“Just turned up and was given excellent help, parked in disabled persons bay and was greeted with a staff member who asked how they could assist. Large trolley was sourced and my journey started. Could not fault the help and advice that was given in my over an hour visit. Easy checkout, all done on my METRO bank card (No Silly Fees) and everything loaded into my vehicle. Wonderful staff and great shopping experience.”

“Hello to all of you who read this review. As a committed customer to Calais Wine we urge you to show your support for an excellent team and a company who are facing an uncertain future. If you can self-isolate for 14 days or are able to work from home then show your support by taking the Eurotunnel to Coquelles/Calais and purchasing as much of their products as you can, before you cannot. We visited today, our 22nd trip in 5 years and the service, the wine and the prices are as they have always been, superb. Our support and yours is needed.”

“Because of the coronavirus problems this was our first visit for some time. The day before we were due to travel, our car developed a fault and we thought it best to change to an alternative date. Calais Wine made all the arrangements to book the following week with Eurostar, but during that week we decided to change the car. Again, Calais Wine were great, and made all the changes for us. When we got there, I was suffering from a bad back but the chap on the checkout wheeled our barrow out to the car for me. What a gentleman, and what good service from this easy to deal with company. I wish them every success for the future.”

“Great store with lots of good quality wine. Regularly visit here when we buy wine in France. The people are really friendly and when we visited last time, we booked a shuttle trip free of charge with them but decided to alter our dates so phoned them and they changed the dates with no trouble. Were really impressed.”

“Always a very good experience. The trip runs like clockwork, all booked by Calais Wine Store. Our order is always ready for pickup and the staff are extremely helpful. They booked our lunch for us at the Bistro de la Place and as usual we had a wonderful lunch. Thank you all.”
