“The product and price looked perfect for my porch but an order was unfortunately not placed because I only needed 3 packs and the delivery cost was considerably more than the price of the travertine.”

Dear Mr Antell, we hope you are well. We believe you are confusing us with possibly another tile company, the only order we have received from you was for a sample through our website, this was shipped to you the next working day and was delivered via Royal Mail 3 days after shipment. We have never received an actual order from yourself. For future reference, we have no minimum order limit, this can be tested by simply inputting a single tile of any of our products in to your basket, which you can then place an order for. Hello Mr Surdu, first of all, thank you for your order with us. We don't quite understand your complaint as we don't promise a delivery time with orders. If you are referring to the delivery time frame then let us kindly explain, that you placed your order on Saturday the 11th, as you are already aware, you picked the standard delivery option which promises delivery within 3-5 "working days" which is Monday - Friday. Your order was delivered to you this morning at 10:33, this is within the 5 working days promised by us as your supplier. Most of the orders are usually delivered before the 5th working day however, you are also aware that you said "YES" to the question "ANY ACCESS ISSUES (NARROW LANES, PARKED VEHICLES OR GATES) AT THE DELIVERY SITE?" when placing your order, for this reason, we attempted contacting you to ensure that we forward any relevant information in regards to any restrictions in/around your area to the hauliers, as to ensure your order delivery does not result in a failed delivery attempt by them, this had resulted in 1 day delay in dispatching your order, but again, your order is still delivered within the 5 working days as promised. Thank you again for your order with us, if you have any other queries please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

“Fantastic product - I bought 'classic travertine' filled and honed stone tiles for bathroom floor - lovely varied cream / honey colour tones - high quality varied (but consistent enough) batch - well cut and finished - £22 per square metre - thinking of getting more for the kitchen👍👍👍”

Dear Ms Humphrys, we are sorry to hear your sample was received damaged. As we have no control over how our posted samples are treated when being handled by a third party delivery company, unfortunately, damages do occur with a very small percentage of the hundreds of samples we post, due to the fragility of the items. Royal mail set strict rules regarding package weight and sizes, these restrict us in the types of material we can use for our sample shipments, however, we always look to improve our postage methods and will continue to do so to ensure we always improve on our service. We have also arranged another 2 samples to be sent out to you with the quickest Royal mail delivery service. With regards

“The only suggestion I would make is that you put a "Fragile" label on the tile samples and bubble wrap them because when the postman put the samples through my letterbox and dropped them on the floor, both my tile samples broke.”

Dear customer, thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We do our best to ensure that any samples we send out are protected as best as possible, we do enclose them in a bubble wrap envelope and multiple samples are packed together for support. We unfortunately do not have any control over how our posted items are treated on route which is when damages are most likely to occur. Royal Mail have restrictive rules in regards to package weight and size and these rules unfortunately do restrict us in the materials or bubble wrap we can use for our samples. We will, however, always continue to look into how we can improve our packaging where possible to minimise any possible damages that may occur with our sample shipments in the future. With regards

“Lots of choice at very reasonable, items are delivered to a local depot who contact you to arrange delivery, they like you to be at home to accept, but don't offer weekend delivery! ? Sorry but most people work in the week! Reviews are very good so hopefully won't be any problems with delivery”

“Easy to order and arrived on time. Quality of the tiles is excellent and the colour is as expected. A few of the corners are slightly chipped, therefore care will need to be taken to select these for cutting where a whole tile is not required. Delivery company was good about coordinating delivery time.”

“Good store, only thing is the postage. I cannot purchase a single pack of tiles as the cost of postage is the same for a pallet of tiles. No other option suggested other than come and collect in person, will not allow my own courier to collect also.”

Hello Mr Gibson, Thank you for your kind words regarding our store. In regards to our shipping costs, due to us working with a 3rd party haulier, they, unfortunately, have a single flat charge per consignment, they charge to collect a pallet of items, which can be a single square meter or up to 45 square meters on some of our range of items. With our previous unfortunate experiences with courier services in the past, we never recommend a courier service to transport large fragile stone tiles, there is no method of packaging we can do to larger stone tiles that will prevent them from breaking during this service even by simple constant shaking in the van they will be transported in and therefore protecting your interest, we kindly recommend a collection in person. We hope this helps explain why we have not agreed to a courier service on this occasion.
