Stupidly, I paid Swoggi £50 and started to bid for an item using their Bid Robot. It was not clearly stated on the website that each bid costs £0.50 and the bid price increments in £0.01 steps. I soon realised that my chance of winning was minimal but by then my bids had cost me £25. I contacted them to close my account and was informed that closure would cost £15. In an hour or so I was down £40. I am still waiting for the £10 refund! DON'T GO NEAR THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY. They must be making a fortune from these dubious practices.

This is a scam site, beware and dont fall in to the trap, i clised my account on the 20th of jan and still waiting for a refund and have been receiveing emails saying i'll only get my refund if i clise my dispute through paypal but they wont refund my money or they wouldn't be any dispute, complete scam site and needs to be closed down to save innocent people the hassle and grief when they've been scammed, very disappointed in the non customer service and hopefully paypal will get me my refund as i have emails to prove there in the wrong and they don't practice there own terms and conditions. Swoggi are a total scam and a complete ripp off , every pound the the auction price goes up Swoggi earn £50.00 , if you paid by pay pal you should open up a claim against Swoggi , even if you don't get your money back , pay pal might disassociate them selves with Swoggi .

Absolutely gutted I never read the reviews on any sites before I fell for this rip off which was on the sky sports app, how can sky and msn let these con men use their sites to blatantly rip off their own customers? Your all an absolute disgrace! Avoid the swoggi scam! If it sounds too good to be true it is on this occasion don't make the same mistake I did

This company is cheating to people. I cancelled my account at the beginning of NOV and they said I have to give 15 pound for handling fee or something. I cancelled it , I got the reply that my credit 31.50 is remained. I thought They are going to refund it, as I cancelled my account. I waited checking my account waiting for refund. At last I contacted after 4-5 weeks after the email . They said I didn't reply the mail that they told me about my remaining credit. So they are going to charge me another 15 pound handling fee or something. They hold my money and they charge me for using my money. I asked them to refund it right now the remaining credit. I am waiting . I hope they will refund my rest. I was cheated by this company. I company is cheating people. Some body or the Law should punish them.

This is a con I fell for because Swoggi appeared as a recommended site for buying cheap phones in some silly newspaper. You cannot win and each bid you make earns them money. I am trying to get my money back and will keep you informed. Should be banned.

I have been watching the Swoggi auction which should have finished on 30th November and today is 2nd December., for every £1 bid made by a potential buyers makes swoggi £50 ( 50p x 100 = £1.00), at the moment the item has a £60 bid this means Swoggi has made £3,000 (£50 for each £1.00 increase in the bid x 60 = £3.000) and the item is only worth £518 what a scam. Each bid is 50p x 100 = £1.00 increase in the bidding,so for each £1.00 you buy you get 2 bids, so if you purchase £100 of bids you only get 200 bids this equates to £2.00, because 100 bids increases the auction price by £1.00 Again what a scam

Stay away from this site. It was recommended by a money expert idiot and I like many others fell for it. This is not an auction site it is a extortion site. They manipulate the times and individuals lose money as they bid. STAY AWAY!!

Swoggie is a great big rip off. DO NOT even register. I 'claimed' my supposedly 'free' credits, registered, which included updating my Pay Pal details, and found out this morning they had charged me $50. This charge is not on my PayPal a/c but on my credit card a/c. STAY AWAY from this outfit folks....they are septic.
