“Stay away from this company. My order has been hanging for a month. I can't find a way to talk to anyone. I've been waiting for a month now and I've been receiving emails from Tradeinn, but no one is listening to me. Can you please give me a contact person? I can't get over my problem. I've ended always in a loop of never ending conversations with a (very stupid robot, no AI, just plain dumb). No chance to explain that I have no order in my account where I could change something so the shipment would be complete for sending. 2 days later the robot sends me an email saying I should change the goods which are out of stock so it could be completed. I'm on field one again. I'm Talking again with the robot, get his email with the same text (signature changes from Betty, Jasmin, Laura, to any new name). Same loop. I hope PayPal gets my money back otherwise I loosing $350. Keep away from this company. Too big, to lousy, to greedy, with a very bad IT.”

“Ordered a few things on 02 August 2023 for my trip on 10 September 2023. Pay for the order at full price and get confirmation that the estimated delivery date: 15 Aug - 21 Aug. On 29 August learned that they didn't even ship the order. Star No notifications for delays, no information about rescheduling of delivery - nothing. Support close conversations without answering my questions. Asked to change delivery company for DHL - they refuse to do that. My trip is ruined and I'm disappointed. Order 40827220.”

“Save yourself money and nerves and stay away from this company! I've had a bad experience as many others in these reviews. I ended up paying 20% more and waiting for the shipping twice longer. 1) Indicated shipping time was 2 weeks, but in the end it was 4 weeks. 2) If you are outside of EU (e.g. Switzerland), they will not remove the VAT so carefully check the final price you are paying. They DO NOT REMOVE VAT. In screenshots below you can see a 132EUR backpack. When country changed to Switzerland the price is 124 CHF (129EUR). The customer service just claims - we do not add any taxes (which for shipping in EU is not correct) and for non-EU they write below the price "excl. Taxes" (which is also not correct because prices in EUR and CHF are the same).”

“Hi, ordered a Berghaus rucksack a few weeks back, 13th June 22 and have been advised by a Trekinn email to expect delivery between the 7th and 11th July. Good job I'm not in a particular hurry and this prolonged delay is not critical BUT unless it's coming from China, I cannot understand why it is taking so long. This rucksack was discontinued a year or so back. The website implied it was brand new. We shall see if this is so when it is finally delivered.”

“Trekk inn, stay away from these crooks, they advertise on a site with .ch so you think they are Swiss and they come up first on Google swiss search a lowest price but they are really are from the Netherlands you pay postage but its only to their boarder and when it gets to Switzerland you pay 37 CHF for import duties! Real slime.”

“Worst company ever. Ordered a North Face coat for my husband, it took a while to get here and then the size would have fit the whole family inside. I then had to pay £10.99 to get a return note before I could return, which I did. Royal mail tracking says they received my parcel on the 21st April and I still have to refund. Did an on line chat with them and was told it takes a while to process. We are now 1 month after receiving goods and still noting. Stay clear of this company”

“Reading all these negative reviews, I have to argue the difference tbh. Ordered a pair of leki carbon poles a little under a week ago they arrived this morning Sunday 1st May. Unbelievable price constant updates on shipping. I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Many thanks trekking.”

“Avoid this company!! Expensive delivery costs, items took weeks to arrive. By the time they arrived i had been forced to purchase them elsewhere as needed them by a certain date. £10 to return them and no print in store option available for returns label. Don't be fooled by the slightly cheaper prices.”

“I returned the product a month ago in authorise store to return and after following up, i am getting reply that they have not received my returnes item, and wanted me to send via royal mail, made a mistake of buying product from this seller. I am still waiting for my refund and dont know when will get it. Just sending then detail of tracking POs and still nothing. Very bad.”

“Very unresponsive and unhelpful. I ordered a harness for my dog, she died before it was even shipped and I tried to cancel it. No help at all, it arrived today and now i am being charged £11.99 to send it back plus the cost of the original carriage. i run a mail order business myself, I could have got it turned around with my carriers because I care about my customers. Difference is you don't. Not only have i the grief of losing my beautiful dog but i have the hassle of dealing with you.”

“DO NOT USE. I ordered belay gloves on the 30th of December 2020 and was told the estimated delivery date would be between Mon. 04 Jan. and Tue. 05 Jan. It is now the 2nd of February 2021 and the only tracking update that has been available is that 'the parcel has left the parcel center.GLS. Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain'. They have updated the status 10 times with that update over January 2021. So after a month the parcel has not even left Spain. I complained and they said this was due to new regulation with Brexit, etc. Brexit happened a month a go and on January 29th, my parcel is still in Spain. They will not issue a refund. It is also £8 to return a product. Avoid using this company, customer service is poor. I have no idea when I will get a my product and they refuse the cancel and refund me.”

“The worst customer service and order processing I have ever seen in my career or 10 years !!!!! I placed an order of a sleeping bag which according to them was supposed to be delivered between 19th and 25th Jan 2021. On 25th they say that it got dispatched on 15th and might take 15 working days to get delivered. In the meantime that has no visibility on where the package is located. They send the pack through the worst possible mail service. While the pack could have been sent through someone like FedEx!!!”

“Avoid at all costs. I ordered something several weeks ago, heard nothing from them. They won’t give any updates or information, the item is now in storage in Spain. It took 3 days for the package to leave the TrekkInn warehouse that’s how bad they are! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.”

“Me and my partner both ordered a north face jacket. Based on the size guide my partner selected the large and it was far too big! Do not follow the size guide! My jacket is supposed to have adjustable toggles around the bottom but they have been stitched in. I have tried to submit a free return but I just get an error message. When I emailed them they ignored the question about the fault with my jacket. Now I am expected to pay £14 to return the items. The zips are also on the opposite to usual which is weird. Think they might be fake to be honest.”

“Do not buy from Trekkinn/Tradeinn. I spent £143 in November 2019 on a coat for my son. It has never arrived. At first they sent a despatch note saying it had been 'despatched TO the courier' (Royal Mail) but Royal Mail has never received it. In February Tradeinn customer services said they would look into it and I should wait 14 days. Now they refuse to acknowledge my emails demanding a refund. Basically they have stolen my money and it seems there is nothing I can do.”

“Zero customer service. Advertised as shipping through Norwegian post and transaction in NOK. Arrived extremely late. Had to pay almost the cost of the product in customs fees and VAT which was not mentioned before concluding the contract. Operation in violation European customer law.”

“At first I was skeptical that the site and my item was not legit because of the reviews here. But still I ordered because I was so desperate of getting the bag I wanted for so long and only found it on this website. After anxiously waiting for tracking/delivery updates, my bag was a day late in delivery. But that's because of my local post office and Tradeinn has no control over that. Still the delivery was fast even though it was overseas and I'm on the other side of the world. (NOTE: You cannot blame Tradeinn for delivery delays or etc. They have totally no control over that.) Will surely order again from this website. Cheers for the good work! For all my fellow Filipino buyers there, take my note. 15-17 days shipping and pick it up at Phlpost office for faster transactions.”

“The product supplied was good quality however that was the only good thing about the transaction. The original delivery was the wrong size, to return this (shorts with a weight of 140grms) cost £6.99 using the service provided by Trekkinn I then had to pay again for the smaller size. the refund for the wrong size was eventually paid 14 days later and for some reason it was a couple of pounds less than the original price I will not use this company again stay well away. very poor service and customer service is almost non existent.”
