0 Star. The service provides by this company is very poor and it does not worth paying them even £1. All services mentioned on the it's website are not true.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE .... let me set your expectations for this company. They are really BAD!!! Where to start 1. they immediately sent me an email saying Id paid for the lowest service when I hadn't . - alarm bells should have started, but any one can make a mistake 2. I gave them my CV prior to my telephone conversation and it was clear that the CV writer hadn't read it 3. CV writers L** emails were full of spelling mistakes 4. First draft came back which he said I would be 100% satisfied with, it was full of jargon, information was untrue and not in my CV, full of duplicates and my qualifications were wrong, English was terrible. the only good thing was it looked quite nice. 5. Second draft not much better. 6. Put it through another companies ATS system it scored 52% Taylor CV said it was 92%. 7. it took ages. three weeks although Easter was in the middle. 8. Finally when I read all the reviews which I should have done first I gave up - it's clear I won't get any money back from their satisfaction Guarantees and I have a job to find. YOU LIVE AND LEARN - NO ONE CAN WRITE YOUR CV BUT YOU .... and this company is not worth paying for it . Very disappointed!!!

I paid for the gold service 2years ago to have my CV, Cover Letter and Linkedin profile professionally written. I worked with the assigned writer and they delivered a completed package in 2weeks. I wasn't actively looking for a new role, but when roles came up I wanted to apply, about 4-5 jobs a week. After a few months I never had a single call back? I reached out to Taylor-CV who said I need to apply for more roles and recruitment was slow at the moment?? I continued and over a year I didn't get a reply? But this point I was concerned over the money that I had spent for a professional service. I have since written to them 5 times and always told the same story, they show no concern that maybe my CV was not done right? I used online services and reached out to 3 top CV writer services to be told my CV needs a 'lot' of work, the grammar was poor, the structure and concent needs a lot of work?? I was even told this by 3 recruitment agencies when I reached out to them. Now I can understand that these companies want my business.... but having no success in the job market and being told this by other agencies and Recruitment companies leads me to believe the service just wasn't right, and I didn't get a professional service from Taylor-CV.

Terrible customer service, I had to apply for a job with a near deadline and they never met the turn around time that was promised. The writer was meant to be a professional but used some business keyterms in a teacher's CV!!!their drafts had lots of punctuation and grammar errors that I had to ask them to correct. They even put the dates wrong on the drafts. They gurantee 100% customer service satisfaction on their website which is a massive lie. When I contacted their complaints department, it took them ten days to email me and to simply say 'it is what it is, like it or not' . I DON'T recommend them at all.

0 Stars! Basically the same comments as everyone else here. The service was poor, the delivery was poor and the changes they did to my CV were just formatting. I feel completely duped and I don't know how these scammers are still in business. I'd say it's because there is subjectivity surrounding whether their end result is better than your original or not, so they can argue they've completed the work, even if you're unhappy. They didn't do the revisions they promised and they were rude, unhelpful and dismissive. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I feel totally stupid about having been scammed by this company. The CV that they created was basically a copy of the one I provided to them but pasted into a different template and bulleted differently. It proved to be totally ineffective in comparison with what I was using previously and generated ONE interview within four months or so. I referred it to them but was told that I was outside of my consumer rights window and therefore they would not be refunding me. Moreover the person who wrote the CV just added two three different words to the original document and nothing else. Despite the fact that their web site advertises that they would make up to three major amends they refused to do any whatsoever. Please save your money and create your own document as opposed to paying to an easy money making machine. You can download a CV template from pretty much any web site on the internet. There is also plenty of free advice on how to word things in terms of achievements and value add and structure of the document. Please do not do what I did! I felt that they sent emails using bot names and adapt patronising attitude when you refer issues to them. Please, please, please avoid! They have made me feel like a ripped off fool...and I guess I deserve it. Extract from how they tried to help me with strongly advising how I should feel about them: 'I also don’t want to see any more references to TCVS or myself not being “decent” or not helping you when I have been in constant communication and am offering you extensive advice and access to the VCC worth £99.99. I would like to highlight that you keep referring to the CV being not what you paid for... the service was fully delivered and you had 30 days to let us know otherwise and have 14 days from first draft to have unlimited amendments completed. I am not helping you under our 100% money back guarantee or our 100% satisfaction guarantees. You are not eligible for these guarantees.' 'Thank you very much for your email. I really wish you would try to understand the assistance I am trying to provide. It truly is becoming impossible to help you when I am having everything rejected or thrown back at me. In terms of achieving 1 interview request - that is fantastic as the CV is passing through the ATS or you would never have even achieved an interview in the current climate if it wasn’t. ' 'Thank you for your email, I hope that you are well. In terms of the email below, I don’t want the tone to be lowering and for our relationship to break down as I will not be able to assist you. If you want for me to assist you then you don’t need to keep trying to challenge me or my advice… if you don’t want my advice then don’t come to me for help.' 'When it comes to a job search, the CV is not the main aspect – especially at the moment. The CV is perfect, I will be giving you 1 months access to our Virtual Career Centre so that you can learn more about how to tackle the unadvertised job market, establish your routes to market and also gain the contact details of decision makers in companies so that you can conduct direct applications.' Above are quotes from their professional communication.

