“TechSilver - very good. They responded very rapidly to a question I had about a product. However, the reason I needed to contact them was because I had bought a High Visibility keyboard which was described as suitable for iPad and PC. Unfortunately, the keyboard layout makes it unsuitable for use with an iPad unless two of the keys (shift-2 and shift-') are relabelled. Even more annoyingly this thing cost over £60 - the exact same item with normal keys is available from many sources for under £20. They offered a refund, but I will first check with the intended user to see if they can cope with the discrepancy between the key labels and symbols displayed.”

“TechSilver offered an invaluable product in the care and welfare of my father. The ShoeTracker is simple. As a dementia sufferer, he could get confused and wander off. During the earlier stages he could be erratic, emotional or bored but able to perform tasks of habit, such as putting on his shoes unassisted. He would unwittingly equipping him, us and at times the police with a reliable & accurate location tool via a browser. Simple to fit, you can set alert zones around the vicinity of the home (limit their footwear choice). Support from the firm was exceptional. Health workers marvelled at the concept. At best, it could save a life but at the very least the ShoeTracker will give the carer a needed degree of comfort knowing the wearer can be found, providing a calmer caring environment. As long as the product stays up with technology upgrades I would strongly recommend the investment for dementia sufferers and their families.”

“The keyboard was for my husband who has lost a lot of sight in his left eye post stroke. He is VERY pleased with it. The big black letters are unmissable against the bright yellow keyboard. The product page mentions that the device can only call 4 devices and as the device does not have a keypad, we thought this was clear, so apologies if it was not. “I purchased the TechSilver Pendent after my wife, who has dementia went AWOL and I had no idea where to find her. After receiving the pendent and a bit of experimenting and useful and patient help from the TechSiver technicians Miles and Aaron the pendent and I are now "good friends". My wife went missing again on Friday and I didn't panic but used the App and found her half a mile away but safe and sound.. Thank you TechSilver. Recommendation:-Do not bother with the Silver chain, its too delicate. I have used an old security tag chain which looks OK but is much stronger.(See blow). Also it would be useful if a "find" button could be added to the app as my wife hid the pendent in a drawer and I could not find it.”

“Simply one of the best keyboards I have used. It’s excellent value for money. Great keys for typing, and has very clear lights on the caps and number locks buttons, which many others lack. “I initially had help from Aaron, whilst I was in Australia, on the best watch for my needs to get for my wife. After some deliberations I decided that the GPS watch was the one, as I did not need to more expensive watch at the moment. And it seemed that two way communication was better on the GPS watch too. I had trouble setting up the watch because i got in a muddle with registration. However, Miles put me straight and was very patient. His video is excellent; well presented in a calm manner. “I ordered a "Big Letter Keyboard For Visually Impaired (Black)" along with standard delivery. Delivery was extremely prompt; it arrived after just a few days that included Sat & Sun and it was in perfect condition. I have been using it for only a short time but it is ideal for me - I am partially sighted due to Macular Degeneration. The high contrast white on black keys are just the job. Although I retired many years ago, my present volunteering roles require much use of MS Office applications and so of particular importance to me is the fact that it is a full-size keyboard. The TechSilver website was very easy to use, especially the checkout procedures. I say this because I use a personalised high contrast theme in Windows 10 and I am surprised how difficult it is for me to use some websites, even major ones!”

“Having lost a great part of my sight, I became unable to read my standard keyboard. Yes I can buy a magnifier for the PC, but still I need to type. I went to Tech Silver as they had a variety of big buttons keyboards. Not knowing the characteristics of these keyboards, I found the chat part. This was such a bonus. I had the privilege of talking to the staff of Tech Silver. We engaged in a very natural and fruitful conversation. I didn’t know whether black letters on white background would be better than a yellow background. The experienced staff advised me black letters on yellow background to have a clear view. I needed the keyboard fairly rapidly to alleviate the lack of vision with a comfortable keyboard. The staff suggested a variety of fast delivery modes. I chose the reasonable 1 or 2 days. I did receive the keyboard within a day. I’m so pleased as the keyboard could be plugged in a usb slot. I had actually a bit more difficulty in taking the plug from my old keyboard. The change was instantaneous. It’s very easy for me to distinguish the big letters. I have recovered my typing speed. As a partially sighted person, I benefitted from the price without Vat. I would like to recommend the efficient way the staff dealt with my query on the chat part. Every step from choosing the keyboard to buying it and booking the most efficient way for it to arrive at home were made smoothly. I’m writing this review with the keyboard. Tech Silver has improved my life greatly and with kindness which is soi much appreciated. Highly recommended for efficiency and genuine warmth.”
