They fitted well, but kept rolling down! The sticky bit of elastic did not stick to my legs! I’ve bought these before and they were brilliant, not sure why they have changed but theses did not work!

Dear Tracey I am sorry to hear that you have received a defective garment. This is something we don't like to hear and you are more than welcome to return them to us. We can either issue an exchange, credit note or a refund. We will also feedback your complaint to the manufacturer. Please write a covering note to go in the parcel, explaining the fault, and including your name, address and order number. You can print a new free returns label here: https://www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/3545. We highly recommend dropping the parcel off at your local post office and getting a returns receipt - this is your proof of postage and will provide some tracking for the order. If you don't have a printer, please follow the instructions in the link, and you can select the option to have a QR code emailed to you; which can then printed out at a participating post office or delivery/sorting Office. I dont like to write bad reviews but unfortunately the tights i purchased were a complete waste of money. I put them on and found them very low cut which was really uncomfortable and considering i wanted them to pull in my tummy they were completely useless. I then pulled them up slightly and my thump went straight through the top of the leg. I took them off and binned them.

Both pairs of stockings left me very disappointed. They never stayed up and on both pair I found the quality of material very poor.

I bought the Ballerina Evangeline Fishnet Lace Top Plus Size Hold Ups for my wife, only to find they had a very strong, sweet smell (like talcum powder) coming from the elasticated hold up. The smell stayed the same after hand washing twice so my wife contacted UK Tights, having had no answer to my email request for a refund. The person answering the phone was friendly enough but needed to contact their manager for a decision. As the website had a reference to the hold ups being 'scented hosiery', whatever that means, then apparently, you buy them in the knowledge that they have a strong unpleasant smell and are unable to request a refund. Eventually a 10% refund was offered but my wife didn't feel that was a fair amount for an unusable pair of £18.99 hold ups. It appears that the 'scent' has been added to the hold ups to mask the strong rubber smell coming from the elasticated hold up part. Surely they need to be sorted out and re-manufactured without any strong smell of any sort. Poor customer service and poor quality control from a company that had previously been very good.

I think things may have been partly lost in communication, so I'll explain here what your wife and I discussed. Firstly, I'm very sorry, but we didn't receive the email you sent via our website contact page. I appreciate you letting us know about this and have promptly referred this issue to our Tech Team. In the meantime, you may email us directly at customerservice@uktights.com, any time, and we'll respond within 1 working day. However, I was glad to receive your wife's phone call and feedback, as our aim is to ensure that you are consistently happy with all purchases. If we're able to help, we certainly will. I was most sympathetic to your wife's unhappiness with the product purchased, as I also have a sharp sense of smell, so strong odours tend to irritate me. As such, I'm always very careful about what I buy. Having said that, I've smelled the Ballerina hosiery and it didn't seem particularly offensive to me. This is of course a subjective thing, and may be a different experience if actually wearing the hosiery. Although, since we started selling Ballerina recently, out of 100s of orders, only 3 customers have complained about the scent. The Reason for the Use of Frangrance in Manufacturing: Ballerina's hosiery uses exceptionally vibrant colours on the welt (top) and/or leg, which requires the use of strong dyes. These are completely safe, but as with some other hosiery brands, Ballerina's dyes have an added scent to mask the otherwise strong chemical smell. They've explained that this perfume cannot be removed from the manufacturing process, and the majority of their customers love the fragrance. This is a new brand to us, so initially we weren't aware of the perfume, but after 2 complaints, all Ballerina product pages on our website were updated a month ago to show that they are scented. Unfortunately, your order was placed well after this update, although your wife seemed to think that you hadn't noticed this when purchasing for her. All online purchases rely entirely upon information given on the product page, whether it be sizing, colour, or in this case, an added scent. Because of this, we know that it's essential to provide complete information to avoid customer disappointment. This is especially essential with hosiery, as strict hygiene regulations prohibit us from accepting returns of opened items, unless faulty. Given these strict parameters, if you should ever receive an item that is faulty or wrongly advertised, we are always more than happy to offer a replacement/ exchange/ full refund/ credit, with no questions asked. We also appreciate any feedback you can give, so that we're able to update our website accordingly. However, if the product information is clearly displayed prior to purchase and you're subsequently unhappy with your item once it is opened, I'm afraid that according to the Consumer Contracts 2013, we are unable to accept a return. Regardless of this, I was very sorry to hear of your wife's disappointment. Although we were unable to provide a refund for a non-faulty, correctly advertised item, as a gesture of goodwill, I was glad to provide an offer code for 10% off a future order. This gesture was not intended as a refund or partial refund, but as a heart-felt acknowledgement of her unhappiness. If you're ever unsure of an item, for whatever reason, please do get in contact with us before buying. Our Customer Service Team has extensive product knowledge and will be able to advise. Item arrived quickly (hosiery gloves), however they were of very poor quality. I ordered a pair for my daughter and I and neither pair fitted well. Both were badly stitched, one glove had a small hole in and another glove had a stain on!

