Its 4/4/24. I've only had my car since 5/3/24 and on 1/4/24 the orange engine light came on. I desperately need transportation for work. Calls to after sales team either go to voicemail or get disconnected. This morning after speaking with my finance company, I called 0121 6677777 did not choose and option. I spoke to Jackie and explained my situation. She was barely polite but transferred my call through to the After Sales Team stating that they are very busy. As expected, voicemail so I left me details again!!! The whole call lasted about 4 minutes. I've read some of the other reviews and wish I'd gone somewhere else!!! Definitely NOT recommending this company to ANYONE!!! I will be cancelling the Life Time Warranty as it looks like a waste of precious money I cannot afford.

Avoid the warranty! The sales people in Nelson were following us round like stalkers! When we chose a car to buy, the person we dealt with was friendly, helpful. Negotiated an MOT and minor repairs within price. This "rep" was the only reason I'm giving a 2 star instead of 1. We were sold an RAC Warranty for £1k which isn't worth the paper its written on! Best advice I can give is do not get it! I have tried to use it 3 times, it seems nothing is covered. It was sold to me as everything except wear and tear products being covered. All electric covered. Then it turns out I can't claim for my parking sensors? Very disappointed with being mis-sold something not fit for purpose. Second hand cars are hit or miss, which we expect to a point. But to be sold a "warranty" that doesn't cover what we were told is a con. I'll not be using RAC for anything after this. And disappointed with Trade Centre Wales for recommending RAC. Doesn't help their reputation one bit

Might be a bit late as I financed my car back in 2019 but I’m still disgusted how they get away it. The day I got my car, I was only going for a a browse. The salesman added so much pressure as soon as I walked into the car shop. Not even letting me look on my own, he’d follow me and ask me what I was looking for etc. If I’m honest, a silly move, but I was with my Mum, she doesn’t drive so we’re not exactly car experts but as I said, we weren’t planning to get a car that day. The salesman showed me an Audi A1, mentioned the discount, great for its price but didn’t tell me one little thing, there was nearly 100,000 miles on there. As I said, I didn’t have a clue about mileage back then. But as he was really trying to sell it to me. I ended up getting it. Turns out, it was his first sale so no wonder he really wanted me to buy a car from him. It was on a 5 year finance, and I only realised after I signed the contract, it wasn’t worth it as the car was definitely going to have some wear and tear which is very costly considering it’s an Audi make. After hearing about the Lloyds black horse lender recently, overcharging interest thanks to the sales men getting higher interest so they can get more commission. I would also avoid them. I do think people can be very naive and convinced. As this is part of the problem with companies like Trade Centre, they take full advantage. I ended up getting rid of my Audi after 2 years as it made me feel so anxious, when there was something wrong with it. Ended up going to Renault for a Dacia car and the sales team were amazing and not pushy at all. Oh one more thing, I knew someone who used to work there, she was told me her team, if someone ring up in regards to a complaint, to put the phone down on the customer.

Absolutely disgusting company!! If I could give them no stars I would! Appalling!! After being pressurised to buy a car we were looking at, it has had non stop faults! We’ve only had the car a few months but it’s been back and forth 5/6 times already leaving us without a car several times for days at a time!! Having been told last time they had replaced the engine we now have a car that won’t start due to engine faults. Phoned TCW and have been told us it’s up to us to get a quote on repair and claim on the Extended Warranty we took out, leaving us without a car over the festive period!! We have asked them to take the car back as we have no faith in the car or the company but we’ve basically been told it’s out of their hands!! Disgracefull! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!! !

My wife bought a car from this company , after I and my son had cars from them previously . On signing for the car we were told that it had a new engine fitted . At this point we were told that we could bring the car back if not happy within 30 days . On inspecting the car at home it was clear that it was not a new engine as stated but a re firbished one . I phoned up straight away to take the car back but was told by a very rude and abrupt lady that I could not take it back as it was not faulty . I will take this further as the customer service is disgusting . I also said we were happy to exchange the car but this was also rejected . Avoid buying from these

