“Avoid. Literally no customer service past point of sale. taken payment for goods as "in stock", order marked as "dispatched" - only when I requested tracking did they tell me they had no stock, request to cancel was ignored so I now have to contact my bank”

“I ordered for the first time from Asian cookshop, as the item I wanted, I didn't have time to go get. DPD was delivering it on a certain day, so I stayed home. At around 6pm, it was due. Then I got a message saying delivered, with a picture of someone else's property. I went to a few addresses with the same number as me but no luck. I rang DPD, and was told the driver will pick the parcel back up and re-deliver to me. No such luck. I contacted Asian cookshop and after alot of emails back and fourth, they knew I didn't receive it but stopped communicating with me. DPD rang me to say they are opening an investigation but not a word since. I'm now having to go through my banks disputes to get a refund. I will never order from them again, greedy!”

“use by date on a few products had 3 weeks left from delivery,so not impressed as was my first order.did email company but no response so this is my last order too”

“Never received my items on time as promised. I am still waiting 10:00 am a day later.. no response to email/text. I had to cancel my dinner party at the last minute was I had a duck, no pancakes, no Hosien sauce. Bad service.”

“Have used before with no real issues. This time 4 jars of pickles all leaking. All 4 had dented lids despite being well wrapped in bubble wrap. Emailed a complaint but no response after 10 plus days. Will use Spices of India online shop from now on.”

“I have used The Asian Cook Shop several times for ordering spices and pickles/hot sauces. They are always competitively priced with a huge selection. Goods are dispatched promptly and very well packed. Never a problem.”