the size guide was way off ordered size 2 would have fitted a 6ft7 giant so dissappointing you can not check the size without opening the item it said size 2 on the item but was totally wrong size . would never buy again as policy is no refund if opened yet no way of knowing size is wrong without

Dear Sir/Madam, You are absolutely entitled to return these to us for a replacement, exchange or refund. Our returns policy states that opened items may not be returned, unless they are faulty. As long as you have chosen the correct size for your measurements (according to the size guide), if the size is wrong upon opening, then this is certainly classed as a fault. It sounds to me as though you have received an incorrectly packed pair of tights (i.e. a larger size was accidentally packed in the size 2 packaging at the factory). Hi Louise I'm really sorry you have not received the other two pairs of tights from us yet. I have checked your order and chased this up with the manufacturer and they have said that they are struggling to get this item in from Italy. The delays are due to Covid 19 I'm afraid and the fact that the factories have been closed in Italy for such a long time. I'm going to refund your money for these two items right away Louise as it might be some time before we get them in again. Once again, my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and I'd like to thank you for shopping with UK Tights. I waited for weeks for the stockings for my partner and when they came they were the wrong colour they should have been black, not brown. And they should have been held up stocking not ones for a suspender belt. As for the fit, my partner is 5'10" they just got over her knees. For £5,99 each joke. I cant see us ordering anything more from UK Tights.

Hi John I'm sorry that you feel we didn't supply the correct products but having checked your order I can see you ordered the colour poudre/black which is the only colour that these stockings are offered in. This is clearly shown on the image that it is a powder coloured leg (tan) with a black seam. As can be see, they do not actually come in black. This item is clearly displayed with a suspender belt. No where does it refer to them as a hold up stocking! The reason you waited so long for your product was that the whole world has been on lockdown and goods were simply not coming in and out of the country. They were not being made or shipped I'm sorry to say so everyone has experienced this at this time. I hope you will reconsider and shop with us again in the future now that I've explained the situation to you.

Hello Niki I'm sorry that you have not got your parcel. We have tracked this with Royal Mail and this is what they say... Tracking no. VY234880644GB Your item was delivered on 16-05-2020. It appears your parcel has been delivered. Below you can see who has delivered it and when. Updated on: Saturday 16 May 10:39am Delivered by Home Counties North DO Can you please contact your local sorting office and ask them where it is as they will have a satalite image of where they have left the parcel.

Although I ordered the correct size, both tights did'nt fit. Nowhere near, and 1 pair ripped. I was very disappointed, did'nt bother sending them back. I was too angry, they ended up in the bin. That was £27 I'll never see again. I will never buy from this company again

Really disappointed with the tights. They were the correct size according to the charts, but they were not long enough and I’m only 5”7 even though I gave them a pre-stretch, the waist band didn’t hold up and so they were sagging down before I’d even gotten to work. They also got a hole in the crotch on the first and only, because they’ve had to go in the bin. I only tried this brand because it’s difficult to get a high denier nude tights elsewhere. The search continues. Waste of money.

It certainly doesn't sound right that they fit so poorly, as the Large size should fit 5'6"-5'10". It may be that you received a faultily sized product. Normally, we'd ask that all faulty items be returned, or that you send a photo of the sizing issue to customerservice@uktights.com and include at least 2 body measurements as shown on the product's size guide. Unfortunately the products have been delivered to the wrong address as you have not updated your database. And I have been told to wait for two weeks to see if they are returned ! Not a great answer