The CV is not bespoke. It's a copy and paste job with duplicate, generic words even in the short profile section. The writer does not have knowledge of the industry. The impression during the phone call is that the writer works in a busy office and is pressed for quantity and not quality. Maybe if I had enough patience to spend ours telling them precisely what needs changing after each draft I would get somewhere but then...I might as well do it myself. I thought I was paying for an added value. Also, read the terms and conditions carefully. You pay for promises and if they are not met you will not get a refund.

Avoid at all costs... This company openly lies and falsified emails to me, I have the evidence of this and would be only to happy to share, the c.v was of a poor standard and little time was spent on it by Taylor CVS I paid for the gold package, the first copy sent Friday around 5pm had a number of mistakes the second copy received at around 9pm still had missing information, Taylor CVS imply the spend a lot of time writing the documents sadly the properties of the word document tell a very different story.

I sadly have to agree with the previous review from "Sean". Taylor CV could not have contacted me quick enough once I'd registered my interest in their CV writing service. And like Sean, they were keen to sell me their "Gold Package", consisting of CV writing and a new LinkedIn profile. Unfortunately though, once they had my money the slick account management ended. After waiting for over a week for my CV to arrive, to my dismay I noticed that there were a large number of spelling errors and typos - included one on a section header, it included new content that wasn't in any way relevant to the sector I work within (so much for their claim that CV's are written by industry experts), and layout wise the writer clearly had used a "off-the-shelf" template design. After some backwards and forwards with my assigned CV writer, I ended up having to fix these issues myself. Not in anyway acceptable given that I was meant to be dealing with an "expert" copywriter. Now I had my new CV in hand, I waited to receive my new LinkedIn profile copy that was sold to me as part of the package... I waited.... Then I waited some more. In fact, now a month later, I've still not received this. After many emails (none returned) and several calls, I've been told that this continued tardiness is due to "email issues". I find this very bizarre as when I contacted them from a separate work email address posing as a new customer, I was bombarded with emails pitching their service. To add insult to injury, after 2 weeks of using this new CV I've not had a single call back. Not even a LinkedIn connect. I've now gone back to my "old" CV and am starting again to have some luck. Frankly if I could rate them 0* I would. Avoid.

Absolute Rubbish Cowboy Company I had my CV written by Lee Jones, it was the gold service. The CV was late, and when I emailed to ask where it was I was told it had been sent (this is a trend) The CV had typos, additional spelt Addioanal among others The margins not set correctly (Response "The 2nd bullet point does fit on the page, I admit that it does extend a bit further than the other sentences however I have re-aligned this one point for you.") LinkedIn profile written too long. Before you part with many cash, if you still want to, read the guarantee very carefully Quick update After an email conversation where Cecilia Richardson told me she was brutal I had this response Hi there Sean, Our complaints policy is located within our Terms and Conditions. All calls are recorded for quality and training purposes. I will no longer be communicating with you, we will have a formal response sent directly to your address. Have a lovely day. Cecelia Richmond Note the all calls are recorded, I've opened a case with the ICO Note we will no longer be communicating with, guess that will be the end of my unlimited updates and CV satisfaction guarantee. I will let trading standards know

Carol has been absolutely fab. From start to finish... the communication has been wonderful and she has managed to take the vague information i provided and produce an articulate and professional document. I have no doubt that my new CV and covering letter is going to work wonders for me.

I am a returning customer, they did a fantastic job on my CV. I purchased the CV service 7 weeks ago and received an interview offer for a Monday. I returned for interview coaching which was completed by Bill. I completed interview coaching last week on Friday and found it very helpful and I felt fully prepared for my interview Monday. Thanks to Taylor's and Bill, I am now starting my new role as Operations Director in January. Cheers guys! Highly recommend.