Bought a i30 a few years ago they sold me a car with faulty brakes head gasket issues gear box leaks the list could go on had nothing but 6 months of hell with this company. The after sales are a joke avoid this company they do nothing to help you they just fob you off. How this company is still open I do not know. I use Ron skinners now or hutchings there service is far better and the cars are checked properly not like trade centre.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars Updated 2 hours ago AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. They have no issues contacting you to sell a car but we’ve had our car less than a month and it has broken down. We have tried for over 24hrs to contact customer services and left several messages to which no one has bother to call us back. My vehicle broke down but I managed to get it home. I phoned them at 5.20 pm no one answered then a message said leave name and number and customer services will contact you back. I left a message stating we had broken down and need assistance urgently but still no one called back. I left several messages over 24hrs but no one called. I phoned the contact details and this time didn’t request customer services and got to speak to Katie. She was very unhelpful and very rude. I asked could I speak with a manager and she said no managers were in. While speaking with her she slipped up and said her manager informed her that we had to call for recovery. I then pointed out she had lied and requested I speak with the same manager as she did and she replied no when asked why I couldn’t she didn’t give an answer. Katie refused to do anything to help. We explained to Katie who refused to give her second name that we had two small children who we would struggle to get to school and by me and my wife work and we wouldn’t have a car and requested a courtesy car to which she refused to organise for us just stating we would have to make an appointment with branch and that a courtesy car was available they would give us if not then they wouldn’t. My advice to anyone considering buying a car off this company would be avoid them at all costs. They only interested in selling you a car and don’t want to know if you have any issues with the vehicle we had this car for less than 28 days. Shocking attitudes from staff. Please please please avoid this company at all costs. Update. We paid extra for the warranty which covers roadside assistance which we called at 5.45 pm and was told someone would be out by 06.45 pm at the latest. We then revived texts stating 07.10, 08.20 and the 09.20 pm so decided to call them back to be told 10.20 pm and they state they can guarantee someone would be out at that time. Decide for yourself if we have received a good service or not. Update 2. AA the company employed for roadside assistance by Trade Centre Wales to either fix or recover the vehicle didn’t turn up instead sent another company Lanes to inspect the car. Couldn’t fix at road and can’t recover vehicle. We are paying on top of the finance for roadside assistance and or recovery £50 a month on top. Do not buy a car off them, don’t take the extended warranty package out as it’s the most awful service me or my partner has received ever. The Trade Centre Wales you should be ashamed of yourselves. Let’s see if I can speak with someone on day 3 of the issues. Update 3. Emailed asking for manager to contact me, they emailed asking what’s it about so the right manager can contact me so I said a complaint about a vehicle less than 28 days old from themselves which is broken down and this is the 3rd day of trying to get it sorted and then nothing back. I’ve contacted them to speak with someone and they had to send an email asking for someone to call me back urgently. I won’t hold my breath. Update 4. I have to arrange for vehicle to be collected from my address to their address between the hours of 8am to 5pm. Won’t give me a a courtesy as they are all out. My vehicle booked in for repair 20th September. Honestly they don’t give a sh_t that they are giving a terrible customer service. I hope anyone who takes the time to read all this doesn’t go and buy a car off any of their locations.

Wouldn’t waste time on this company drive away same day is not a guarantee As promised and they tried adding an extra £1000 to the finance. After trying to get in contact (which is next to impossible ) to be told

I bought my car recently from the abercynon branch. Exelant staff there. But in finding some problems with my car the abercynon aftercare team staff were not so great. Can't get them on phone and when I did go there in person the staff were quite arrogant. They took my car in to fix the problem and I've had it ba k and the problem is still there. Avoid this branch at all cost.

not one to complain but if i was you i’d stay away from this company!! absolutely shocking service with The Trade Centre Wales! messed around with what cars we could have, turned around and told we could have an ad car only. had a car in April 2022 and was told we only had to pay 6 months then could exchange the car due to it not being what we needed (5 door and auto we ended up with a 3 door manual) and that we were having it cheaper than what the car was worth due to it being a sale ad car! 6 months down the line we tried to exchange and refused due to not paying 12 payments. 12 months down the line we tried again and were told they could only offer £4k for the car, which was WAY under what we were paying for it, turned away yet again. We had non stop problems with the car from day one, a chip in the windscreen which was unfixed and not told about, a huge nail through the back tyre which when we took to customer care was only pumped back up and told it had been changed, took it to a tyre garage to be told we are lucky the tyre didn’t explode and the car flip. we had been told they’d done their “99 point check” however, within a day of leaving the garage the oil had flashed up saying it needed servicing and was like tar when removed and the car was pulling to the side when driving along with the tyre and windscreen problems, the interior was covered in both pet and human hair and make up yet apparently this was all cleaned. took it back to the aftercare and was told as we had done “too many miles” (less than 5k) that any problems occurred were our own fault even though these problems were there when the car was purchased. we’ve been back and forth for months trying to get something sorted and had nothing but lies and attitude from all the staff. spoke to the manager today and he was smug and said i’m no help yet everytime we have walked in he’s turned his head and sat down not offering any support. staff were rude and laughing when we were explaining our problems! 16 months down the line we have returned the car to the finance company and are so happy to be away from there! paying £300 a month for something that was having problems since day one and something we were promised would only be a temporary thing, would never ever recommend them they’re all rude, full of lies and are quick enough to take your money, however when it comes to customers they’re not welcoming at all and in any way helpful! one staff member who sold the car to us actually got sacked in the end because of the lies he had told us and so many other customers in the past!

