Item was shown in stock on website. However, when I called to collect my items, they had none in stock. It’s bad enough having social distancing and made to queue up outside, but petty talk at the desk with customers doesn’t help when you’re waiting in line to be served. Definitely would not purchase anything from here again.

There is no excuse for advertising one size of battery on the website and say after ordering that a more powerful one is needed. I had to pay an additional fee for this mistake. A lack of information on a product made this an expensive mistake.

Almost 2 week and order was not even dispatched, no communication, no information about delays, just excuses and blames towards Corona virus

I didnt want to leave a review, because of the unusual situation, but they have sent me 4 requests for one. I know that theses are difficult times, so accepted the extremely long dispatch estimates, which were kept to. But 3/4 of my order is more than 10 days late. Partly due to DHL putting back the delivery date of one of my deliveries, but also due to an in-stock item, not being dispatched at all, then picked and packed, I assume as a misc item, which was never dispatched. Then a second misc item was picked, packed and dispatched. I'm confused by what is dispatched, as I've had notification of 7 dispatches for 5 items. Only 2 have arrived. Invoices do not match dispatch notes, on deliveries... No one at tooled up answers the phone or email....

Placed an order for a Black and Decker grass strimmer on the 20 April 2020 and it arrived on the 12 May 2020. Allowing for the present pandemic the lack of communication from the company regarding delay was very poor and if improved would reduce complaints.

I know we are in exceptional circumstances at the moment but I was hoping I may have received my order by now. I was for my daughters birthday. I submitted and email to the Contact and have not heard anything about my parcel. The shopping and what I wanted was easy to find and a good price.

Well one part of my order was cancelled after the order had been accepted presumably because it was out of stock but no reason or apology was given. A second part turned up in an envelope yesterday and I haven't received the third yet and no advice received. So you get to feel the whole things a bit automated and not really customer focused. Guess these days you get used to really efficient personal feeling sevice. Sorry Tooled Up.

purchased a Flymo GLIDER 330 Collect Hover Mower 330mm its pretty well useless does not cut the grass short enough and the right handle keeps cutting out awkward if your right handed do not buy

Although I was happy with the product and that it turned up on time i was very disappointed to find that you sell this product £5.00 cheaper on your own web site £17.95 on eBay but only £13.95 on tooledup.com boo!

Online market places such as eBay and Amazon take a small commission on each order. If you had purchased from our site there would have been a delivery charge, from £3.95 depending on the area. Providing the delivery to your area would be at the lowest rate of £3.95 we would have only been cheaper by £0.05. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for asking us for a review sorry but we have not received our purchase yet we do not know what happened they said they delivered but left no card or address were they left our purchase We spoke to day with the manager and he is dealing with this situation, Kind regards Ian Howell

I'm not sure where to start and how to write this review. I didnt recieved the item as yet as your delivery company did not deliver it at the scheduled time. So they waste my time on Friday when I arrange my time to be at home for delivery and also weekend which I prepared to clean my garden using the tools I ordered from you. I could not do what I planned. I feel disappointed at the minute with the delivery service as it was quite important for me to get this before the weekend. Disappointed Jack

My apologies for the delay with your order, as explained when you contacted us after DHL were unable to attend, this delivery was out for delivery on Friday, Unfortunately, due to the recent weather and flooding around your area, they were unable to deliver so rearranged for Monday. I do apologies for the inconvenience caused by this.

Ordered before 4pm Thursday 10th so expected some time on Friday 11th. Driver left it behind on Thursday (didn't check his consignment). Heard nothing until Friday afternoon when DPD site posted that they had not received the item. I contacted Tooled up- note: not them contacting me! DPD posted it would arrive between 16;31 and 17:31 Monday. Did arrive. Throughout very poor.

Sorry to hear about the trouble with the delivery of your order, unfortunately, we were not aware of the problem until you contacted us. DPD collected your package and as far as we were aware your order was on its way to you. After a quick chat with DPD to get the location of the parcel verified, they found your item and sent it safely on the way. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by our courier.

My wife ordered the product for my birthday. Upon attempting to use for the first time the item broke. I contacted you and a customer service representative was dealing with it as I had to send in photos of the issue. After a few days no reply. Contacted again and told to do the same thing, few days later, again no reply. Contacted again and told that the representative dealing with my case had left the business. So I started again and with great support and understanding from Maisie. Told to contact Gardena, phone just kept ringing and no answer to email, tried this 3 times. Back to you and Maisie tried on my behalf and had the same problem. Finally Maisie got hold of Gardena and they agreed, in this situation (??) To send out a replacement. Maisie organized and sent me email to say I would receive in a week's time. No product arrived. Contacted Maisie again........., To be told the product out of stock and that I would receive the following week. It came yesterday!!!!. Summer has gone? I doubt if I will receive a follow up email, phone call??

Still waiting for the order to turn up - so difficult to write a review beyond: Get a more reliable carrier & one that actually lets the customer know what to expect !(like telling me a signature is required & delivery will be between the early morning & late evening- Monday- then it isn’t / no message. So I have to phone to find out, on Tuesday, what is happening. Supposedly now being delivered on Wednesday & I am supposed to be in to sign for it. In this day and age very poor indeed. First time in 13 years of living at my address that any carrier has messed up do well. Good old DHL - avoid them is all I can say.

The wire on the Greenworks Strimmer was very badly kinked therefore it could not be assembled, the battery was not a Greenworks battery and the charger was all dusty as if it had already been used, I am returning and asking for a refund, plus I should not be asked to return at my expence, disappointing to say the least.
