I recently purchased some hearing aids from specsavers in Barnsley costing £3997. Unfortunately I lost one. I went to re order another. Appointment was 20 mins late. There wasn’t a charger I hadn’t been told to bring mine. Re ordered went to appointment and it was the wrong colour it was £1497 for this one. I was really disappointed and upset. Audiologist was way behind not ready for me no charger. I was given appoint to swap the wrong colour one for the right one. A special trip for me when I got there audiologist told me it hadn’t arrived. I still don’t know why I wasn’t rang to say it wasn’t there. Very poor service specsavers so I was given another appointment. I finally got it sorted. I must have had at least 6 appointments very very poor service. I won’t be using them again . So much time and money wasted. Lack of communication very very disappointed

Excellent friendly and very helpful. Price Excellent for any pocket. Easy shop to access. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family. Collected my new glasses In super quick time.

Ihave my glasses for 11 months. Both pairs have developed a chip in the same place on both pairs, where the lens joins the screwed frame. I am told I have to pay for both. Yet, it has happened in the same place on both, doesn't see right to me.It strikes me there is an issue with them both

After my eye test. The 1st thing the lady said was 'the options has recommended lenses that cost £129. WHAT!! She needs to come with a softer approach. That got my back up. Money grabbing specsavers that's all i heard. I left with my blind self.

Absolute rubbish! Phoned stores 8 times today and after an average 20 minute wait each time no pick up. I have asked if the store has closed down! Absolutely appalling service at the Ilford, Essex store where you cannot speak to anyone and Head Office are just as bad. Have made my way down to another opticians today.

I’m still waiting for dad’s glasses, it’s going to be 5 weeks and paid in full. If you read there web page says 21 days so how come it’s not true and keep getting the run around. Phoned 4 times and no call backs as promised. Think this is an absolute waste of peoples time and money. Would not recommend them. As for dad well can’t read his papers and watch tv and at 89 that’s all he has really. Poor service.

Was expecting a home visit for my elderly mom with dementia today. Visit was booked between 11-1pm. Despite numerous calls I finally gave up at 3.20 and called to cancel it. No one had a clue what was going on and if you promise a call back then please do it. What a rubbish service.

Spec savers Bridport was excellent I saw a lovely young man who was kind caring and extremely efficient. I am not easily impressed but he impressed me no end as did the young lady who did my initial examination. 12 out of ten brilliant. Thank you Cheryl Reynolds xc

Time and time again specsavers Honiton don’t put the customer first. Never going there again after years of sticking with them despite the appauling experiences time and time again. Not just me - 2 other people I know also have bad experiences. Today was the last straw being told it’s illegal for me to buy my contact lenses online and telling me that they would cancel my appointment / give me their lenses to try and I should rebook ( which I had already said is tried historically and they didn’t fit my eyes ). Last visit before this I was talked to in a very rude way when I politely asked a simple question about my prescription. Another time I tried to book an appt and told I couldn’t as it was earlier than needed and would mess up their system! I could go on and on and many other bad experiences

The service is excellent, just as expected after many years in London.The team check everything and keep track of the results. Glasses affordable and chic too!!! I recommend 100% . My only quabble is that they are not in Malaga... Please open an office there too ASAP!!!!

I bent the frame on my glasses and took them into Liverpool Allerton Road Branch to see if they could repair them. The lady couldnt have been more helpful and took about 20 minutes to fix them. When I asked what the charge was she said no charge. Although they do have a charity which I have donated to. What a wonderful service

Staff are usually great, but I've been to three different places over the last 15 years and they rush you too much, and I've never had a pair that did what I told them I need the glasses for, the last time (keighley branch) I had to make them refund me.

I had a problem with new glasses, I went back to specsavers store, my claim that there was a fault with lens was quickly refuted. Subsequently I complained online and I was invited back to store for another look. Too late specsavers! If you fob off a customer, don't expect repeat sales, referral or any glowing review in future.

Worse glasses iv every had made. All I wanted was replacement lenses..but Purchased 2 pairs of veryfocals, tried them on and both pairs were out of focus, I couldn't see the shop across the street and reading anything clearcon the card they held up, itcwas a joke, they were completely wrong and couldn't see near of driving lenses in both sets for work snd driving. The man serving me was agitated flustered when I pushed back on just give me a full refund of £308. It's ridiculous the prescriptions were so far out of focus it was a waist of time.eighther the optician or the lab are needing tested for competence. I'd paid in part cash and card and the guy serving me said we have no cash in our till at 2.50pm on a Saturday. If we give cash refunds by card our refund team will go Nutts. Say what??? Anyway he asked and said I'll refund the cash by card. I'm going else where think £150 a pair is a rip off. He didn't say when I'd see my refund in the bank, was too busy trying to rebook a new redo of another eye test review.

I was served by Veronica today at Specksavers Cairns Central. I already had a script, we chose a frame, she went through all the details, health fund rebate, out of pocket expenses , best type of lens etc. Most professional and patient with every aspect of my dealings with her. Rude unprofessional staff. What should have been a straight forward repair to a very expensive hearing aid (stil under guarantee) turned into a horrid upsetting experience even to the point a member of staff called me a liar. NEVER will I used this company again.

New glasses out of focus - two pairs. Had a visit from specsavers representatine who said and I quote: Maybe you are not hold your head at a proper angle Suffice to say. I will never use Specsavers again, EVER!

Booked in for an hours audiology appointment 6 weeks in advance for new hearing aids as line are just about at the end of their life. The staff in the Aldershot branch are rude and useless. They couldn’t do the audiology test as apparently they only booked me in for a 30 minutes appointment and could kit offer me another appointment until the end of January at the earliest. My original appointment was the 22nd December. Asked for the head office address so I could write a complaint and they point blank refused to provide it. The audiologist herself couldn’t care less and was very abrupt and rude and said take it or leave it.

An utterly useless company. They advertise moulded earplugs in their hearing department, but all calls to Plymouth central and Marsh Mills resulted in "I'm not sure we would do that alone, we'll have to get back to you," which of course they don't. Utterly useless. Went to Boots hearing. they advertise something they don't offer.
