“Having a little known diesel engine manufactured I Britain in 1959, I thought the failure of the rear crankshaft seal would be the end of the engine. However a friend of mine pointed me to Simply Bearings and within 5 minutes of removing the old bearing I found a replacement that was not a metric equivalent, and at a very reasonable price. Needless to say I ordered it straight away. Three days later I had it in my hand. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case with everything these days work got in the way of me fitting the seal and rebuilding the engine, so I have yet to see if the replacement does the job. This is the reason I have only given 4 stars at present. I intend rebuilding the engine this weekend and if all goes well there is a high probability I will revise this review and rating to 5 stars.”

“Simply Bearings offer a comprehensive stock over the counter. Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful, although some of the younger staff members struggle with imperial measurements.( As is normally the case with most companies these days )”

“Quick delivery - essential for industry supplies. Plenty of stock for next-day delivery. My only gripe is for drive belts the choice is vague, and you never know what brand you might get. A small improvement on web listings so you can specify brands and this is definitely a 5star company”
