About Ulster Weavers Home Fashions:

Ulster Weavers has been trading for over 115 years in linen and textiles. During the 1960’s the Ulster Weaving company brought these years of textile expertise to the kitchen textile sector creating in-house and licenced designs - specializing at first in linen tea towels and over the years expanding the range to include all types of kitchen co-ordinates, bags and giftware.
As evidence to our commitment to quality, Ulster Weavers Ltd. has held the royal warrant as suppliers of kitchen textiles to Queen Elizabeth II since 1995.Until March 2009 Ulster Weavers worked solely with trade customers (over 6000 trade customers worldwide), but with high demand from the public, chose to move online to the reach the consumer direct as well as trade.

“After having to pay very high delivery costs for shipping an apron to France I had the unpleasant surprise of having to pay even more than the cost of the item ordered to UPS in order to cover customs duties and 'fees'! When I contacted Ulster Weavers they simply pointed out that I should have read all the fine print in the shipping section! I have been a loyal customer of this company for years, but I find this attitude very cavalier and will certainly not be ordering from them again!”

“I had an £80 order in my cart and then found out it didn't qualify for free delivery because I am in Northern Ireland. Ulster Weavers charge extra postage to actual Ulster. Didn't buy it.”

“I purchased two beautiful scatter cushions but they arrived with a dreadful mouldy, mildewy smell. I've spent days trying to get the smell out. What most disappoints me though is the lack of communication from Ulster Weavers. I've received no acknowledgement to my email/webchat query. I thought I was ordering from a small business and would have loved to purchase more items, but I'm beyond disappointed.”

“I ordered tea towels which were advertised as 4 for 3. They sent me only 3. When I them they refused to send me the extra tea towel saying I hadn’t specified which tea towel I wanted as my free one. I wrote back and told them but they will not send it to me. I consider this fraudulent. I wonder if it is a policy of the company to cheat people? Won’t use them again and advise you not to either”

“My order from Ulster Weavers got lost by Royal Mail. After complaining to Ulster Weavers they were very sympathetic, apologised and sent another full replacement of the goods I had ordered, free of charge. Full praise to Lauren and the company for acting so promptly and generously - thank you. All goods I ordered are of fantastic quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice tea-towels, perfect gift on many occasions. Parcel arrived on perfect time. Excellent customer service: I asked for some Ulster Weavers tags and they sent them to me together with some lovely blue gift paper. Very professional, and also very friendly.”
