“Today our family attended Trevelyan House Surgery to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. The whole process was seamless and so efficient. We had an appointment at 10.30am. We were met by two volunteers who checked our names and directed us to the rear of the surgery. Temperatures were checked vaccinations given and we were asked to wait 15 minutes in a lovely warm gazebo. Staff and volunteers were so helpful and friendly. During this terrible pandemic it gave us hope . I would say please don’t just turn up without an appointment.
Bearing in mind the staff are still running a day to day surgery they are excelling and a credit to the NHS”
“Generally a pleasant bunch on the reception desk and a decent set of doctors, although they can be slightly inconsistent. For example, I recently needed a repeat prescription having been discharged from hospital and run out of painkillers ahead of the bank holiday. Called and spoke to a chap who said that perhaps if I bought it the discharge papers from the hospital the doctor might be able to issue something the following day. When I actually popped in, there was a pharmacist there who was able to sign off the prescription and sort things there and then. Overall a good result but would have been good to receive the same advice from everyone.”
