They sell faulty products, they knowingly break consumer rights laws, and they have stolen my money. Avoid at all costs! Ordered a hoverboard and cart in October 2022 as a Christmas present for my 8 year old daughter. Purchased as the website boasts that the speed can be adjusted. Part of the order arrived in mid-November and the rest arrived in December, just in time for Christmas. Christmas day came and we discovered the speed CAN NOT be adjusted, and it operates at maximum speed all the time. Of course, this led to several crashes and a very frightened and disappointed little girl. Contacted this company via email on December 26th to express my concerns, exercise my consumer right to reject the goods within 30 of having took ownership of them and get a refund. Despite my request, this company demanded images and videos and delayed the refund process. Finally, they arranged to collect the items in March 2023. After they received the hoverboard and cart again, I had to wait a couple of weeks for this company to "log the return into the correct system" and then more time for them to "assess the item". I waited patiently and later received an email to state that I wasn't entitled to a refund because the product had been used and was not in new condition. What did they expect, I mean, they were told in my initial email that the product was not functioning in the described way and it had led to several crashes. I've discussed this matter with my solicitor and the Trading Standards Agency. I've been informed that UK Segboards' T&Cs do not take precedence over the Consumer Protection Act and they have a legal duty to abide by the law. I have reached out to this company 51 times by phone and emailed many, many times, trying to get this matter resolved amicably. I have now served the director of this company with a final written notice that the next step is court action. Should I not receive a refund in the next few days, I will be opening a court claim against him. By the way, the contact details listed on their website are incorrect, they have seemingly moved and no longer conduct business there. It seems to me, having read through the many reviews on here and elsewhere that this company sells a substantial amount of faulty goods and will do everything they can not to refund customers. As things stand, they have the returned goods in their possession and they still have my money so they have essentially stolen from me. They have violated my consumer rights and stolen my money but rest assured, the company director cannot run forever. By hook or by crook, he will return my money and should the matter proceed to court in the coming weeks, I'll be claiming a large amount of additional money for calls, emails, postage and printing of necessary letters/documents, stress, and I'll be charging an hourly rate for all the time spent having to go through this process for the past 4 months. They may be reluctant to abide by the Consumer Protection Act but they are not outside the law! My advice to anyone reading these reviews is to think twice before conducting business with these horrible people. Once they have your money, they will do everything they can to keep it. They don't answer their phones most times, they seldom respond to emails, they move address without giving any notice, and they have a blatant disregard for the law. Avoid at all costs. Save yourself the same hassle I, and many, many others have had to experience.

Disgusting company. Disgusting company. Absolute waste of time Ordered a Segway and go kart attachment for my sons birthday. Segway arrived.. pretty standard Segway… not the extra robust model it was made out to be on their website. The go kart attachment didn’t not arrived. I had no correspondence to let me know this was not arriving. Waited a few days…. no go kart. Tried to call… wasted a lot of time on hold… every time my call was terminated at the other end. I emailed… no response. My sons birthday passed with no go kart. I then wasted another 25 mins on hold to the uk Segboards … finally got to speak to somebody. The call handler (Chris) then read me a lovely pre-rehearsed script about how the manufacturer had let them down and their poor head of sales had to fly to China too rectify error. The long story went on and on wasting more of my time! Ending in….. they didn’t have any go karts… I would have to wait another week before the new ones arrived…. No offer of refund or idea as to when after the 7 days I might get my go kart. Call handler then put me on hold for an unnecessary amount of time when I asked to speak to a manager… wasting even more of my day and infuriating me further… not great customer handling skills. To be told no manager is available and that my son could just use just the Segway so why doesn’t he do that…. Shock! I am now at the mercy of maybe receiving the product at some point in the future when company decided or not. Terrible company… average product. Why are they taking orders for products they cannot supply.

Absolute crooks! See the hundreds of one star reviews on here and other review sites then compare with the rubbish they put on their Twitter feed. Don't go anywhere near any of Mr Naveeds companies THEY NEED CLOSING DOWN AND FAST

Do not trust this company with your money. They failed to deliver my sons Christmas present from Santa after ordering it in October (ruining his Christmas morning) and I’m still chasing to have the money returned at the end of February. They have told me tens of times that they are processing the refund and it’ll be with me by the end of the week- absolute rubbish and joke of a company.

Please do not buy from this company, they are crooks. You will not receive a working hoverboard and you will not receive a refund. You have been warned.

Absolute scammers of a company who need to be avoided at all costs! Empty promises, incorrect products, European chargers, no response to complaints and absolute liars! AVOID AVOID! Hopefully this poor excuse for a company will be closed down soon so no one else has to suffer their incompetencies

I ordered my sons hoover board 7th December 2022 & promised deliver by 15th December for his birthday, did not arrive! I have been fobbed off with excuse after excuse!!! I managed to speak to them yesterday 23rd December & I was promised it would be here on 24th December, but still no delivery!!! I have checked with courier service and they have no orders waiting to be delivered. I am so annoyed!!! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Do not buy from this company! They are liars who just take your money!

I ordered my sons Christmas present ( the only thing he asked for!) on the 7th October and its now the 23rd December and it's still not arrived!!! Thankyou for destroying my sons christmas! Absolutely shocking service!!!!

Scammers - i placed an order on 9th November only to receive a text a month later saying there was a stock issue and to change my item and I did. The two frames and seats have arrived In 2 boxes. I am left without ANY HOVERBOARDS and whomever is texting me claims it has been delivered and signed for. There should be more than 2 boxes if it took 2 boxes for each seat frame. On the website it claims there should be photographic proof of delivery from dpd and I'd like to see that because its not delivered. There is nobody answering the phone lines for your website or Facebook. I've texted this number 07520616466 that has been talking to me about my order and told them they need to find out where my hoverboards is or I will need to bring this to my solicitor. I ordered well in advance knowing I would be working all over Christmas and now i haven't got a chance to get my kids something else. How can you treat people like this and feel OK? I spent £635 for 2 hoverboards and 2 ride on frames and can't afford much else.

