“After premature failure of an e-bike shimano battery (I have read that they are cynically over engineered to prevent repair) I had to buy a replacment and this was the cheapest I could find. Barny Swinnerton was helpful in assuring me that the battery was a direct swop for the old one brearing in mind that the images shown on most websites have the battery in its frame not bare battery as supplied.”

“Pre-ordered an FC-TY501-2 46/30 to fit onto my road bike as I’ll be tackling some challenging climbs (for me) soon. I think the chain line is different to the compact chain ring that was on before, but there is enough adjustment in the derailleur to cope. Delivery from Swinnerton was fast once item arrived in stock and the chain ring is exactly what I was after.”
