“We are very pleased with the end result. Delivery was prompt and when advised. The raw plugs were shorter than the screws supplied. The raw plugs supplied need to be the type that can sink into the hole and not the type that stays flush with the wall surface. Might be worth giving some advice on how to get the rail to line up with an existing stair rail. Its not like fitting level shelving.”

“I received my stair handrail on 10th May ,it was unacceptable. I contacted them the same day. They agreed to replace it ,and the replacement arrived the next day I am very please with my oak handrail. The service from them was first class from beginning to end.It was all sorted by phone and email.”

“As described . We bought the basic stainless steel one at short notice but it’s great , nice and strong , the plugs were a big cheep so I changed them but the screws were ok . The only problem was the first deliver was minus the bar which was lost in transit but one phone call and was re delivered on time”

“Excellent service the product is a high quality. It was well prepared and shipped in good time and when some damage was reported on delivery it was replaced immediately and on site within 48 hours. I would highly recommend the company. Thinking about continuous improvement one thing I would like to have seen would be b&m installation details and some recommendations for carer the product. The website gives details of care for stainless steel but not for wood i.e. what will be the best way to treat the handrail and finish it to give it a beautiful sheen, that sort of information is always helpful.”

“The rail and fittings arrived well-packaged and are great quality and value for money. The lack of a fifth star relates to the fact that the delivery company used by SimpleHandrails does not give details of the ETA other than stating what day the goods are out for delivery. This meant staying in the house until almost 3pm waiting. Surely, they could at least have specified am or pm?”

“the delivery was VERY quick and well packed the handrail is lovely. just a couple of minor comments: needs to be clearer on website that it comes in 2 parts if over 3 meters wished the screws were also black”

“An excellent product. Needs an installation sheet. Fastening screws and dowels sent with pack of no use when affixing to drywalling. Would benefit from a centering template for end caps.”

“would have given 5 stars but i ordered 2.5 metres and got sent 3 metres, no problem if you have an electric saw which i don't apart from that everything was fine and i am pleased with the handrail”
