Ended up using bleach as the spray didn't kill the mould. The kit was very expensive. The gloves didn't fit, had to go out and buy a face mask, not sure why it cost £35!

hi sorry for the negative response but we're not that impressed. We specialise in structural repairs in the south wales area and have not used your company before and thought we would try out as we usually buy locally. 1. we ordered on Friday 5th 2018 and was told that the order would arrive on Monday 15th. we asked that the order be deliver to the clients house ( 37 Heol Cardiff ) but the order didn't arrive. On returning home i discovered that your company had sent the items to the billing address ( 128 pen Cardiff ) and as a result of this i had 3 men doing nothing on that day. 2. the two sds 6mm drill bits that came with the kit broke within 30 holes each. is this normal? both fractured, 1 about 35mm from tip and the other 45mm from base. waste of money i guess as we used a standard bosch drill bit ( non sds) and one bit did the remaining 165ish holes. i liked like some recompense for the above. regards Gareth

placed order monday- now it's Thursday night, no fixings delivered, and so I will have to go driving round in the morning to find some over the counter so that the guys who arrive in the morning to do the job can get it done. On top of that I will be left with £56 worth of fittings which I won't then need. Trusting this outfit is turning out to be a very expensive choice. JJ

courier service was poor, poor customer service, suggest changing provider. Clear shipping address returned to depo twice due to drive could not find address, google search clearly indicates the location and all tenants on the road know the address, including a large sign on the street. contact number did not transfer from uk system to irish system

I bought their mini crack stitching kit to repair a wall in my house. The kit came in a very large box which seemed wasteful and the brand name didn't match Twistfix's. The instructions supplied were minimal to say the least - half a side of A4. The grout applicator supplied was awful. It was a Point Master (not a Grout Master as advertised), a product which I have used before for grouting stone paving. This applicator may be acceptable for paving but less so for brick pointing, and certainly not for this particular product as the nozzle is too wide, the plunger too difficult to control and the filling of the tube incredibly messy and wasteful. A Roughneck brick mortar gun would have been much better as it would have come with the right sized scoop for filling and a selection of nozzles appropriate for the job in hand, with a greater degree of control of the flow of the grout into the slot between brick courses. On checking comparative prices online for the two applicators I see that the Roughneck is actually cheaper. Another annoyance was the finger trowel which was too thick for the 10mm slot between bricks, making smoothing off of the grout very difficult. I soon reverted to an old flat screwdriver instead. Worst of all was the very mean amount of grout supplied which was only just sufficient to embed the supplied lengths of steel rod. I had to scrape my bucket very hard to get enough, and even had to rob a little from earlier applications to ensure the rods were properly covered. This was potentially very bad for me as I had rented an angle grinder and scaffolding tower specially to do the job, so couldn't delay without incurring additional weekly fees. Luckily I managed to finish the job and once the sticky grout was in and the rods inserted I could start to repoint the next day, when the grout had hardened nicely. Oh, the instructions state that "Surplus grout on finished surfaces can be allowed to dry and removed with a stiff brush." This is misleading. If the grout is allowed to set on the brick face it is incredibly difficult to remove. Which makes the clumsy Point-Master applicator gun even more annoying as it is very easy to smear the bricks with the grout using this tool. Whatever you do don't let it set on the brick faces! It sticks like the proverbial excrement to a woven woollen winter bed covering! With any luck I won't have to do this job again but I was annoyed at the minimal standards this company applied to a product that was likely to be used by both experienced builders and DIY homeowners. Time will tell me whether the kit has worked on my cracked wall but I felt rather stressed using it.

No instructions included and despite e-mailing was told they were in the box (they weren't). Managed to find them by searching the internet but should not have needed to. The special grout was too runny, despite mixing in all the solid part. It kept running out of the gap. Time will tell if their has fixed the movement.

