“My bed is beautiful. Great quality and worth the cost. It arrived within the time frame given and was worth the wait. It was well protected even though the courier had bashed the box it came in.”

“I love my Clarina Low Footend bed in Glossy Ivory. I was a bit nervous deciding on a staple piece completely online so I reached out for clarification about the colors. The high resolution photo I received in response was very helpful. Estimated delivery time was 10-12 weeks to USA. At 10 weeks I requested a status update. A prompt reply indicated the bed would be dispatched within days, the tracking information quickly followed and the bed arrived by the end of that same week. My husband and I assembled the bed with no issues. It is high quality and looks lovely in our guest space! I am delighted that I found The Original Bed Co. I would definitely buy another bed from them.”

“From our initial enquiries with jamyang who answered all our questions to the delivery of our two single Timolin beds with mattresses we couldn't have had better service. The instructions to put the beds together were easy to follow. We also opted for the under bed storage drawers that have been a great addition. The beds are excellent quality and everything we wished for.”

“Our second purchase (and our daughter bought from here too)! There is a lot of choice; the bed frames are fantastic quality, mattresses are super comfy and everything looks great. Terrific value for money - particularly the bed frame. (We had the bed assembled too, which was also great service). Recommended!”

“In summary, my experience of The Original Bed Company is as follows: Ordered a bed which came in good time. The slats were affected by mould to various degrees. Contacted Original Bed Company via email and provided photographs and also explained I have an allergy to mould. OBC sent replacement slats. Replacements slats were affected by mould to various degrees. I contacted the OBC via email, provided photographs and requested the bed be collected and a refund given. In returning the bed, I had to package all parts up and wait for it to be collected. Repacking the bed took hours. In having to repackage the bed, I was exposed to the mould and experienced distressing symptoms which lasted a number of days. In having to repackage the bed, I had to purchase tape to secure the box properly and clingfilm which I wound round the boxes in an attempt to prevent mould affecting me and to protect the carpet from the packing boxes. I would not order a bed from this company again for fear of once again, receiving a substandard item, having my health undermined and loosing money.”

Hi Charlotte, Many thanks for your review. All of our slats are heat treated at high temperature, and then sealed to ensure that the wood is completely sterile and mold can't grow. That said, we fully take your concerns on board and I'm pleased you were able to make use of our no quibbles return policy.
