I am very disappointed. I paid extra to secure next-day delivery, then took a day off work to be able to fit the battery when it arrived. The delivery note stated it would arrive the next day, but this did not happen and no communication was made to explain or give notice of this. As a result, having lost one day's work, I then had to use a taxi to and from work (Kirkby to Woolton - just under £60). Given that your mission statement claims that your firm has 'one simple task': "to deliver the right new car battery at the right price directly to the customer - Fast!" and you failed to deliver a battery from Skelmersdale to Kirkby, I would be very reluctant to use your firm again or recommend you to others. Disappointed.

Still haven’t received my battery after paying for next working day delivery. Ordered it on Saturday 25th November and says it’s going to be delivered on 4th December

At first I was I was impressed with an email first thing the next day apologising for for not having the battery I requested and offering an alternative. Then I wondered how with today's automated stock tracking could an online company allow you to purchase stock not available. Assuming my battery would arrive the next day, I waited and waited until 6 pm and emailed why my battery had not yet arrived, the tracking link showed the item had not even left. no response. Nor did they respond to the next email the next day. It finally arrived 5 days later. No communication, no way even should this company profess to deliver within 24hrs, they don't have the infrastructure, wou;d not recommend at all, and would not user it ever again. My plans to get the work done were ruined and wasted two days waiting for this fake promise to deliver, 95% guaranteed - i'm in the midlands and it took nearly a working week.

I wrote to you that I had just missed to enter my discount code after I ordered my battery within 2 mins. I sent a message about that. But I never received any reply. I had called immediately couple of times and left a message but never received a reply. This is not good service. I was told I would get my battery the next day but it arrived a day late with no sorry. Not a good service from the company

The battery I ordered that was recommended for my GS turned out to be slightly bigger than the existing one even though I had checked the measurements to be fair they did recommend this saying that I think if you recommend something it should fit managed to get it in but it was tight.

Battery needed ASAP. Paid for next-day delivery. After payment notification appeared saying that ordering after 3pm nullified next-day delivery. I ordered at 3:20pm. The order was made on the Monday. I emailed the sales team on Wednesday afternoon as the battery still hadn't been delivered requesting a delivery cost refund if the battery didn't arrive that day. I didn't receive the battery until Thursday. The packing was damaged and wet and on opening the box the battery was covered in water. Still no response from the sales team. Only reason I'm not rating this service as 'very poor' is that the battery was undamaged and my vehicle is finally up and running.

Communications were almost nonexistent. Apart from the transaction notification from PayPal I received nothing from this vendor to confirm the order, which was a bit worrying. Also, I specifically paid extra for Saturday delivery to ensure I would be at home to receive the battery. However, it was delivered a day early when I was away for work. Luckily there was somebody in to accept the delivery, but I could have selected the free next day delivery instead.

I’ve bought car batteries from the Battery Guys on several occasions over the years and got great service. Unfortunately on this occasion I bought a battery online and was notified that it had been dispatched. This was followed by a further note with quantity “0” in the invoice and the money paid was refunded immediately to my account. I presume that the dispatch note was sent and the warehouse then found that it was out of stock but no actual explanation was given. I then got a battery with a 3 year guarantee from elsewhere locally for £2 less.

Sorry Guys, I have not got a response to Email informing you of possible damage by your delivery agent dropping the car battery, damp in the box etc. No Guarantee or receipt in the box, not even an email receipt or guarantee. The only positive point is you managed to deliver in 2 days despite poor weather conditions affecting your area (so I heard on TV).

Payed for guaranteed next day delivery, waited 6 days for the battery, I am aware of the postal strike but 6 days is a joke. Asked for a refund of my £2.50 delivery charge, received £2.00, used their online chat, were not helpful. Used them as it was a better option than big retailers, lesson learnt will go for convenience next time. Very disappointed

Delivery let down by Yodel, 3 day delivery when next day guaranteed purchased. Battery Guys web chat not able to give accurate delivery information. Not great!

Sent a battery with the wrong size terminals for my car. Contacted and promised converters which never arrived. Contacted twice more via email and no reply. Ordered from ebay at £6.50 extra cost. Will not deal again.

I ordered a battery on Thursday with next day delivery and didn't receive it. Rang them up and they said either later that day or the next and refunded me my next day delivery charge. Its now Sunday and still no battery.

Usual product quality - have bought many batteries from Battery Guys and the service was always excellent - could rely on next day delivery. This time delivery was unexpectedly slow. Ordered battery Friday, it was not dispatched until Monday evening and delivered Tuesday evening. Couldn't wait, so bought one in a local caravan shop (for same price)
