“what went wrong, well a lot. firstly electrician put his foot through a ceiling in bedroom and didn't tell us before leaving, only noticed after he had left, the 2 idiots they sent to repair great big boot hole in ceiling had no tools so bodged it completely with filler and newspaper which has since fallen out. still get the hole. the electrician turned on system to check then turned it off again, forgetting to turn back on so for 4 weeks no generation at all. we were quoted that we would generate 3300+ for export yearly which after 15months we have produced only 2000 meaning projected income is over 30% less, when I asked them to check they sent another electrician who explained whole system is not set up correctly and no way to locate which panels arnt working, advised would all have to come off and start again, that was the last I heard from them, calls never ever returned, emails never answered, total shambles of a workforce and company is a total con. guarantees mean nothing, the figures the sales people quote are totally fictitious and the company has a total disregard for customers once they have their money. if the call you or your unlucky enough to come across them run the other way. thieving useless b'stards”

“Fitting went ok until the electricians needed to do their part. They needed to wait for bits, but no one told the local scaffold company who came and removed the scaffold as originally directed. Had to wait for scaffold to be put up again before electricians could finish the job. First Electrician that attended didnt have to correct tools, so we had a further wait until they could get someone else down. Was chased and chased for the satisfaction note, which I only sent AFTER all work had been completed. We were told as part of our contract that they would make the first 2 months repayments for us, but surprise surprise have heard nothing from them. Also would like to know about the feed in tariff and government grant but am being completely ignored. I have even tried on Twitter but getting nowhere! This company is all over you with phone calls until they have received the money and then you dont see them for dust!! Be careful!”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY April 2015, solar & green priced me £17,000 on a 10kw system after bargaining with them, we agreed on £15,000 for exactly the same items that was on the quote, they agreed so I gave them the go ahead, guess what the next day I get a call from there MD Ben telling me that there sale manager made a mistake and gave me the wrong price but he could give me different panels for that price so I agreed again a few day later I get a call from them telling me that for that £15,000 price they also can’t give me a the solar edge inverter also which was on the quote and if I wanted the solar edge inverter I would have to pay a further £2,000, if you work it out by reducing the panel make and different inverter you get a cheaper product for a higher price (smart way of conning people) at that time I didn't look at it that way I just told them to go ahead with it. Now a few weeks have passed I chased solar and green on a update asking them where we stand on the panels being fitted they replied that they are waiting for a response from the DNO still and it take 45 day to response so I waited called back a few times all I got was they are waiting on the DNO I also was told on one occasion that because of the 10kw system the DNO are checking if my 10kw electricity back to the grid can cope with the line, every time I was being fobbed off with lies and on the 7th Sep 2015 I get a call from Solar and green informing me that they have not even applied for the DNO 6 months of total bull from this company and yes I have cancelled my order now”

“Don't touch this company, they installed solar panels in march 2014 at a cost of £7,500.00 and to date we have not received a penny from the feedback tariff. We have taken our complaint up with Ben Rattle, unfortunately he fobbed us off for 12 months advising us he had done everything that he should of, he sent proof of registering our feed in tariff, which related to a totally different property. He now just never returns our calls, although funnily enough when we were purchasing the panels he was always available. We are in talks with trading standards..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!”

“Panels and inverter were not the ones that was on the quotation. These were just sent without any explanation. Parts were missing and the panels could not be fitted until correct brackets arrived. We were promised a monitor but they had not ordered it. Overall the service was very poor and I would not recommend this company.”
