“All went well with our move: more than sufficient packing material supplied, van & movers turned up on time, speedy but careful packing into the van, safe transport to Bristol, speedy & careful unpacking, no damage whatsoever even to plants - in all an excellent job. Highly recommended.”

“We used Simon Long very recently for our move and they were great- the surveyor who came out was very helpful and informative and gave some great tips, the ladies who dealt with our booking responded really promptly and were very friendly and the guys who actually did the removal were fabulous- a really friendly hard working crew who got the job done really quickly and efficiently.”

“The removers turned up promptly and set to taking the furniture out. However we had been told it wasn't necessary to take the clothes out of the wardrobe as they would just transfer from ours into their boxes. This turned out not to be the case, all our clothes were either stuffed into black bags or left in piles on the floors. Two of the under bed drawers had their runners detached and left on the top of the drawer contents. Some of the furniture was scratched, we didn't see this until after the men had left.”

“Excellent service and very attentive and patient every step of the way.The movers on the day were absolutely brilliant-couldn’t have asked for more. It is worth noting that despite two discussions about a narrow bridge 500yds before our new house with no alternative route,the wrong lorry by a very large margin was sent and of course it didn’t fit over the bridge,baring in mind it was also a two day and 200 mile move,so pretty hard work.The actual movers couldn’t have handled it better but it involved a lot of extra work and another night away for them.We got in the house on the day as planned but it was only because of the hard work of the drivers.So do your checking and your own research and triple check with the office with any similar details. I would still highly recommend despite this because they did what they said they’d do in the end and no harm came to anyone,just massive inconvenience to the crew.”

“Marcus and Brandon were not only efficient and helpful in the delivery and unpacking of my goods, but went above and beyond the service that I expected to receive by kindly offering to put my bike back together after taking it out of the bike box and finding that it had been taken apart. I would highly recommend this company.”

“Wow! From the very first contact, to the survey & quote (thank you Don) to the actual move, we couldn't be more impressed. The whole team were fantastic. The process for booking and paying was seamless (thank you Katie) and what could have been a very stressful time for us was made so easy by the team at Simon Long. I collected boxes to pack ourselves, the warehouse was neat & tidy, and the chap working there couldn't be more helpful lifting them into my car. On the moving day itself, a team of 6 smart uniformed lads arrived on time and introduced themselves with a handshake and a smile before explaining what to expect and answering any questions. The speed at which these guys work is astonishing, super efficient and handled everything with care including protecting our carpets and packing the lorries carefully. Good humour all round too, had a few laughs through the day. Thanks Tom, Rob, and all the team for working so hard for us. Unloading at the other end was a breeze and took just over two hours which is amazing. They were thoughtful and courteous about parking and nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank you all enough. The quote was the most competitive by far and I worried that this may be reflected in the service, but I needn't have stressed. I can't imagine paying more for a service better than this. 5 stars all round. Thank you so much. Tips for movers... It's been 12 years since we last moved so we weren't sure what to expect but here's some notes for anyone booking and a reminder for me for next time. 1. If you're packing yourself, then label EVERYTHING really clearly. The lorries weren't loaded by room (to balance everything safely) so you'll need good labels. I found a free downloadable set online. 2. Lable ALL the furniture too, it will save the lads asking you where stuff needs to go at the other end. 3. Label your new rooms on arrival. i.e. Bed 1, Bed 2, etc. It'll make life easier bringing boxes in. 4. Leave a kettle and few mugs out for teas/coffees, the chaps will definitely earn a brew. Not that they stopped work much, these guys worked solidly. Finally, thank you again everyone. I was blown away by the service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone wanting a top-notch moving service.”

“We were very pleased with the excellent service we received on our moves. The same crew moved our furniture out of storage to our new home and then 10 days later moved us from a top floor flat to our new home and they were great. We highly recommend Simon Long.”

“We found ourselves in a jam when our planned Removers were unable to help. Simon Long stepped in at very short notice and did a great job. They packed everything into the van safely and quickly and unloaded us the following day after a long drive. The whole team, from start to finish were excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.”

“We were only given 8 days before our moving date and everyone at Simon Long were brilliant from start to finish. Survey done next day, boxes to pack the next and worked all day to make sure we got in ok. From the girls in the office, surveyor to removal guys we were delighted with the service and would thoroughly recommend !!”

“Simon Long helped me through what turned out to be a complicated house move, which involved storing my furniture for several months, and delivering a chair and tables to the local vicarage! Nothing was too much trouble. I felt that I had their support 100% of the time, from the initial visit to the very last one to collect the boxes and set up the grandfather clock. Everyone I met was courteous and pleasant, so important at such a stressful time.”
