“Got this for my 96 year old mother who doesn't own a mobile phone so this tracker is perfect, attached it to her keyring so I know where she is when I'm at work over 20 miles away.”

“Thank you Miles for providing a solution to a real world problem. We’ve only been using the tracker 2 or 3 weeks and already its saved our bacon twice. My father takes the dog for a walk and sometime during his normal route he’s become disorientated and wandered off course. No longer do we have the stress and worry about where he is, how do we even start to find him. We fire up the app on our phones and withing 15 seconds we can see where he is, which way he’s travelling & then decide if we need to go collect him. The Geofence feature is great. We gave it a week to understand my father’s normal day to day routes. Set up a geofence on the outer perimeter of his walks & now we receive notification alarms (on our phone) if he’s crossed this virtual perimeter. We can then monitor in real-time and either (hopefully) watch him head back home or if he is heading in totally the wrong direction go collect him. As previously mentioned we’ve only been using for 2/3 weeks and already it’s been worth every penny. If you have a loved one who suffers from this dreadful disease (dementia), but they still like to be as independent as possible. Then this solution from TechSilver could be your answer. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone who could afford it.”

“Tracker is excellent! I have already recommended it to the Dementia Care team who are also impressed. We have 4 family members connected so prepared for every eventuality of my husband, Jon, going missing! Had a little difficulty setting it up but spoke to one of your team who was very helpful and solved the problem. Jon has also tested out the SOS button so that gives him reassurance that he will be found if he loses his way. Thank you for a great piece of technology which gives us all peace of mind.”

“We bought a TechSilver tracker watch for my son who has Downs Syndrome, after a scary incident when he missed his bus home from college and we lost him!! the tracker watch was perfect, It was linked to my phone so I could see where he was all the time and could call him if need be. “I bought a Keyring tracker for my Mum who has Alzheimer’s and has on occasion wandered away from her home. The instructions are very clear with short films to explain each aspect of the tracker and the app. It seems to be working ok so far but the battery life hasn’t been quite as good as I had expected.”

The battery life can be impacted by a number of different factors including how often she leaves the house and the frequency of the updates. “Purchased the tracker when my mother's dementia worsened to the point where she was becoming confused and disorientated when she went out. “UPDATE - NOW I GIVE THIS LITTLE TRACKER 5 STARS !!! Only had this a short time hence the 4 stars but so far all seems good. Easy to set up and a neat size. Been using for a few weeks now and it definitely does the job. I'm able to see where my partner is and has been which is a great help as he has Alzheimer's. So now I give it 5 STARS !!!!!!”

“Observations 1.confusion in the dark between red button and silver button. 2. Didn't realise that to operate must depress red button for a few seconds. 3. To overcome finding button in the dark it is the same side as the lanyard”

The silver one needs something thin to press it in, this means if you have a finger and thumb on both, only the SOS will activate. The reason it needs a few seconds press is just to avoid false calls. “Not impressed so far have set to hourly update and still needs charging daily and that's without any calls made. Today received SOS call, tracker saying mum at home whereas I know for a fact she is 50 miles away staying with my sister for the weekend. If this was a real emergency I would be going to the wrong location!”

“The large keyboard has made a massive difference when working on my computer. I have Macular Degeneration in my eyes and could not see the letters on my normal Mac keyboard. The built-in light also makes a lot of difference. Thank you, but it needs more publicity with the Macular Society so that more people know about it. Mine has yellow keys with large black letters.”
