The van insurer was the worst insurance broker I have ever used, they tried ripping me off more than once I strongly advise not to use this company!!!

This company The Van Insurer is deceitful and dishonest to the point of being crooked. They emailed me to offer me "cheaper" insurance "based on last year's details" (which have not changed) and now the insurer (One Call Insurance) has fined me for "Misinterpreted Information" which makes the insurance more expensive. Don't get screwed over like I did. Do not use this broker or their insurers which seem to be in on the scam.

stop asking for reviews... if the industry was more honest to its customers (the people who fund them) there would be no need for you to even exist... you did not give me a share of ur commision, and you did not negotiate on my behalf or set up any of the policy so as far as im concerned u are using people requirements to make profit.

Please do not fall into the trap of using this company. They are cheap for a reason and as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! After you have purchased a policy They phone you to try and inflate the cost of your policy. They try every trick in the book to get more money from you and charge a £75 cancellation fee without even setting the policy up! No jokes! Reported to the financial ombudsman and a claim filed with the bank.

Input all my details including a previous crash got a quote and paid for insurance to then have it cancelled as the comparison site had taken of my claim on my quote! Make sure you read it all before you commit to an insurer! This has now resulted in me having a cancelled policy

Failure to recognise ref number issued with quote so you could not be contacted, still waiting to receive refund of deposit from Close Brothers when after cancellation under 14 day cooling off period

The price offered on the comparison site was not the price I ended up having to pay. The insurer had no record of a claim which I had listed - so that increased the premium. In addition, the insurer did not have a record of the modifications I had listed for my pick up, so I had to call them to amend. Fortunately, they waived the admin fee and did not increase the premium for this - but a frustrating waste of time, nonetheless. Seems as though the comparison site did not communicate properly with the insurers... Overall, very unimpressed and will not be renewing through The Van Insurer.

Sent me an email stating: "Found a cheaper online insurance quote? Call us on 0330 022 9022 We guarantee to beat it* You'll need your quote reference number: 197********** This is false advertising - The number belongs to A-Plan and they would not honor the Guarantee and denied that thy have a connection with you. This is completely unacceptable.

They found my van on the website by using the reg so I used that, when they called me up to confirm the details they said the van was an automatic but it’s a Manuel and to change it was an extra £48 on the premium, also the ‘occupation’ section isn’t clear, I put that I was an engineer as that’s what I do but when I was called it had to be changed to ‘company director’ which was then an extra £40, so website has wrong details for vans and not clear that you don’t actually write your occupation, I’m sure if these details for correct on the website I wouldn’t have had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to say my van is a Manuel
