“An initial online quote was quickly followed by a site visit by a very friendly and informative site surveyor. The work was scheduled a few weeks after payment of the deposit and the work was carried out very efficiently by the geopolymer injection team in just a few hours using laser measurement tools to detect when the wall had lifted following the stabilisation of the foundations. The site was left as clean as it was found . Within a week of the payment of the balance outstanding I received the Insurance backed guarantee, 10 year guarantee and CSA certificate”

“We had an alarming crack in our London Edwardian house internal brick wall which developed suddenly for no obvious reason (though we suspected a nearby over-zealous demolition job). The structural engineer who inspected it thought it had to be something local under the wall as there were no other signs of cracking in the house, and recommended underpinning...if only there was a way of just pushing the wall up again, he said. Well, then we found Uretek (now Geobar) and saw the seemingly miraculous video of the crack closing up on their website. We researched them and asked around - to cut a long storey short, from initial visit by the rep to the actual (day long only) job on site we got excellent service and even watched our crack closing up. The only prep we had to do was to take up the floorboards on one side of the wall they were treating. We are delighted and very relieved not to have had to go through the hassle of concrete underpinning (which, as it turns out, may not have worked as the 'soft' patch of clay was well below the level that the underpin would have gone).”

“I was very pleased with the results of the foam injection procedure, Ged who did the initial inspection was very helpful and friendly and the guys who did the work were great, my house is very difficult to access but the guys found a solution, they kept me informed throughout the day as to what was taking place, they were all very friendly and cleaned up as they went, in fact when they left there was very little evidence that they had ever been here, my house was actually lifted by the procedure and many of the cracks closed up considerably, bedroom doors now shut properly and a window that had a gap in the frame is now gap free! “We've lived here since 1975 and our brick extension has gradually been moving away from the house. The crack had reached the stage where I could no longer ignore it. No local builder was interested. Uretek came up on the internet while I was searching further afield. Though sceptical, I contacted them and I've been very pleased. The extension was surveyed and I got a fixed-price quote without any sales pressure whatsoever. I knew a small inspection hole would have to be cut in the floorboards but I had a panic when I found I would have to arrange that myself because I was unsure of the requirements, but I need not have worried. All the people who did the work, including the sub-contractors who surveyed the drains and repaired the damaged one - which seems to have been the source of the problem - were first-class in every way. Although I understood they could only stabilise the ground, they actually lifted the extension, significantly closing the crack. I also expected the paving to need complete re-laying but the disturbance was kept to a minimum. Other reviewers have suggested that this method is expensive, but since no builder has ever given me a price, I have nothing for a comparison. At one point before I contacted Uretek, I remarked that I would give a certain some to anybody who could just wave a magic wand and they did the next best thing, with the price being almost exactly that sum, including the VAT. Only time will tell, but I'm a very satisfied customer.”