I bought products from Twistfix Limited required to do crack stitching and associated works. The products were delivered to customers address as ordered. After drilling two holes with the one 450mm long 6mm SDS drill bit supplied in the installation pack, it snapped at the shank end. These drill bits are poor quality and should drill more holes than two before they break. These drill bits are specials and are required for the fitting of the 450mm long ties Twistfix supplies to be able to install the system. Because the drill bit length is required to be able to fit this twistfix tie or Helibar system and is a special 6mm long drill bit manufactured for the system you pay more for the drill bit required. If you decide to use or fit this type of system and you buy the products from Twistfix Limited, just make sure you order plenty of the 6mm drill bits if you are doing a lot of drilling as the drill bit product supplied to me was very poor quality as it snapped on the second hole drilled with it. I rang up Twistfix Limited and explained to them about the poor quality of the drill bits supplied by them and they said they would replace it. I asked them to deliver me more than the one replacement thinking on the lines that if they are poor quality and not last long I would need plenty more to install the system that they designed using this 6mm type drill bit. I ordered another 6 drill bits and at a cost of around the £95.00 for six 6mm drill bits 450mm long, Twistfix ltd delivered seven more drill bits which included the replacement for the one that had snapped. The drill bits were delivered by carrier and came at 230pm the following day. I started to drill again with one of the 6mm drill bits sent to me, and yet again after about 5 holes the drill bit snapped again at the shank end this is where the SDS part of the drill bit fits into your SDS drill. I then added another of the new drill bits sent and after about seven holes the drill bit snapped again. You can imagine at this rate I am going to be going through quite a few of these poor quality drill bits and might not have enough to finish the installation for the customer. Drill bits are manufactured to drill and last more than the holes these poor quality ones did. It is obvious to me that there is a fault with these poor quality 6mmx450mm long drill bits supplied by Twistfix Ltd which is required to fit the tie system they designed. Twistfix Limited need to speak to there own suppliers who supply Twistfix ltd these poor quality drill bits who then sell them onto clients who choose to purchase the tie system or crack stitch system where these drill bits are required. Although I had a problem with the drill bits supplied to me from Twistfix ltd in the package I purchased, the system ties went in well using the fitting tool supplied in the package. For those of you who might read this just remember that this type of tie system is designed to be installed by using an SDS rotary drill to be set on hammer only so the drill does not rotate. Hammer action setting on the SDS drill only with blue tip of the tie to be placed in the fitting tool end. Drill a 6mm pilot hole first to about 10mm-20mm depth more of the size of tie you are installing. This ensures that the end of the new tie being fit into the wall fits below the wall surface. Just remember to order plenty of drill bits when you purchase the installation package of your choice as you will need plenty until Twistfix Limited sort out this passing off of poor quality drill bits to there customers who install there systems. Just a small point, for those of you who are interested, I have been installing structural systems for many years to clients properties and used many different types of drill bits. My own thoughts are that I feel that I have been let down by Twistfix Limited who are supplying and passing on to clients poor quality 6mmx450mm drill bits that are over priced and do not come up to the standards required to install the system the 6mm drill bit is designed for.

The goods I ordered arrived before any tracking information. Attempts to understand why have been met with various excuses. Fact is in my case the goods are better than the delivery information. Best advice is to keep ringing Sales and let them track your order.

I paid £12 for quicker delivery and placed the order for 2 packets of small fixings and a driver head all of which fitted in a A3 padded envelope. The order was placed before 11am on the Friday and it arrived on Monday am. If you do not deliver on Weekends then this is fine, but do not take peoples money for a service that does not give what you expect. There are other companies out there who would deliver next day (despite Friday) for less money. I wont get fooled again!

I purchased a Lintel repair kit - It included four 3.5 metre lengths of helical bar but only enough repair grout for less than two lengths. I would expect the kit to contain enough material to complete the job and not have to make a further purchase That said the installation was straightforward and help and advice easily obtained

No where near enough grout supplied with the kit. Needed about 50% more to do a good job. Pointing gun of poor quality , the nozzle was too big for the slot specified and it did not seal properly .
