“Following storm damage to a premium tent was advised by Taunton that the tent could NOT be repaired and was sold a new tent as we were on holiday at the time. On return found out from Outwell that the tent could have been repaired. Despite several emails Taunton Leisure denied I was given incorrect advice and profited from selling a new tent with no remorse. Absolutely disgusting and Will not use again. (Taunton please don’t bother replying to this as you have had several opportunities to do so privately and any reply will only be for the public perception).”

“Their system is unable to take orders outside UK. Bought a jacket & next being rejected. The money refunded to me even had 4.7% less! If you are not UK residents don't knock their door. One star is already too much for them for my case!”

“They don't package things correctly and actually accept when items are squashed to the point of being unusable. I was told there was nothing wrong with my slippers when they went sent out in a plastic bag, no box and are squashed beyond all recognition down the sides - it's essentially collapsed to the point it's horizontal down the entire length of the slipper side and they are ruined. Normally this wouldn't be so much of an issue but I purchased these directly prior to foot surgery and instead, as a result of this, had to go barefoot. When I contacted customer service not only do you get an error message when you try to reply to the email rendering it impossible, but I was told in the initial email I got from them that from the pictures that was how they were meant to be. The pictures are nothing like the ones online! It's absurd and I won't be using them again, ever. I wasn't able to wear them when I desperately needed a pair of slippers, so to be told that's how they're meant to be when they're squashed and deformed and look nothing like the pictures online is just a joke. The pictures show the slippers as they should be versus the ones I received. They are nowhere near the same.”

“Next day delivery or NO DELIVERY! Even I pay for it! Paid for next day delivery with a small note that I am leaving the country, so it needs to be "on time"! Never delivered & blamed the courier company not even intend to make it up even though I gave them few options! They messed up big time but never admitted it. Be careful for xtra devilry charge as they do not meet their commitments and u may end up being blamed or else!”

“I visited the Taunten branch for a pair of Altberg boots and was met by Bill. He performed the best fitting i have ever had for footwear which took over an hour. Everything I thought I knew about my feet was useless until this visit. I shop online mostly as costumer care is sometimes intrusive in stores. But here you get the 5 star treatment and would recommend anyone in the market for new boots or advice.”
