“From initial online enquiry to delivery of the lessons the experience has been fabulous. Response was quick and easy, as a 58 yr old learning to swim was quite intimidating however I explained my needs and the assessment was easy and honest. The minute I met Sarah I knew it was going to be fun, Sarah realised my anxiety, immediately put me in a relaxed mood and we just got down and did it, by the end of the assessment Sarah had me gliding through the water with confidence, Sarah laffs with me and that too just relaxed me, she also explains things simply and shows you too. After 3 lessons I am competent at breast stroke and moving on to front crawl , still plenty to practice though. Again it would be easy to just drag the lessons out and take more cash but it feels as though the focus is on my skills and sculptured to my skills and not towards just going through the motions and taking my money. I now swim with confidence and don’t feel intimidated by better or quicker swimmers in my lane, really feeling the benefits of swimming properly too, feeling strong and fitter.”
“I’ve been coached by Ian at Gateshead for a number of sessions and feel I have progressed really well. Ian has gone into a number of drills to emphasis fine tuning of front crawl to make swimming more effortless and more fun as a result. “Abit expensive, but great customer service from the start to the end of the course with quality lessons. My confidence in the water improved drastically and I was able surpass my targets thanks to Nicole for the excellent lessons.”
“I had Ian as my swim instructor and I am very satisfied with where I am now thanks to him and the lessons. The lessons were very useful and really helped me gain confidence on the water. I got what I wanted and even reached beyond what I asked for and I'm very grateful. Their service is very fast and welcoming, kudos to everyone on the team. I definitely recommend doing some lessons if you ever want to learn how to swim, it is a bit pricey so try to get your money's worth!
Also they don't do the 'banking' lessons system anymore which I never had to use but yeah, be punctual I guess.”

He is an excellent instructor, as he is very good at introducing new skills which not only improve my swimming but also keeps the lessons interesting and fun. This is not always easy as I have a slight disability which means he has had to adapt some skills. I always leave the lessons looking forward to the next one. I could recommend Ian to anyone wanting to learn to swim or improve their swimming skills.”

“I had lessons in Nottingham with Monika back in May/June (I apologise for a late review). She is an amazing swimming instructor. I only had five 30 minute lessons with her but I made so much progress with my swimming. I never felt as confident in water as I do now! I went on a trip to Cornwall with my friends in June, and for the first time in my life, I felt confident enough to swim far away from the beach. I never enjoyed swimming as much as I do now.
