“I was a bit sceptical about how much I'd be able to achieve in 3 months but decided to give it a go. Prior to, I had spent the same period of time at my local gym adult swimming classes but still couldn't swim independently without a float. Monika (Nottingham) took me through the basics of different styles before I settled for the front crawl which seemed more comfortable. In 2 months, I was confident enough to go it alone and by the end of my 3 month contract, I was back to the gym not as an adult learner but a full fledged swimmer even though I am still developing my skills. I would recommend the 1 to 1 lessons as it's a cost effective way to get going faster as an adult beginner.”

“I'd been with Swim Now for months before Jo eventually became my teacher.
In the first class we had, she showed me how to do the breast stroke, and by the end of that 30-minute session, I was able to do a full length in that style. Prior to that, I'd been unsuccessful with every stroke for months and months, but in one session Jo had changed all of that.
Jo has the experience and eye to spot the smallest thing that may be holding back your progression. I had roughly six sessions with her in total, and by my last class, I'd learned how to do a full length of the front crawl. I'm certain my swimming journey would've dragged out for even longer without her attention to detail.

“Jo teaches my daughter and son, both at different levels so not easy. Previously we spent £100's on swimming lessons for my son, they had him at level 4. We went swimming on holiday and he totally panicked, he couldn't swim. My younger daughter has always been nervous of water so she needed to be with someone she (and I) could trust. They've had about 8 sessions with Jo now and love it. However starting with Jo in the pool, on a one to one basis he has made leaps of progress. Jo has a wealth of knowledge - teaching the strokes and breathing in bite size chunks, she is patient, kind and has excellent relationship building skills which has been seen with my 8 year old in the pool. The price of these one to one swimming session is a lot higher than group swimming lessons, but in my experience to see your kid progress faster in 3 weeks as apposed to months of not much progress at all - it is worth every penny! “I can’t recommend David highly enough as a swimming instructor. He is kind, friendly and attentive to my sons (Josh’s) needs. We joined Swim Now as I felt Josh wasn’t progressing as he should do at the local leisure centre. From the start of the first lesson David asked what we wanted him to focus on each week so he could tailor the lesson to Josh’s individual needs. Since then, Josh has gone from strength to strength and completed his 400m badge which we would never have achieved at the local centre. But the main thing to take from this is that David makes the lessons fun, interactive and is very relatable. He is also professional and has endless patience! So much so Josh has never said he doesn’t want to go swimming! I can’t thank David enough!”
