Tescos double pricing is a rip off. We have the app on our phone as they no longer issue cards, twice now the app wouldn’t work so we end up paying more, absolutely disgusting, why they have to rip off people like this I don’t know, but it certainly won’t happen again as we will never use Tesco's again, and I’m sure more and more people will get wise to this as time goes on

Unreliable and failed to show up with my order , only when I called them did they realise they’d had a problem with processing payment and their only remedy was to ask me to reorder. Unacceptable and inadequate customer service.

Tesco Extra Walsall is a great store. They have fantastic staff, who go the extra mile for the community they serve. They have helped a local primary school by donating equipment, helping children learn about growing flowering plants and vegetables. Thank you!!

3 items out of date. 24 cans of 7 up, most of them leaking. Why should I take them back for a refund. At least asda don't expect you to do this.

DO NOT BUY ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH FROM TESCO i have bought two electric toothbrushes from my local tesco in Bedworth a few days ago. at the checkout i did ask the cashier if i could return them if i did change my mind and she said that i could just keep my receipt. when I’ve opened the first box i realised that the charger does not have a UK plug so i could not charge the toothbrush therefore i repacked the item in its original box, did not open the second box and tried to return both of them in store. but to my surprise i was told that i could not return toothbrushes and that's Tesco's policy. when i asked why didn't you display a sign either on the box or on the shelve to say that and inform customers before they commit to buy a none returnable item she, in customer service looked for about 5 minutes for a printout that was hidden out of sight behind so many other papers and said here it is. i asked to speak to the manager, but the manager repeat the same and said this is our policy. i feel like my rights were violated, i should have been told that this item could not be returned and should have given a choice to make the right informed decision at the time of purchase, is this even legal?

Abuse to 71 year old mother by Tesco security member of staff My mother visited the Woolwich branch on Sunday 26th February. She joined a long queue at the self check out to pay for her goods in enough time before the store shut at 5pm. On scanning an item on the self check out it became apparent that the price was higher than the shelf price tag. She asked a member of staff to check the price as it was incorrect. He informed her he couldn't go and check it. By this time it was nearly 5pm. No staff made any effort to resolve the problem so my mother made her way to the pet food isle to check the price again. On doing so, the store security guard told her the store was closed. My mother informed him she was going to check the price of the product and asked him to come with her as there was no one else in authority to ask. She showed him the product, the price that was displayed on the shelf and what she had been charged on her receipt. He was adamant she had it wrong. When she tried to explain to him it was definitely incorrect, he became aggressive, she was met with verbal abuse not help. He would not see the pricing error despite my mother pointing it out to him - he was shouting and raising his arms which my mother found very intimidating and upsetting. No member of staff came to her aid to find out what the issue was, instead they stood watching like it was entertainment. The security guard then walked off, still shouting and my mother asked a member of staff to see the manager, but was told there was no manager on duty. She managed to finally get a member of staff to check the price. At first they were adamant that my mother was wrong but once they could actually bother to double check the receipt against the shelf price they realised that the charged price was indeed incorrect. My mother was then told to come back the next day for a refund! This is not satisfactory customer service, especially as this is a pricing error by Tesco. Pricing errors happen a lot in this store. I appreciate pricing mistakes can happen but its the way that it was handled that is highly unacceptable. There was NO customer care or service. A staff member called Mahadi decided to give a refund, however his attitude was presented like he was doing a favour by giving a refund despite the error being no fault of my mothers. As she was leaving the store she asked the security guard for his name - Devid (or at least this was the name given) and he became aggressive again, shouting and in close proximity to my mothers personal space. At this point a supervisor arrived and asked what was happening. My mother tried to explain through the security guards shouts and the supervisor told him to walk away. Once the supervisor could see how distressed my mother had become he informed her that the security guard would be spoken to. However, I have no faith this happened. This whole experience was deeply distressing for my mother and it left her in floods of tears. I am disgusted she was treated in such an unnecessary way and the way the situation was handle is extremely unacceptable. My mother had done nothing wrong yet was made to feel intimidated, vulnerable and was given no customer support. No customer should feel like this shopping at Tesco. A formal complaint via email was made to the CEO of Tesco about the above. A reply was received from Mhairi Duncan-Scott (Customer Service Specialist) to say it would be looked into by the store manager. Despite requesting an update, months later there has been no further reply / response. This just goes to show the disregard and contempt Tesco management have for their customers! We will no longer shop here.

The delivery service is unreliable. Seldom comes within the slot and often just cancels an hour before delivery. Last time I intend to use them. Asda much more reliable.

Our delivery driver is called Jai. I normally get my delivery on a Sunday morning. Jai is an absolute ray of sunshine even on a rainy day. He puts my bottled water in the hall just where I can easily pop in the cupboard. He carries the rest to the kitchen for me and helps me unload the trays. He’s so full of joy and happiness by the time he leaves I can’t stop smiling. Thank you Jai!! Tesco….you’ve got a diamond here in Jai!!!

Tesco delivery is a joke! They have never delivered food home twice , as delivery was rescheduled due to no staff. And still drivers have an attitudes about bringing it to your doors. This is ongoing Issue not once only.

I was spoken to very poorly by 2 members of staff - when i asked them why they were speaking to me this way pointed out in a very calm manner that this is not the way to speak to customers they threatened me with security and even said we’ll have you barred from the store - i had done nothing wrong. I felt so humiliated. I raised a complaint with the Manager and head office and to cut a long story short they really were not interested. Basically we can do whatever we like and you’re just a nobody. This was the Tesco store in West Bromwich in New Square.

Purchased a cup of tea and a cake from the cafe at your Bishop Ukland store. Couldn't find any white sugar so asked at the counter onnly to be told the cafe had run out! Why couldn't the cafe get a bag from the shop floor? Very lazy and very poor customer service.

I made an online purchase, to be delivered on Sunday. It was never delivered, I called customer service, they apologized, they refunded the shipping costs and told me that between 3 and 5 days they would refund the amount to my current account. In my Clubacard app it appeared as delivered. On Friday, and because they didn't refund my money, I wrote to the customer service WhatsApp, and they texted me that in the deposit they forgot to make the refund, I complained because 5 days had already passed, and they told me that they would make the refund this same day. The day after, without a refund, I wrote again, and they tell me that I have to wait 3 to 5 more days. What rubbish company is this?. this is a robbery, no other supermarket charges you for a purchase until you receive it, and Tesco does it, bill you for the purchase, or keeps your money unless you claim it.