The Trade Centre Wales - Cardiff North Please do not buy a car from TCW This is a 0 star rating! Please please if you are reading this review and thinking about buying a "quality used car" from trade centre wales, do not do it! We purchased a audi a3 from TCW in April 2022 due ti being pregnant with our second child and needing a bigger car. About 2 weeks after having the car I noticed that the heater did not get hot, they barely got warm at all, so I called them as we were within the 30 day warranty period and the booked the car for June to be inspected. When I had the car back they told me that the heaters were working fine and that I wasn't giving them enough time to heat up! 1 week later I drove from from mountain ash to Bristol airport, 65 miles and the heaters did not warm up. I called TCW to be told they had carried out the inspection and they didn't belive there to be a fault and there was no more they could do. I was also sold RAC gold warranty cover when we purchased the car, and told that it covers everything apart from bulbs,wipers,break discs and pads and was also told that we can cancel it at any time, but if we cancelled within 14 days we wouldn't be charged anything for it. Over the past few weeks we notice that the engine coolant level keeps dropping and a warning light comes on, so we have taken it to one of the RAC approved garages to be looked at, we need a new expansion tank and heater matrix system, which is why we don't get any heat from the heaters which would have been the problem when we bought the car which the mechanics at TCW said were working! It has now caused further damage and in total is costing us over £900! And to make matters even worse the RAC warranty will not cover the cost! So I have asked to cancel the warranty cover as we have been paying £40 per month for 15 months and there a numerous thing they are dealing to cover, to be told we can't cancel it. It was totally miss sold to us and now it's our word against theirs. I spoke to an advisor in the customer care team who was not helpful in the slightest and said there is nit record of me calling them in june to report we were still having issues and basically called me a liar! I have asked to speak to managment but I can't, I have asked how I make a complaint but they honestly don't seem to care, they are just denying everything! They pride themselves of selling quality used cars and their customer service, aftercare etc and even ask you to provide them with a good review while you are purchasing the car, however that's all they care about is selling as many cars as possible and earning as much money as possible, and the sales team just think about commission there is no thought for the customers at all. I will be taking this matter further and I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I have received. I have purchased a car from them before and even recommended them to friends and family! That's all the owner cares about is lining his pockets to sit in his fancy house In swansea and throwing lavish party's for his daughter, all while his customers are suffering as a result of purchasing one of his "quality used cars". Let's hope I eventually get to speak to someone that can actually help me, but I highly doubt it!

We trusted the Trade Centre were honest and more than fair with their car sale prices however immediately after purchasing our car for £13999 we discovered an exact same model was being sold by another main dealer for £2000 less and the mileage was lower.. Shocked by this we immediately submitted a form from the car Trade Centre Wales ‘Price Promise’ web page - after sending the required evidence we were hopeful they will come back with some refund or at least offer a fair compromise. We tried to make contact with someone from the marketing team for 2 weeks and we felt we were being ignored. Eventually someone replied via email saying we didn’t meet the criteria due to a different colour! This was very disappointing as we trusted the dealership would keep to their price promise guarantee. We have been loyal customers for last 6/7 years and also this was our 4th car. Sadly it will be the last car purchase by us.

DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! Absolutely the worst customer experience in my life !!! After the purchase i got my car recovered , the car is at their yard for more the 2months . Iam being told that the car is getting delayed every single week theyve got different excuses every single time . The customer care team are not helpfull at all , they are cocky . I have been promissed a curtesy car , an hour later they called me and said curtesy is also delayed so i cannot collect it / now when i am asking for a curtesy car they saying that they unable to give me one . I payed a fortune for a car that i cannot use at all , i have to speak to these absolulty unpleasent customer care team every single time when id like to get an update / when i aksed for a manager they questioned me back why i need to speak with one ?

I would 100% tell anyone not to buy from these people, they lie about any offer and deals they have, they lie about information on the contract just to get you to sign, and when you call them to discuss these issues they don't want to know you just get palmed off because they already have your money so they don't care.

purchase from your abercynon branch  Fiat 500 x Within 2 days of buying this vehicle it had broken down on me twice  The second time nearly causing a serious accident with my children in the car  Customer services have been nothing but rude and unhelpful telling me I could have to wait up to 6 weeks for my car to have a inspection  In the mean time I have no form of transport unable to get to work as a front line work (nurse) we already in a cost of living crisis and this is how you look after your customers  Paying 9000 for a car that is already massively overpriced for it then to break down on me twice  Im now losing income as I can't get to work unable to pay essential bills and now a finance agreement for a car I don't even have  its effecting my mental health tremendously  How I'm being treated is nothing short of evil  As such a large company you should be ashamed of your selfs treating innocent family's this way

We went to Abercynon trade centre Wales purchase a car I would recommend them took us though everything looking at different cares was not a problem for the young man who took us to view all the cars his name was Naz such a polite helpful young man great asset to trade centre wales them went to Nathan he was great and really welcoming didn’t get the name of the other young man who finalised every thing for us even let us use the phone to transfer our insurance onto the car we purchased well done trade centre would definitely recommend you

The store was extremely clean and today and staff were very well presented. Steve C showed me around and offered me help and advice when I asked for it. Richard then to me through my finance checks etc. He was bonkers, but in a good way. Laura Jones took me through my breakdown cover and other documents. She was lovely and very helpful. I then collected my car and completed a test drive in the beginning with Mitchell who was very friendly and again very helpful. Great experience from Neath Trade Center Wales.
