About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“The two lap throws were bought as a present we were sending to France. Due to a huge backlog in the mail company it took approx. a month to deliver...not your fault. It was a great relief to hear that our parcel had arrived safely. The recipient was delighted with the contents...so..all is well. Thank you.”

“Some items are great, others not so. My Blackett scarfch came with a hole I noticed after I'd removed the labels... its where the weave is so thin, falut in weaving.”

“These blankets are lovely, they are warm, lightweight and beautifully made with British wool. Spent ages trying to find a washable wool blanket to replace manmade fleece ones. Excellent service.”

“I'm delighted with the throw I ordered - the quality is noticeable, the price fair and logistical aspects prompt and efficient. The throw is a lovely shade of red orange which is pleasing as I was ready for a burst of bright colour after a phase of using earthy colours. Well done.”

“I'm so delighted with my armchair Throw, it's beautiful. The quality ensures that it stays in position instead of slipping about and It feels warm and comforting. The service was exemplary. The colour I ordered initially was out of stock, but within a couple of days I was informed that it was available, it was such excellent service.”

“Have had my blanket for nearly 2 weeks now. I LOVE it! I think it would make a perfect wedding gift for my young niece. Introduce her to the real thing early on so she doesn't waste money buying synthetic rubbish for her new home.”
