“Stay Clear of these Cowboys.
My Son being young and nieve, Part Exchange a perfectly good A Class for a bigger vehicle due to starting a young family.
He was fooled into buying a Nissan Qashqia from the dealer, the Qashqia was over priced and full of problems. My Son test drove the vehicle a noticed some faults which he pointed out. He was promised that these issues would be rectified prior to purchase.
He was then fooled into signed a finance deal before even collecting the car, and the finance deal went live almost a week before he even collected the car.
Once he collected the vehicle, and drove away within less then 5 hours he noticed that the Panaramic Roof had a massive crack in it, this was covered by the shutter inside the vehicle so wasn't easily noticed. The passenger seat was ripped, the leather gear knob was pealing away, a badge was missing from the alloy wheel. My Son took the vehicle back straight away the same day and pointed out the issues, he was promised they would rectify the issues.
This was back in June 2023. And he is still waiting for these issues to be rectified.
They also sold the vehicle with no Log Book, and have continually lied to my Son saying they have applied for one, despite DVLA saying no application has been made.
They Fortified the Finance Deal by over pricing the Qashqia to cover the shortfall on the finance owed on the A Class.
My Son is now paying for a car that's basically a piece of S**t, and due to the extortionate price hike on the finance deal he is stuck with the vehicle.
Strong advise to stay clear, of this Dell-Boy style company, who Lie continually.”

“As I really picky customer who wasn't anywhere near 100% sure what they wanted Ricky and the guys at The Car Shop were really patient, listened to my criteria and were really helpful in identifying the right car at the right price for me.
There was no pressure, prices were very fair and they were happy to discuss obtaining cars that weren't in stock.
The stock they did have was varied with a range of prices and the aftercare offered sounded very good.

“I don't like leaving a 1 star review for companies and always believe in giving them the benefit of the doubt and chance to rectify a situation - Over a month later I am still being put through this ridiculous and unnecessary situation. I agreed to buy a used BMW the salesman asked me to trust him, sign all the finance paperwork and agree it and he would get the car ready by tue-wed the next week for me. I contacted Monday to arrange the collection day and was told that the car needed a new clutch and would be ready Wed am for me. Wed am I asked for a time to collect and was swerved all day until 5pm when I was told it had now failed an MOT. Thursday they said they would repair the defects and I could collect at 4pm. I made the almost two hour drive to be told the car still wasn't ready at which point I lost patience. They said I could take it for a test drive but it had a warning saying less than 5 miles petrol in the tank, No trade plates were put on the car and it had no tax, insurance or MOT so I declined to drive it and said I didn't want it. This was a month ago now - after speaking with Chris the owner hey agreed to unwind the deal - TO DATE NO MONEY HAS BEEN REFUNDED TO THE FINANCE COMPANY. This means the finance company cannot close my account and I am about to have to make the first payment on a car I have never owned or driven. The broker and finance company have chased the Car Shop Strood multiple times to no avail so now I am paying for a car they are trying to sell to other people on their website still with an increased price and lie about the mileage which is almost 118k not 100k. BE CAREFUL with this company they seem to have some very shady business practices - Either give me the car and compensation for the stress and wasted time or refund he money to the finance company this has become a ridiculous issue for me to be wasting time on day in day out,”
