“It's been rather disappointing having been their customer for the past decade or so. I wanted Round glasses (size 55) and alas finally found the right size given my head resembles a caveman! Order was processed quick given I had a presentation to do and my old glasses were no good vision wise. I was very excited that my request was actioned upon and in a rush took them away. The very following day I realised they are the wrong size (52). So booked a appointment to get these sorted. Both members of team who attended us, made it out that we picked up the right ones and that there was no bigger sizes available. They insisted that we were wrong and they were right! It's a shame that specsavers franchises are not living up to there standards. Oadby store for instance wanted a hard sale and beaumont leys store practically branded us lairs! So much for loyalty and customer service! My only advise is take photos of frames lenses and breakdown of costs etc.”

“Very helpful staff. Will help customers select appropriate glasses and tell you the honest thing. I was hoping for thinning on my lenses but they said it's a lot more and frames will become heavier. So I stuck without thinning. Very honest and are not forceful or mention thinning is important to save huge amount. Highly recommend.”

“I visited Specsavers Audiology Department at Beamont Leys on 1/12/2023 for a scheduled appointment with Audiologist Jake Tyers. I spoke to Jake a week before my appointment. Jake was so friendly and extremely professional. He possessed good interpersonal skills and explained everything to me about the microsuction procedure for ear wax removal and the safety around the aspect that I have had a grommet inserted in one of my ears some years ago! Jake made my experience a positive one. It's even better now that my hearing is pitch perfect!! Jake, continue to do what you are doing "A Fantastic Job" Please pass my review onto Jake. “I take in Romanian and Spanish rescue dogs.I have 8 atm. Last week at 3am I had to part 2 dogs who were fighting. During this process my glasses broke. I took them back to Specsavers and today I collected them and they put on a new bridge and nose pads. They are rimless so quite expensive I can't thank Specsavers enough for their excellent and professional service, and no charge. THANKYOU SPECSAVERS.”

“I visited Specsavers Beaumont Leys recently for an eye test - I was greeted in the reception area by a very nice lady called Sonali who was very helpful, she guided me to the customer waiting area and took my details - she followed all the social distancing rules and made me feel comfortable. I had my eyes tested by an optometrist called Shakeel who explained everything clearly and went above and beyond because I had concerns about my vision, he was patient and very informative and has an excellent manner with customers. I then was helped again by Sonali who was very professional and customer focused. This is a very new and well managed opticians - the staff are all friendly and competent and the service is excellent, everyone who I encountered there was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Specsavers Beaumont Leys. Michael : )”

“the staff at this store are unwelcoming ,unhelpful & downright rude.they are all unproffessional even the optician greeted me with his shirt hanging out.the only member of staff who smiled was the guy who did all the pre tests.the customer service in this store is dire.”

“My experience with the Beaumont Leys branch is very poor.Not all but most of the staff are very rude when being spoken to, the problem I had didn’t get resolved until multiple phone calls with this branch. I stuck with them because the prices are amazing and I didn’t want the hassle of moving to another opticians because this one is local to me but after not exactly doing what they said they was going to do, I have now cancelled my membership. Such a shame! However they’re was a few individuals which were lovely and made me feel very welcome her name was lucy and a another older lady that helped me pick my glasses! Very good sales woman. Thankyou for you’re service! I hope you take this into consideration and hopefully turn this branch into a happy, healthy and positive environment for you’re customers! Take care”

“Do not take your glasses here. Dropped my glasses off to have a arm repaired that had snapped off .An arm of a different colour was fitted but was fitted at a angle pointing down about a inch when I tried to straighten this the lens popped out then glasses snapped in half .totally useless service”

“HAD TO CALL AFTER A WEEK TO INQUIRE WHEN GLASSES WOULD BE READY...THEY WERE NOT SUITABLE SO HAD TO TAKE THEM BACK...ANOTHER WEEK PASSED AND HAD TO CALL AGAIN....SERVICE IS APPALLING”

“I had ordered some glasses with new prescriptions but there was a mistake with the thinning option of the lenses. They eventually offered me the thinning price which I thought was a kind gesture. I really like the new glasses now. The staff at Specsavers Blackwood are always very kind and professional. Highly recommended shop. Thanks, Olivier”

“Despite complaining several times they had got my bi focals wrong they refused to put them right and kept telling me to 'tilt my head'. I have lived for a year with a line right across my line of sight. struggle greatly with teaching and stairs etc. Often have to remove the glasses to prevent headaches. If I bought a second pair for £80 then they would be willing to drop the focal line out of my line of sight. They got my glasses wrong. I kept telling them they were wrong. They should put them right!”

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! Horrible experience, some of the staff, including the optometrist, very rude and careless. Online booking system didn't work, I had to get back one week later. They make you feel NOT welcome at all and when I went to collect my glasses, guess what.... it's worst than it was before.”

“This branch are now too big to care. If a senior you are invisible. Impossible for them to apologise for messing up order. Even front of house manager had absolutley no empathy what so ever. Got refund, but no compensation for wasted journey of 54 mile round trip. Have used this branch before but never, never again.”
