We are very impressed by the service we have received so far. This is the first time we have booked with yourselves and anytime we have phoned we have had great service from whoever answered the phone. A special thank you to Andrew who dealt with our enquiry and subsequent booking in such a friendly and professional manner. We are impressed and would certainly recommend and use six star cruises again in the future!

Booking was acceptble, the staff on board relies too heavily on the client doing the research as to destinatio,n cabin configurations and ports. Staff should be absolutely transparent with the guest as to position/layout of laundry, staircases and staff entrance and exit in use 24 hours, your staff glossed ouver these details unless pressed.

I have booked three cruises with Six Star, and while i am reasonably satisfied I am a little disappointed more recently in some of the response times to requests for information compared to other companies I have used in the past. My time is valuable and I don’t want to spend hours waiting around for callbacks. While I’m not complaining, I just felt your response times are not as outstanding as your mantra would suggest, it was just ok. For example after calling about suite upgrades, I was told my concierge was busy but the consultant would send her a message to call me back. This did not happen so after a couple of hours I called again. Again, I was told my consultant was just coming off the phone and would call me in about ten minutes. After an hour or so waiting, I was about to call the cruise company direct when I noticed the consultant had emailed me rather than calling. This was frustrating as I was expecting a call back rather than email. I also requested information about drinks packages but didn’t think the consultant was particularly knowledgeable about this and actually got more accurate information online from the cruise company! As I mentioned, your service is OK but not outstanding so I’m only providing this feedback to help you address these issues. I do think your concierge staff are very friendly and willing to help. They just need to understand that your competition are always very quick in responding and I think this is important! It’s not always about price.

Booking was no problem 5* for that. But to only be told 1.1/2 das before travelling that your cruise is now not a cruise. Not happy. Unable to book anything else because of the time. Appreciate that water levels are not controllable but the problem did not occur overnight.

We totally appreciate how frustrating it must have been to have your cruise cancelled at such a late date. I can assure you that as soon as we were informed by Emerald that your cruise was no longer operating, due to the low water levels, we contacted you. Due to the very nature of the problem the cruise lines have been holding off cancellations as the situation could have changed had it rained sufficiently to operate the cruise. Thank you for booking us as we value your custom.

They were friendly and approachable - even if the required follow-through and care given / attention to detail was poor. Knowledgeable about the itinerary, but perhaps at the expense of other important aspects. I've learned that for complex inquiries you still have to take the initiative and do the due diligence and proactive work yourself!

The booking process excellent and prompt, however since booking a couple of small queries via email have not been answered, very disappointing - seems a bit like, you now have our money and now can’t be bothered to look after your customers

Poor booking experience. Wrote & tried to call MD in order to resolve problems. Received phone call in reply informing me that he was too busy to deal with complaints. The situation was eventually sorted by Kelly but left me with a negative impression of the company. Looks like a not too well trained sales machine.

In answer to your question "how was your booking experience?": We were not told to register with our cruise line so missed out on information. We missed a date to book excursions because it was in very small print right at the bottom of all the info under "special requests." It did not even add "book these with your cruise line not us". That sales/concierge then left the Six Star which did not have proper systems in place to help the next concierge who took over. So we had no useful information for a year. We accidentally found out all this and complained. Donna is now doing her utmost to undo the damage of lack of service since December 2020 and get our holiday back on track and repair Six Star's reputation with us. Through her senior management's fault she has an unenviable task.

Personable young man. At time of booking headline promotion "Case of Wine", Nil booking charge or credit card fees" Subsequently no wine as not above minimum spend. Thought the days of shoddy advertising was over. Won't book with Six Star again!!

The packages and cruises offered are really good value and the booking was fairly straight forward , However after booking and paying in full at the same time we then wanted to upgrade to club on a long haul flight. We were told we had to completely loose the flight bought and buy new flights. I checked this with BA direct and found this to be untrue and was able to upgrade direct with them for a fraction of what Six Star Cruises wanted. Beware if you want to change anything. Staff should be better trained .

Very personable gentleman who assisted in the booking process. Booked during the July "Sale Period" promising nil credit card fees, nil booking fees and Case of Fine Wines. The case of fine wines has not been forthcoming. Apparently below a minimum spend requirement although no such statement was evident in the advert. Below the belt really. Therefore simple remedy - neither I or my friends who spend a considerable amount on cruising will book with Six Star again.

usually use Donna who is very well informed but we had Laura this time and she is not as well informed on the ships etc and is not "visa trained" so could not even tell us if we needed avisa for cuba. Donne would have known exactly what we needed. k

Inaccurate booking of balcony cabin which was already booked! Now awaiting possible cancellation of other current similar grade. Our attraction for this particular sailing was on the basis of acquiring a balcony cabin.

We have been required to pay 150 x 2 to upgrade our VIRGIN air ticket. This is despite awaiting the quote from Elaine last week and sending two further reminders to Andy Freeman on Tuesday of this week who was booking us for a further cruise in February 17. Its the failure , because the tickets had NOT been issued at the time of our request and Elaine quoted 950 each , however, due to this cock up we landed up paying 1100 each. Had we not already have booked our second cruise this year with Andy I doubt we would have continued using your services. As you will note after changing to you we have been good customers who have never complained previously. A letter of complaint has been sent to VIRGIN copied to your company.

Our Holiday experience was good. Six star however made the experience difficult. From day one the concierge was good but unable to make contact again. Had to chase and chase for the tickets. Communication was difficult with long waiting times to get a reply. Hotel was poor. Pick up service excellent . No airport support as agreed and no communication with cruise operators regarding special occasion as agreed.
