Item took longer than anticipated. Had to call to ask why it was taking so long and when I would receive it. Person I spoke to didn’t know why it was delayed but said I should get it by the end of the week, which I did. Would still buy from again, as price was good.

Price was very reasonable for what I was buying. However, the shipping was not good at all. It took 3 days before it was shipped. I ordered the Sunday night and it was shipped Wednesday evening. The courier company (DHL) were awful. So bad that I changed it from home delivery to pick up from store as it was obvious they were making up the fact I was not at home when I very much was! This changed the date to after the weekend and I missed being able to use it. Next time will pay a bit extra and buy it from a store that has a better shipping and delivery plan.

Tried to contact sales team through online process several times but nothing. Eventually spoke to a member of staff in the store who as helpful though. Bought a Ritchey Logic frame that was not cheap and so surprised to see the box was still open upon delivery ?

Bike was delivered on time but did not contain instructions with how to fit the front wheel or how to adjust rear breaks that were sticking. This information wasn’t available online either for this bike brand. It would be helpful if this information was made available as not everyone is a bike maintenance expert.

Email confirmation was late. When I emailed them chasing an ETA I had no reply. The part arrived two days after the email. P&P for small low value items is expensive. In my case my then the part value.

Took a while to despatch i had to phone and chase the item. When it arrived the manufacturers packaging straps had been removed and replaced with wire ties.

The item was wrong listed,and when I contacted the company they apologised fir the error and asked for the item to be returned and the item I requested shipped. I Return the item to be told that the item I had was the same as the one I ordered, not correct. However refund was immediate and so was returned postage.

Good stock availability and good price. However, they use Yodel as the delivery partner. So the item hasn't arrived...

Purchase process was fine. But I had to return the item (no fault of Swinnerton's). I couldn't find the referenced 'returns form' on the website, so I rang them. The gentlemen I spoke to couldn't tell me where it to find it, but I don't hold that against him. However, you know when someone wants to try and help and you know when someone's tone of voice means they don't. Unfortunately he fell into the latter category - I was made to feel I was hassling him. On the upside, the refund was issued quickly.

After breaking my Trek mtb’s derailleur hanger I ordered two replacements, unfortunately only one arrived so I had to contact Swinnertons who sent the second a week later.

Swinnerton are a great bike shop and carry a good range of high quality bikes and parts. However, C19 seems to have driven them to be not really want people visiting their stores. They definitely aren’t embracing opening back up. Perhaps they believe that online only is their future.

HI Thank you for your comments and i just want to explain our position we are only a small team and if we get one staff member come infected the whole business shuts, which means we can’t operate and we can service customers & their bikes as well as sell online. Our priority is to keep all our staff and customers as safe as possible and although a lot of people seem to think that sine the 19th July the world is back to normal, Its not! Locally in the past 2 weeks 2 local bike shops have had to close due to staff members catching Covid-19. So we are being cautious in our return to normal operation but we are also still at 60% the normal stock depth that we normally carry so browsing is restricted as areas of the shop are now holding boxes rather than show room space as we are having to purchase in bulk to hold stock in what few bikes we have. I hope this answers a few of your questions and by no mean although the online business is stronger than ever our bricks & mortar shop is still our priority to deliver the best customer service.

Description of articles in website not comprehensive. The latter results in big $$ losses for clients who are burdened by the shipping costs.

Ordered a part. Phoned a week later to enquire status. It appears that they might have forgotten to send it. It was quickly despatched and arrived the next day.

Great to have stock. Bike arrived in a timely manner. Packaging was well below expected standards - the bike was able to move around, rattle and rub against the insides. No apparent damage but it was lucky.

The bike arrived around a week after we had ordered, fair given the current covid situation. However, it arrived with zero protection in the box/against the frame and I'm amazed it wasn't damaged in transit. I've never bought a bike before that's arrived like this. Also, the gears were not set up properly (Eagle), so that's taken further time and expense to sort. We would much rather have a well packaged and setup bike and waited a few more days for it to arrive

got my first hardwear as expected how ever the second one which I ordered sepretly as didn't think I need it at the time was meant to come a good few days ago so I put a request in and got told it was lost in the mail so they ordered a new one from there supiler which they should of got money so hopefully ill receive it today as that will of been 3 days since they got it in that I'm waiting for dilivery

The product was received as ordered, but it took several days after I made the purchase for the order to be processed, and a similar item that I ordered on the same day from a company in California, USA actually arrived via airmail before the item from Swinnerton was received! The options for delivery time in the question below allow me to choose from 'within 5 days' or 'more than 7 days' - it took 6 days.

Although the SRAM 44t chainring is perfectly adequate it’s a shame it’s not the same as the image provided. I could have brought the item I received cheaper elsewhere but chose this one because of the aesthetics. Using it my bike now as needed it for a ride and couldn’t wait on another.
