About Treethorpe Ltd:

In the last ten years, working with private individuals, company secretaries, asset custodians, local authorities and solicitors, we have helped over 2,500 ordinary people benefit from over £17 million worth of assets; assets they themselves had either long since forgotten about, or through our involvement, they have received a share in an unknown asset or estate they were legally entitled too. “Professional and empathetic and responsive is how I would describe Takudzwa, our case manager. I was contacted by them just over 12 months ago and was initially concerned that it was a scam as no details of my relative was included (this is because they have to ask a series of questions to find out if indeed you are said relative). I also carried out checks on the company via Companies House and they are legitimate. They do not ask for any bank account details or payment upfront plus they were clear in their information pack regarding fees they take once everything is finalised...it was 27.5% plus VAT. Our case had 12 beneficiaries so it took just over 12 months and took just a small effort to send proof, birth /death/wedding certificates. I also signed up to the online progress link to our caseload, which was very useful. At the end we received a free copy of our family tree. The whole process is too difficult to do yourself. Ours was only a small sum but I would urge anyone to engage in the process; even if at the end, you simply decide to donate your share to your chosen Charity.”

“I was contacted back in 30/10/2020 regarding information request in one of their cases. I replied and provided relevant family information. I duly received their information pack. I had no further contact so April 2021 I contacted them and was informed things were on going. Since then there has been no further update or communication despite several emails and phone calls leaving messages for a callback the last of which being January 2024 have all been ignored / unanswered. Some sort of update would be nice even if its the case has been dropped, Due Diligence comes to mind.”

“Short of words to describe the diabolical service received since first contacted by Treethorpe Ltd approaching 18 months ago. Beggars belief this organization remain in business…”

We are very sorry to read about your disappointment in the time it has taken to deliver our service. There are a small number of general reasons that have contributed to the delays we’ve experienced, including difficulties in dealing with 3rd parties as a result of their re-emergence after COVID, and more recently postal strike action. Specifically for your case however, there is an outstanding matter that we have been trying to resolve with a 3rd party on your behalf, which they have not yet agreed to – resolving this matter as we have been pressing for would have a material positive effect for you our client. “My case Manager Marta was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was so incredibly helpful in every part of the inheritance claim process, remaining professional, but empathetic at all times. She went above, and beyond my expectations on one occasion. I admit that I had my reservations when I was first contacted by Treethorpe, but honestly, it's nothing to be worried about. The claim process takes time (in my instance) but there's not too much input expected from the claimant. Yes the fee's are high, but hey, it's free money and without these guys; I would never have known about the inheritance. I would definitely recommend them.”

“I was very wary when contacted out of the blue but after some conversation back and forth and some research, I realised they were a real company! My contact was Marta - who was very professional, eloquent and explained how everything worked. These things take time (especially in the middle of Covid) but I knew I could trust Marta to sort everything out properly and legally on behalf of my late relative, and she did.
