“Easy transaction and goods arrived in the time advertised. I ordered the Marie petite straight leg trousers size12. They are a good fit except the length. Surely a 29" inside leg measurement is not petite but more a regular.”

“I find with all my trousers from Robel are so comfortable and easy to wash. So many good colours to choose from too. Thank you.”

“I ordered a second pair of jeans and thought I had ordered a different colour. When they arrived they were the same colour as the pair I already had. I have kept them but was disappointed that they were not the colour I wanted.”

“I bought the below knee Bermuda shorts having realised how awful I looked in cheaper shorts! The Robell ones are flattering in cut and style and very comfortable. So much better for a middle-aged lady! They are worth the price.”

The local shop had 25% off all Robell but didn’t have my colour or size hence bought online at full price but then had to return one. Very helpful customer service when I’d lost the return slip. “Goods arrived promptly and were what I expected when ordering. One T-shirt was supposedly a medium but was more like extra large on me so had to be returned. The repayment has been agreed but I am not happy with having to pay the postage as it is not my fault the garment was so large and not suitable.”

“I ordered a pair of black rose crop trousers as I have 3 other pairs of these in different colours but unfortunately, they seem to be a lot tighter than my other pairs. I did telephone Robell to ask if there has been a change in the material or design and a very helpful lady explained about there being a 5% tolerance in the fit. So I have ordered the next size up so I can see which pair are the best for me. I cannot fault Robell for the fast delivery service they provide.”

“As always I love Robell trousers. This time the sizing did not match my original regular size label. It said slim fit! After ringing So Simple I was told that it is the new way of labelling the trousers and although they felt tighter I decided to keep them as a very helpful lady said in time they would give.”

“I have several pairs of Robell trousers. I wear them all the time. My criticism would be that I would like a higher?/ longer rise. Also the elastic loses its strength. I ordered several pairs from your not very good colour chart only to be refunded straightaway because the colours were either out of stock or discontinued!”

“I ordered a Sunday jumper which is perfect. I also ordered Robell Rose Leopard Velour Pattern Trouser in a size 12 after following the advice to go up a size in this style. The trousers were huge maybe as much as two sizes too large for me! So, I've returned them obviously at my own cost despite reading the advice carefully.”

“Usual high quality of trousers but disappointed in the length! Short usually fits me perfectly but my latest pair is considerably too long! Will have to get them shortened. Any explanation?”

“Delivery was quick, Robell 3/4 trousers are a really good quality. I like them a lot and will buy more, the only reason for 4 stars is not getting a free returns process policy. With online, and especially with a brand I am not used to, then I need to order 2 sizes to check the fit. I ended up ordering 3 sets, keeping 2 and returning 1 at my own cost. I would like to order different styles, but won't due to their returns policy. I will now try and buy from a different Robell shop with free returns. For me this is the only thing that lets this company down.”

“Love these trousers/jeans and love this company. Delivery is always prompt and their customer service is excellent. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I find the sizing is not always consistent.”

“Love the styles and the varied colour/ pattern choices. Always get what you expect. Have used for months in the tropics with regular washing. Negligible colour fade, negligible shrinkage. My only small issue is with the stitching around the waist in the trousers. I have to restitch often.”

“Comfortable and versatile. Have several of the Marie trousers but this last pair I ordered were a tighter fit so maybe worth ordering two sizes in future. Shame you have tonlay for return postage but not expensive.”

“The jeans are a lovely stretchy product and good quality - but this is twice now I have purchased Robell and sadly on both occasions, I have found that I have slightly sized up from a 10 to a 12, but they have STILL been too small and had to go for a 14!! As we have to pay postage for the returns, it would be fairer to purchasers to give customers warning of this smaller sizing or at least offer to pay for the return, which has just cost me £7.65!!”
