The drivers have been the saving grace of shiply. The shiply service itself leaves a lot to be desired of. They lock you out from posting package weights and dimensions to prevent people from going around them, their algorithm thinks it's a phone number. This has caused a lot of communication errors with the drivers. I have contacted shiply twice about this issue and twice I have received an arrogant reply about following the community guidelines. Since they won't even recognize this key issue I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Experiences have been a bit hit and miss. Cost is pretty competitive but coordination with shippers is solely through the Shipley message system which is not the best. You need to be careful to see if the shipper wants cash on delivery or whether they request separate payment. Once we were asked for both!! Care of furniture in transit is not equivalent to removalists so make sure you or the sender wraps it well.

The carrier was great (Brandon @ Freight Dogs). Shiply the company was not very helpful, as a first time shipper, they along with their website provided confusing and conflicting information. Luckily the actual shipping company was great.

Shiply helps us get many quotes related to transportation. Once a quote is selected with paid deposit, Shiply doesn't diligently follow up on its progress - instead we've to work hard get things moving. We selected one service provider - who didn't even communicate for a week. Shiply helped us move to another transporter. This time things moved better and transaction has been completed. Overall it took 20 days to get the vehicle t destination. Not a great experience, but still a workable service.

Regretfully my bed and Mattress delivery to my new home was delayed by 24 hrs due to sickness This resulted in an uncomfortable night without a bed! Other than that the s were service and communication was good

Cuando ya he aceptado un presupuesto siguen enviando otras ofertas. Eso deberían de corregirlo, evitaría pérdida de tiempo a mí y a los proveedores que siguen mandando presupuestos

The system can be improved, most people submitting quotes didn't seem to know the dates being requested, I found myself having to answer the same questions that were part of the RFQ. Also, accepting a quote doesn't guarantee a provider can obtain a driver in time, yet you've already paid Shiply by the time you find that out. Shiply charges a considerable fee for this service, debatable if it's worth it.

I liked the process with Shiply however working with BAH Logistics was FAR from professional (they had high ratings). AFTER I chose them and paid the deposit they increased my price 40% and at that time it was too late for me to pick another provider as i was moving the next day. After those shenanigans they kept delaying the delivery. it went from Sunday, to Monday to Tuesday and then finally late Wednesday i got my car. The car has burnt orange leather interior and the driver left black greasy hand marks all on the driver door, the interior roof and hand prints all along the outside driver door and roof.

They’ll tell you what they want you to hear so they can lock you in. Then they do what they want to get the shipment completed with all disregard to your needs. Shipment was completed in the allotted time, but was way more painful for me than I was informed it would be.

Positive: Vehicle arrived on time! Negative: lack of communication. I had to reach out several times to get an update. I later learned that the vehicle had been outsourced to a different vendor, and hence the lack of communication.

In the end I found a perfect transport for my car but I am still waiting for the prepayment I did for a transport that did not happen. 97 Euros is a lot of money.

My experience working with Shiply hinged on the experience with the vendor. In my case the vendor was excellent, however, this is not guaranteed. The portal is not easy to navigate and the is little direction regarding the details necessary to have a mutual agreement with the provider. A customer using the site can not take anything for granted and assume that services provided by "standard" companies are being offered, because on this site there are few standards. It is a place they provide a match and take a fee. Customer service from the vendor, Ryan was excellent, not from Shiply
