I have an open complaint about a Speedy Transport booking that never happen, and i lost my deposit to Shiply. you have not contact me yet on my deposit i sent to you.

My transport provider’s van broke down so the job had to be cancelled. The Shiply customer service phone was not operating, so I had to email them. They then credited my account with the lost deposit instead of refunding it, so I have effectively lost my deposit to Shiply as I no longer want to book through them, because new quotes were far too expensive for me to afford. Still hoping to receive my deposit refund. The lack of customer phone line has been really disappointing.

Mixed feelings on using this site I did eventually get my item delivered after agreeing to one of the cheaper quotes couriers communication was very poor and took a considerable time to be collected What was confusing was the initial cheaper quotes coming in and then all of withdrawing the cheaper offers

Shiply is a broker of broker service. That means if anything happens, like it did for my shipment, there are now two companies you need to try to reach out to for help. I had a 5pm pickup, I had reached out to the independent driver several times that day to see when they would be there. At 4pm I finally heard from them that they would not be picking up the item and that I should make other arrangements. Now I had to try to get a response from the broker. When that didn’t happen, I tried to reach shiply. They replied a couple of days later, saying they would text the broker. Not helpful. I would not recommend this service. The broker eventually found another driver for the pickup. That driver shipped the side-by-side on an open floor car trailer so the wheels were hanging off the tracks and it was a big chore getting it off.

A way to reach a number of delivery companies, but leaching their lifeblood with extortionate fees given they then just hand you over and offer absolutely no responsibility for the job (unlike Anyvan). The deposit is all fees and does nothing to bind the delivery company in or see any benefit. It turned out that in the latest delivery nearly 25% of the job cost was taken by a company providing a website!! Not exactly socially responsible in these difficult times...

Shiply ofrece un servicio útil pero parece ser otra de eses plataformas internet que viven integramente del trabajo ajeno y demuestran un comportamiento fiscal más que dudoso. No emiten facturas de los servicios que cobran y los depósitos que retienen cuando se reserva un transporte son integramente su comisión de servicio por la cual tampoco emiten factura. Algo a tener en cuenta si eres empresa.

Good concept, bad delivery companies (especially xpert deliveries) who take 3 weeks to deliver an important item that I required for sept 10th. didnt arrive till 4 days later. Their sloppyness unfortunatley affects you as a company by association.

Total rip off thought it would be a deal UPS beat by hundreds in same state 6 hours away I would deliver for what they are asking!!

I paid £230 for a mobility scooter which I needed moving from a local town to my home - a distance of 7 miles. I successfully got the price down to £45 and accepted that price BUT when I accepted it, I found I had to pay Shiply £11 as well as pay the provider £45. This is disgusting and it is not clear anywhere on their details that such an excessive charge will apply.

What a mess! Collection 3hrs late, finally left at 10.45pm. Delivery on promised day had 1 significant item missing. Had to be traced at the warehouse. New delivery promised for 2days later. Van arrived on time but item not on the van! Third delivery another 2 days later, item finally delivered. We had to be available at home on 3 separate days due to carelessness and inefficiency of this company. We booked with GOOD FELLAS. Not realising that they subcontract and we didn’t have the opportunity of checking up on PROOVIA who actually collect and deliver. Vans very full, no protection of items provided, so make sure you wrap and protect as scratching almost inevitable.

Trying to get a deposit refund when a courier fails to do a job is very annoying, they don’t simply pay you the money back they relist the job and tell you they will give you a credit! If I wanted it relisting I would have done it myself and if I asked for my money back don’t tell me I am having a credit! Treat your customers fairly and try answering your phone or at least show some numbers to contact you. Poor customer service.

Although I like your initiative and quick service that connects two extremes, but you do a very little check on your operators, nothing is held on them, no DBS nor insurance. The operators can do whatever they like with the customers. I have had 2 consecutive bad experiences where my items would be stolen by your operative and your support said there is nothing they can do about it. It will be nicer if you could work on securing the delivery item by holding operators more responsible.

I was asked by Shiply.com to rate for the Shiply service and the service of the transportation company I hired to haul my vehicle across Canada long before the shipping started. When I did not respond because I had nothing to rate before service started, an email came saying that it means I am fully satisfied with the services and a 5-star rating would be given as default. I think it is cheating. I hope that Shiply can hold the survey until after the business is done to more accurately reflect what clients really experienced. Also, most companies providing quotes to bid the business are using nick names. This made it difficult for clients to get details about the companies of interest as well as their online reviews. Hope Shiply can improve this.
