I ordered this item per the below and judged the "1st Class Royal Mail - Fairly quick, best used for smaller items only" at a premium of £6.95 for this item to expedite this part swiftly due to the nature of the issue requiring me to order this. Aware this was a Sunday, I expected the item to be dispatched quickly and this was unfortunately not the case. I received a notification late on Tuesday that this item was dispatched. The item finally arrived on Thursday. I feel that standard Free Delivery would have reached me in around the same time since there appeared to be little urgency given to the dispatch time on this occasion, so am jilted in opting to have paid an extra 25% of the item value for this service that has under-delivered on this occasion. The response was that had normal postage been chosen it would have been over a week to arrive. I can't accept in this day and age that this was an acceptable experience, given I paid a premium.

Easy to order and pay but thats where it ended. Took 12 days for the small posted item to arrive. Not impressed , there were 2 Public holidays but really not acceptable. Wont use again.

We supplied what the manufacturer stated is the correct part. We cannot speak to the fitting of the part.

Very nice to communicate with unfortunately Whitegoods would not send parts to Ireland so absolutely no good to me in the end.

Sadly we are seeing a lot of this just now with all that's going on; it's been in the news a lot, where makers' prices and transport costs and so on are being increased randomly and without notice. The part you ordered we can't even buy at the old selling price now. Unfortunately, it's something that we have to live with, all of us. And it's is completely beyond our control.

I placed the order on 16th of April and opted for courier delivery the item arrived on 27th of April, simply not good enough.

An economy courier was used, not a premium one as directed on the order that typically takes a few working days, dispatched on the 20th on Hermes/Evri. The carrier has taken from then to the 27th, two days of which is a weekend to deliver the package but sadly, we've no control over that,

No, we couldn't, sorry, because the part you needed was nil stock across Europe with all suppliers and a 5-6 week lead time which, sadly, we can do nothing about at all if nobody has what you need anywhere. Whilst we like to believe we're good at what we do, we don't have mystical powers to make items appear that cannot be found anywhere.

Refused to refund as part ordered had been tried to see if it fits however it was wrong size. so had to buy a new dishwasher Posted back but was returned.

Sadly that is a delay caused not by us but by both production and shipping issues in the current climate that are beyond our control. If we could, we'd have sent that part a lot sooner but nobody has it.

Well, it was a part that had to come in from an EU hub, not held in the UK and you did choose the slowest, free, shipping method possible that we do state clearly is 3-9 working days, so actually... that's actually not too bad. If the item was required quicker then a faster shipping method being used would have cut that time considerably but, that was your choice.

Pros: there was a response to my query, it was very prompt and polite. Cons: that response was useless. I had already spent considerable time reading about the now obsolete Tecnik brand (including most recently on the ukwhitegoods website) and already encountered severe difficulty in sourcing parts. Hence, at the point where I am emailing the company to make an enquiry about a specific part (in the expectation that, being specialists, they may be able to go slightly further in giving advice as to where I might be able to source the item), it is dissatisfying to receive a stock answer stating that the brand is now obsolete, parts are difficult to source and signposting me to a link to the very same parts of the website I had already read in detail a couple of months before. I also had reservations about the company's stated return policy on the website. It left me with the distinct feeling that returning anything (if it doesn't fit) and getting a refund would be made very difficult - just my opinion of course but it certainly factored into my decision not to pursue other spare parts for non-Tecnik brands on their website. My advice? If the part you seek is readily available on their website and you don't mind the unquantified risk of losing your money if you return an unused part because it doesn't fit, go for it. UPDATE: I have just received an email from the company showing their reply to my review. To be very clear, I did not and do not know which website my review will appear on, I was in fact initially emailed a request asking me to leave feedback on my contact with ukwhitegoods by something called reviews.io (no-reply@reviews.co.uk). I was somewhat confused as to why I had received that unsolicited email as (as ukwhitegoods' reply points out) I had not bought anything from their website. I have never before read any other reviews about ukwhitegoods (on any website) hence have no knowledge of what other people's comments might have been. I do not know what a special custom order item is. Might I suggest that ukwhitegoods alter their processes so that an automatic email (which, in retrospect, is what I assume the initial email inviting me to review their service must have been) is not sent out to people who emailed them a query but did not buy anything? That way, 'non-reviews' need not be encountered. I thought I was being helpful by leaving feedback (which had not even crossed my mind to do) at all.

Thank you for your non-review of a service we didn't and could not provide and the spurious comments with no basis in fact or experience. That is commonly known as libel, just so you know. You bought nothing, have no experience of returns and are merely reading some people's comments mostly about special custom order items that cannot be returned so, at best your comments are ill informed. And as you rightly point out, the brand no longer exists, they went bust over a decade agoso there is no information or any support for it at all, anywhere. As we explained. And as we cannot check and verify any pars, we cannot recommend any.

On our part, there was no confusion as explained in our replay: Hi Dave, On our part there was no confusion at all, that collection only option is by arrangement only hence the following message that was sent to you at the time: 17 Jan 2022 12:05:09 Processing Customer Notified You have selected collection only when placing your order, this means that no payment has been taken for your order. collection only is used when customers buy a part over the counter here in the warehouse in KIlmarnock. please can you re submit your order through the website, this unpaid for order has been cancelled Best regards

Incorrect item dispatched. Did not match the photograph on website and yet no return postage forthcoming. I'm now significantly out of pocket. Won't be using again; I'll stick to the manufacturers (I should have known better I guess).

Well, you did ignore all the warnings given on the part and didn't, as instructed check firstly. So it's a bit much to blame us for any failing when we were not afforded the chance to inform you. Had you followed the instructions there would have been no issue.

I purchased a oven element which arived not as described either by picture or sizes given. I did not see it said grill element but most other suppliers put grill /oven so thought nothing of it. On contacting white goods i was mailed several times in a most non helpful way. Stating it was non returnable. When questioned all i got was no no no. I put the case to paypal who sorted it out. The part was delivered promptly etc and looking at reviews i am sure this may be an isolated case. I do feel though more customer service needed. Sometimes as a consumer we may not see something you have written further down the screen.!!!
