers/ toilets, these are not up to the correct cleaning standards.

Stayed at Grondre for 5 days, reception staff were friendly and helpful, the caravan was clean and well equipped, the park itself is well maintained. The language used in the park and amusement arcade was atrocious which was a shame, we ate once in the clubhouse, the food was good and reasonable but the clubhouse is pretty dismal, there is a small covered seating area just outside where there were many people smoking. The staff we met were friendly. We will not be returning.

After paying over a £1000 for a one week stay at Ocean Heights we where very disappointed at the poor quality of the caravan. Yes it was a bronze pet standard but the poor quality seating area and overall age of the caravan does not justify the price paid. The seats are so uncomfortable they may as well be wooden benches, in the end we checked out a day early as evenings sat in the van where quite honestly torture. I do think this particular van is way past its best and really lets down the park which i have to say is a very nice .

Caravans basic & old fashioned. No entertainment at all or even bingo or a disco. Very disappointed especially at the price of £930 we paid for a week. We requested that the two caravans i booked were close by but they r different ends of the park. No shop on the site but there is a co op 3 mins away. We definitely won't be returning, as there's nothing to do without driving

We have just came back from woodland vale holiday park the staff on arrival were very nice and helpful but when I got to our caravan the beds weren't made as I asked as ive have disability and I really bad back so I struggled to make them, went to the bar for our evening meal and the staff weren't nice and snappy when asked if we could sit in as we weren't sure with the covid and wasn't sure with myself being in a wheelchair. There wasn't much choice with food and would recommend booking restaurant before you go as everyone near by was fully booked up. The caravan was clean with cobwebs on the lights but all in all we had a good holiday just a bit let down with the park yes I should have said something to the staff but am recovering from a very bad illness.

Stayed at gilfach. When we arrived. We were told there was no pressure in the shower. From time to time.(all the time) 2 off the 3 lights in the bathroom were not working. Would it be ok for an electrician to come and have a look if we weren’t in. We said yes no problem. Never turned up. After 2 days other one stopped working. Showered by phone light for 2days. On leaving reported the issue. No apology. Also informed them decking lighting not working. Oh that doesn’t work we have disconnected it due to it tripping the chalet when turned on. Don’t advertise if it doesn’t work. Overpriced
