“Steve Simnett: give this man a raise! He was BRILLIANT, me and 6 girls live in a uni house and he was very respectful, didn’t talk down at us, very chatty, very kind, explained every little detail about the process and what would happen after. The service was really thorough he didn’t let anything go unmissed. Me and Katie highly recommend, you’re a legend Steve!”

“I have never felt so ripped off. Man arrived, looked up at the tree, told me there’s no nest because they’re forging wasps, and left 5mins later me having paid £72 and still with all the wasps. Do not use unless you can see a nest!!! What a rip off. Definitely should have called one with no call out fee. Will never use again!!”

Good Afternoon, we are sorry to receive this review. As explained during our most recent telephone conversation. On the initial call our operator advised there would be a survey charge of £60 plus the VAT, if there wasn't a nest to treat. This was explained before confirming the booking with yourself. All our calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes, therefore we are able to forward this recording on via email to yourself, if you wish. All of our technicians have tracking on their vans, we have taken a look to see how long the technician was on site, and can confirm that he was there for a total of thirteen minutes. As there was no nest to treat, we feel that the technician was on site for the required amount of time. If you do wish to discuss this any further, please call us.

“New to us, but amazed by the immediate response. Your man came on time, same day I reported the wasp nest problem, took 2 minutes to treat. After 2 hours no wasps around. Problem solved. Very pleasant person, knew his stuff. Well done.”

“Alex provided a friendly and professional service. Arrived within stated timeframe. Approx 30mins from inspection to removal of wasp nest and departure. No sign of wasps 2 weeks after visit. Highly competitive fee charged.”

“I recently had an issue with rats and contacted Pest Control Co who came out very quickly. The consultant they sent was Derek who has been very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable throughout the process. I am extremely pleased with the whole service and am very grateful to Derek and cannot recommend Derek or this Company enough.”

“I voiced I was uncomfortable with the use of snap traps to catch one mouse but felt a bit pressured into paying for it to be done. £180 for 4 kill traps that are worth £7 from amazon doesn’t seem fair to me. I assumed after agreeing on the phone for the assessment that the mouse could be taken care of on the day and also that the traps wouldn’t kill the mouse. I tried to get a refund over the phone but was told I couldn’t due to the work already being done etc. I understand it was my own fault for agreeing, just like the woman said over the phone to me, it’s a learning curve and I will deal with it myself in future and not get myself into debt over 4 mouse traps.”

Thank you for your feedback. However we can never guarantee that a rodent is going to be caught on the day. Therefore the next option is either traps or poison. On this occasion our technician had decided to place traps down. Our aim is offer excellent customer service, and problem free. We would like to resolve this issue, if you could please call our office.

“I rang at 7:55am and spoke to a really lovely lady who new exactly what she was doing and what to offer me and by 8:30am Jason had arrived to my home. He rang 30 minutes before to let me know he was coming and was very informative. Although I hope to never need to use these again, I highly recommend. Brilliant service from start to finish. Thank you”

“I was impressed with this company. I was worried about seeing mice in the house, and mouse droppings near the children’s toys. I bought some mouse traps that did nothing. I called The Pest Control Co and was told that Derek could come around within a couple of hours. He had a good look around, and we discussed options that were likely to be effective and safe as there are children in the house. He worked quickly and efficiently. I was really impressed. I have not seen a mouse since he came came around. Thank you Derek.”

“Had a potential rat issue under the decking that was driving the dogs mad. We called PestControl and Derek arrived to sort the issue. Very professional and clearly knows his stuff when it comes to pests - I learnt a bit about rats in particular! Would definitely recommend.”

“I was very impressed with The Pest Control Co. as a whole; they came out on the same day that I called them, which was after needing to wait a week for the local council appointment (not ideal when you've seen a rodent in your kitchen!), as well as coming out on the same day a week later when I had need to call them again. Derek was brilliant, he was knowlegeable and very helpful, and gave me some good advice. I am, obviously, hoping not to have to use the company again, but if I did need pest control, they will be the first company that I call!”