Ordered mid October, fobbed off via emails constantly moving the delivery date back and now only the seat/frame has turned up but no hoverboard!! Terrible service!

SCAM!!!! I ordered a hoverboard and kart for my 7 year olds birthday on the 3rd of October and it was supposed to be delivered w/c the 17th of October. The date came and went. I sent multiple emails and made multiple calls and was fobbed off with new delivery dates. Over a month later when I asked for a refund the company ignored me and tried to send just the kart with no hoverboard. I refused the delivery and the company have ignored every email I have sent since. I am in the process of recovering the money through my bank. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid at all cost. Terrible reliability and took a year to get our money back as they refused to refund despite them having the seaboard back for repair 3 times. Luckily we had credit card protection. They wouldn't even exchange for a new one. Terrible company hopefully they won't be around much longer.

I purchased the segboard and buggy in July in anticipation of my daughter’s 8th birthday at the beginning of September. The items got stuck on a ship in Europe and delivery was delayed until 16th August. We charged the item ready for her birthday only to find that the item was faulty and unusable. I immediately contacted UK Segboards to advise them and to let them know that I wished to claim a refund once they were in receipt of the items. They sent me postal labels for DPD to collect the items from a local shop. We had a nightmare getting DPD to collect them, but that’s another story. Eventually the items arrive back at UK Segboards on 31st September. I emailed them and asked them to let me know when the refund was processed. On 6th October I received a response asking if I wished for them to send a brand new replacement that week rather than refunding. I politely refused- it had taken so long to get it in the first place and then a fortnight to get it back to them - I just wanted a refund to get my daughter a replacement from a shop I could walk into. No response from UK Segboards until 12th October when apparently the items had miraculously developed “cosmetic damage” and were therefore ineligible for a refund. Completely untrue- I had videos of the fault and photographs of the cosmetically perfect items prior to return. I lodged a PayPal claim, which I won and finally received the refund on 20th October. Be careful, this company DO NOT want to issue refunds for faulty products as is their legal obligation. I went sick when I discovered the fault and there was no mention of a refund under the faulty items section so knew I had a battle on my hands. Steer clear of UK Segboards.

Please please avoid Ive had a faulty board from the offset the company tried their best to fob me off . Item returned 3 times at my expense problem still persisted . Upon return they failed to send cart back gave me a charger who had someone elses personal details on which is in breach of data protection. They deliberately scored out serial no. On the board. Item still not repaired one year later causing great distress to my autistic son . I rang 84 times and sent 58 emails to get the issue resolved . I have contacted an independent technician to get the board fixed he seems to think they are using second hand products in the boards and doesnt rate the morals or ethics very highly he was shocked at their un professionalism considering child safety concerns . They tried blackmail me stating that if i left a good review on their website i would be in with a chance of winning the cost of my purchase back therefore any reviews are biased . Im writjng this review to help other parents to avoid the heartache and stress I have suffered at the hands of this sham company who operate under 5 different names from the same address. There are loads more horror stories on line about similar situations with them please research and research some more. Please be aware dont let it ruin Christmas as was my case .best of luck god bless

Excellent customer care, both boards became faulty after using for a week or so and they were returned and then returned back to us very quickly in perfect working order. I bought through this company so I had peace of mind and really glad I did. I have already recommended them to friends who are looking to buy one.

Having placed an order for a hoverboard and kart I was the advised one my order that the kart was on back order. If I had known this prior to hitting but I would have gone elsewhere. Anyhow had the hoverboard which came a few days later, brilliant. The bit all went down hill from there. The hoverboard stopped working and there was a loose part within the body so sent it back for repair after having several conversations. It’s been over 3 weeks and still no hoverboard after chasing several times. I have asked to speak to a manager to be told my call would get escalated. Customer services told me that my delivery was taking place in Friday (12th August) but I received no notification from dpd so chased this up. I was told that the courier has reached max capacity and a driver short so my delivery would be prioritised to Saturday, nothing. Customer service is appalling with zero communication. I have an extremely upset 9 year old.

Very poor service faulty board returned at my expense for repair waited over two months after product returned same issue . Asked for a refund messed me about now stating its working liad of lies . No hoverboard or return please please avoid like coronavirus awful run company

I placed an order and found out after I paid they couldn't ship part of the order, so after 3 phone calls and numerous emails I managed to cancel the order, however they refuse to respond on a refund even after the order wasn't shipped and cancelled, I intend to report to trading standards as a scam and also take them to small claims court for the monies they have stolen. I would say worst service but I haven't received any service.

Worst product experience and This company has the worst customer service to go with it! It is impossible to speak to a manager and staff just respond with “ I can escalate this to a manager and a manager will be in contact by email” the Segway we brought arrived faulty, jolting unsafely to one side, we contacted them within the 30 days. We asked for a replacement but they insisted they walk us through some trouble shooting first that didn’t work. We asked for a free post label but as usual with this company they don’t like to reply but did send one out to us. We sent it back and we heve been promised the product is on its way on more than 5 occasions. it’s been 7 months and my son has no product and they are refusing a refund now saying, we informed them within 30 days but didn’t send it back within those 30 days, but this was due to the trouble shooting they made us do and waiting for a free post label that we realised arrived after returning from holiday without any communication from them that they had even sent one out to us. Con artists that pickpocketed my sons birthday money that he saved hard for! My son still has no money and no product 7 months on!
