“The first image below shows a bread pan for a Morphy Richards bread maker, these pans are really well made apart from the bearing that holds the shaft that turns the kneading paddle. Eventually, they start to leak and seize up or the shaft falls out. The pans are available for £20 plus carriage but as I'd already bought new a couple of times, I decided to carry out a repair. The second image shows the pan with the old bearing that had been removed. Simply bearings supplied a new 8mmx12mmx12mm oilite bush to me within a couple of days for £2 99. New bearing fitted and up and running again within 3 days of ordering the part. Great service thank you very much.”

“You made possible the repair of a bicycle with a broken axle. The Shimano replacement was no where to be found, but you had one that worked perfectly. Thank you for enabling me to keep perfectly good products stay in service. We need to work hard to protect our ability to repair things, not just toss them and get new ones. It is better for communities and people because local jobs are created. It is better for our environment because constantly making new things creates waste and pollution.
