“If you are worried about all the red tape involved with Chinese travel, use Travel-Direct.com. We posted off the visa application with the passports, sent a cheque, and that was it. Compared to other visa application sites Travel-Direct was one of the cheapest, yet they still delivered a five star service. We have our visa stamped in our passport, so we couldn’t be happier.”

“The service was excellent, just complete the forms and post to Travel Direct in Edinburgh along with your documents. Set up the payment and within a week I got my passport back with the Visa. Also this was the cheapest place I found for the Visa. Great service and would Travel Direct again for future travels.”

“Ever since purchasing a visa through them I have had numerous Chinese spam emails coming to the email I used to sign up. This surely cannot be a coincidence and through new data protection laws my email should not have been shared with anyone.”

Dear Customer, Thank you for comment. We do NOT share our customers' emails, and any other details with anyone. We are a UK company and have no dealings with marketing companies either in the UK or abroad including China. We do NOT pass our customers details to third parties except the Chinese embassy where your visa is issued. In fact we do not even store our customers details (addresses, documents details, telephones etc), everything you send us for the visa processing goes to the Chinese embassy and stays in their archives. Once your visa has been processed, the spare paperwork with your personal details is destroyed. There is absolutely no chance that your email address could have been obtained from us by anyone in China. We do NOT run or own any databases that can be accessed or hacked online. You must have used your email address for arranging your upcoming trip to China, travel bookings etc. which made your email address available to someone in China but I can assure you that when it comes to us, your email address and your other personal details are not shared with anyone except the Chinese embassy who requires them for the visa processing. “Never having used a visa agency before I was a bit apprehensive but I needn't have been. The staff at Travel Direct were exceedingly helpful and explained everything fully. I sent away all the necessary documentation and my passport and visa arrived back as promised. I recommended Travel Direct to my friend for our trip and she duly used them. Would highly recommend them for obtaining visas to China/Russia.”
