I paid £19 for quick delivery that did not happen on the agreed day. I then needed to call them a few times to work out what had happened. The first order had got lost, they ordered a second which arrived on time, so all was well in the end, but it took some effort.

Hi Christian Thank you for the feedback. We are really sorry the parcel didn't arrive on time as planned. We send thousands of products by courier and just occasionally the odd parcel goes missing. As soon as we were aware the parcel had not arrived we immediately sent out a replacement whilst trying to find out what happened to the first one! Our main concern was to not inconvenience you any further hence why we didn't wait to try and find the first missing parcel! Again, apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regards James

Product seems good and want I wanted - I will be able to judge better once my kitchen is fitted. But having paid £23.95 to get delivery on the day I wanted, it didn't arrive after we stayed in for the whole day, and I had to wait in the next day instead so couldn't do what I planned to do. Despite emailing about a refund of my delivery charge I have heard nothing.

After finding that my original order for a kitchen pull out tap had a 4-6 week delay, and seven proposed substitutions were also out of stock - finally came up with a replacement after numerous telephone calls and chat lines.

Hi Mr Stenham Thank you for your feedback on the recent order. I would just like to clarify the situation. Each product on our website has an exact delivery time frame shown. This time frame is specific to the option select and therefore as an example - chrome might be in stock but brushed might be on a 2-3 day delivery etc. In the case of your specific coloured tap it was on a 4 week lead time. We did look to find you an alternative and we did speak to you on numerous occasions whilst we tried to find a suitable alternative. With over 13,000 products available online, we looked through at least 10-12 alternatives that were possible options. In the end we did find a suitable alternative and as a gesture of goodwill we upgraded the delivery to an express service, free of charge. We appreciate the occasional item can suddenly be out of stock due to a sudden uplift in orders but we did do everything we could to quickly find an alternative that was suitable. Went to collect from their York store; however, the Unit states KAD group not Sinks-taps. There was no sign for directions. The tap is faulty, having a small drip.

Dear Mr Burns. Thank you for your feedback. I have looked into this further and can confirm the following findings. Our address (Blenheim Road) only has 5 building on it so its not usually a problem for most customers to easily find us. In fact there is only one building that has dozens of pallets outside with kitchen sinks on them. This is usually a clear sign to most people that this might be the sinks and taps people. However, at the bottom of the road there is normally a sign saying KAD (this is the name shown on all our invoices and emails). Due to current building works, this sign has been broken off by a lorry. However, you called us on the day of delivery from the Industrial estate and asked for directions. One of our Customer Services team (myself) directed you over the phone to the bottom of the road (approx 200 yds) and explained you just need to follow it to the right and we are the first building on the left. Whilst we appreciate it would have been ideal to have the sign in place, unfortunately we are not in control of the delivery drivers and their reversing skills. The second issue relating to the dripping tap - One of our technical team called you this morning to go through the issue. We had not received any notification from you, prior to you leaving this negative feedback. Unfortunately he was not able to continue the conversation as you decided to put the phone down on him. We have attempted to call you back on numerous occasions but the calls are being terminated at your end. If you do require any further help or assistance, please call us on 01759 307262. We are always more than happy to assist.

Really pleased with the actual goods, however really disappointed with the delivery service. When I ordered, it said 3-5 working days, in fact it took 7. When I chased it up I was told I only had standard delivery so it would arrive when it arrives, not good service

My initial experience was very helpful and i was guided through which sink was going to suit my needs, however i ended up purchasing a sink from Wren as the designer has dropped one into the design. I returned because of helpful team and ordered a tap. The tap had issues and when i called to chat through i was asked to carry out tests that a plumber would need to do, saying it was manufacturers requirements - and it didn't appear they wanted to help. I contacted the manufacturer with exactly the same information and they immediately sent out a replacement tap. Good start disapointing ending.

The tap we got for our kitchen was good but the quality of the sink was not as good, it was a very thin steel and we had no choice but to fit it as the granite fitters were booked in. Make sure you choose a high grade steel.

Hi Kathleen. Thanks for the review. We have double checked the sink you purchased and it was high grade 18/10 steel and 0.8mm. This is quite a good specification and also the main bowl is also coated with an insulation material making it even thicker than most. Undermounted sinks do look and feel a little flimsy before they are fitted but we can assure you the product you have is very good quality and is backed by a manufacturers Lifetime Warranty.

Very pleased with my granite sink, it arrived on time and was exactly as described. The only complaint I have is that there were no care and cleaning instructions with the sink.

I have a concern about the performance of the boiling tap recommended, and after a week I have had no response to my email. Hoping they are not just great sales people and they as just as good in the area of aftercare?

The shower head works well but it came without the sealing washer and filter, which I had to remove from the old shower head and which fortunately fitted into the new head.

I have given sinks-taps a "normal" because of the length of time it took to get my sink. Otherwise it would have been good or very good. The sink itself is really good and I am very pleased with it, but I had to wait ages. I understand that this is because it was a bespoke item and the factory took longer than stated to produce the sink. Despite this I am very pleased with my sink and taps and the customer service I received has been very good throughout.

Hi jean. Many thanks for the positive review and we fully understand that on this occasion the delivery of the sink was outside our normal 3-5 day delivery time frame. Sometimes when we run out of stock we are then restricted by the manufacturers production delays. I'm glad we stayed in touch throughout and hope you are happy with both the sink and tap!!

Fitted tap using qualified plumber had to call him back because tap did not stop where it should when turning off. he found cartridge had not been assembled correctly but corrected fault - hopefully the tap will continue to perform correctly

I was disappointed that upon my plumber fitting the sink I had purchased that the drainers were missing. However, when I contacted the company they were very quick to rectify the problem and put the missing parts in the post to me the following day. Mistakes happen and as inconvenient as it was the company were extremely efficient in resolving my issue. I would also like to add that they are very price competitive.

Good product but I thought delivery charges were a bit much. You cannot choose date of delivery & if you miss the delivery then there is a £45 redelivery charge

I find the wire basket very useful in my ceramic sink. However, I do wish it was made in stainless steel instead of chrome. The first basket supplied with the V & B Condor 50 sink in 2011 rusted badly. I purchased a new one in April this year. Limescale is difficult to keep off and little brown patches seem to appear on the sink which I clean off on a daily basis. Please Villeroy & Boch will you make a stainless steel basket for the Condor 50.

Having had a terrible experience with Bristan taps (spent more having them repaired than they cost) we decided to try yours. This was fine until we discovered that there was a grub screw missing from one of the tap levers. Your taps work well except that one of the levers is slightly wobbly. Perhaps there's no such thing as a perfect tap!

Found what I was looking for at a good price (Franke sink and taps). The delivery time was not particularly fast (over 1 week) and I would have liked a chance to have tracked my order to see when it would arrive as my kitchen fitter was waiting to install the sink. Also part of the overflow kit was missing from the sink, although the package said it had been inspected and was complete. It then took a further week to receive the missing part which was quite inconvenient.

Quick service. Good product. It was a bit disheartening to read a disclaimer next to tap saying that if there is discoloration on the tap that is normal and is just the property of this type of taps. Luckily the one sent to me had no such issues. However, this makes me think twice before ordering again (in a shop I can simply check and select one that is ok: on an expensive tap, the +20% price is worth knowing you are buying what you want).
