“Great company to deal with and very helpful staff on the phone. We ordered a beam but on arrival we decided the colour was not what we wanted so we spoke to Traditional Beams and they sent us colour samples. We then returned the beam and ordered the colour we wanted. We had a full refund on the original beam and the new beam arrived on time. We are very impressed with the quality of this product and the fitting instructions.”

“An awesome business!!!!! It's rare in business to meet a company who really cares about the customer and is prepared to go to any length to ensure orders are fulfilled, in the hope of exceeding expectations. Generally, when you buy a beam, it is an emotive purchase; it's a functional item for a room, fireplace etc. but despite this, you place yourselves in the hands of the company re their selection of timber (given every length of oak is unique in its finished look) and workmanship, hoping the finished product lives up to expectations. My experience with Traditional Beams was slightly different - we needed a beam 2 metres long, 25cm X 14cm, their response was immediate "no problem at all!!" which continued throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble i.e. sending additional pictures re the styles of beams to help us make our choice. Highlights included contact being consistent and being kept aware of the progress of the order throughout. There were a couple of niggles along the way however, being able to talk with Catherine and David directly as well as via email ensured we got there in the end; this was only possible through their empathy, professionalism and expertise; many thanks. Finally, I had spoken with other companies prior to choosing Traditional Beams; no doubt, the value of any business IS the people - Catherine and David were brilliant and to top it all we ended up with an amazing beam!!!”

“Easy to follow website. I had to wait a while for delivery mainly due to when I ordered (Christmas period) but once the shelf had arrived I was very pleased. Nice quality. Does the job for which it was intended.”

“Good product - would be great if you could show more stain colour options on your main website (I scrolled through Instagram to try and find the stain I liked) also a detailed walk through of instillation process would be great - I’m not afraid of diy but i was a bit concerned with fitting the beam (measurements have to be spot on) even then it was a tight fit - seems to be sturdy enough though.”
