“You revcieved the key on Monday I have heard nothing no phone call no anything very poor service”

“Locksmiths able to replace locks with previously used one, selling them as new all embraced by the MLA! Happened to me, elderly pensioner of 75 years old, living on my own. I got my money back, but would I had no money to call another locksmith then I would had to keep my door with the knowledge somebody else, somewhere has the keys of my home! The MLA disposed of me accusing me of being unreasonable! I dont need your money, dear! I want YOU, MLA, to inforce the rules so we, the little people, know we are safe in our own home!”

“At my cost I posted my LR FL2 key to The Master Locksmith's it arrived next day at their premises and the said they had fixed it and tested every function and returned it to me at my expense. When I got it back the car would not open or close with my key, it could open boot turn on welcome light and car would run with key in slot. I contacted The Master Locksmith straight away I was asked to send it back, they assured me they never send out faulty key, at my expense I returned my key to them I am still waiting to hear from them. As a service not very good”

“Phoned for a immobiliser problem, ie new key, ask them to come out. No phone back . Phone another company the following day 20 minutes turned up .all sorted. Obviously carnt be bothered. Look on auto lock Smith see my fantastic review. Don't bother with this company.”

“Placed my order, and then had to phone to ask what to do next. Sent my key off registered mail. Received an e-mail telling me my order was complete. No sign of my key yet. Hopefully, it will turn up and my view of Masterlocksmith may improve. But to this point, I have no idea why I gave them my money, as I have received no service.”

“Unfortunately this service didn't work for me. After the fob went through the washing machine it was OK for a couple of days and then stopped opening the car doors. I sent it to the Master Locksmith and it was returned the next day, but the fob didn't hold a charge. I sent it back to them and this time they took a little longer, but again I was told it was repaired and it also had a new battery. Now it still doesn't hold a charge for more than a day or so. I've taken it to a local repair shop. Update: The local repair shop replaced the battery. I've attached a photo of the one they replaced...the one that was supplied by The Master Locksmith. It doesn't look new to me.”

Hi Alistair, Rather than leaving a negative review why not get in touch so we can help resolve your key issue. We do not send out keys unless we are fully satisfied with the repair and we test all keys fully before sending them out. The fact that the key still does not work with your car will indicate there is another issue either with the car or the key system. “Sent keys and MB ignition unit off, returned a week later with a replacement key, refitted the unit, inserted the key, and......nothing.....phoned the company and was told I probably needed a new ignition unit. All told cost me £160 for a new key that doesn’t work.”

Hi Anthony unfortunaley the review you left us makes no sense at all, we can repair all keys but in your situation you put a screwdriver through the casing and damaged your chip inside the key, you actually cracked the chip in half so when this happens it is not repairble and a new key is your only option. “Bad customer service, paid for key to be repaired, sent on the monday got it back on the saturday with no note to say what they did or if they did anything. Not sure if they even bothered to look at it as it came back exactly as i sent it and what a surprise not working. Beware thankfully i got my money back via paypal.”

Dear customer I have checked your order and unfortunately for you the key you sent us was not repairable as it is not a genuine Renault Key. It is a very bad aftermarket replica with a very cheap and bad circuit board which is not repairable and will never be reliable. You should have received a letter regarding this and explaining your refund entitlement, if you didn’t I apologise about that. As you can see from our 1000+ positive reviews we do actually bother to take a look at all keys sent to us. I understand you are annoyed still because your key is not working as it should but your only option is a new key card programmed to your car. This has to be done locally to you. If you need any more help or info regarding this please let me know anytime, I hope we can be of assistance should you ever have any other car key problems, Thanks, George (Note: we run a no fix no fee policy, your order was in line to be refunded)
