Way too expensive, you can buy a brand new car for their price. And the design they offer was very basic and cannot be customized. Their quote was £45000 for 5 bedrooms wardrobe.

Booked an appointment for a designer to attend and provide quote and design for a fitted wardrobe in a new build property. He duly turned up, but after waiting two weeks with no further communication I went with another supplier. Poor customer service.

I had Sharps come around for a quote, and they were very pleased to explain on the day that the design would be no problem. One half of my wall went a little deeper than the rest of the wall, but they explained that would be no problem. We agreed one length could be 60cm and another length up to 70cm deep and he was keen to get a quote back to me quickly to try and meet my deadline. Unfortunately I received a note saying that my on my wall it wasn't possible to install wardrobes, as the wardrobes would need to be deeper. Instead of asking me if that was ok (which it would be), they simply said that my wall was one of the 15% of walls they can't install within. I received quotes from a range of others who have explained it's absolutely no problem. I've never had such a bad quotation experience, and would not recommend getting a quote from them. This was also after the first appointment I booked didn't turn up.

I’m giving Sharps 1 star because I can’t give them zero. This review is therefore over inflated from the beginning, much like their sales pitch. Our nightmare started on a Saturday in February when an over-exuberant and overly-friendly salesman turned up (we should have smelt a rat then). He measured for wardrobes in 2 rooms and quoted £12k, before miraculously bringing down the cost to just over £6k. I have since read up on this and this is commonly known as the ‘insult price’ (before a slightly reduced ‘insult price’ is offered). The salesman assured us that Sharps were the finest in the business, their quality second to none and sold it as some kind of utopian experience (2nd rat failed to be smelt). We foolishly decided to go ahead….. The materials were delivered and I couldn’t help but to notice that the utopian quality wasn’t quite as described and it was standard chipboard quality (much as you would get anywhere in a standard DIY store). Furthermore, the materials were dumped in the rooms, leaving marks over the walls. Not a great start. The installer turned up on a Wednesday in Late March and was going to be finished by the Friday (it was initially a 2 day job which turned into a 3 day). Giving as much care as a ‘Bull in a china shop’, the installer caused damage to walls in BOTH rooms. We could forgive a bit of damage/marks to the wall but the level of ‘demolition’ this man caused was, quite frankly a joke! Needless to say that by the Friday he still hadn’t finished and had to come back Monday. Monday came and ‘the installer’ started work. Within 2 hours he left feeling unwell (not at all his fault but he shouldn’t have come at all given that he said he was unwell overnight). A call into their Head office followed with an unhelpful remark that the installation couldn’t be finished by anyone other than ‘Demolition Man’ (as he had become known). We have a small house so imagine my disappointment in being told this with the majority of the upstairs in absolute and total chaos. 3 days went by before Sharps finally (and miraculously, because my stress and temper levels were significant rising) found another installer who arrived on the Thursday and finally finished off the installation (albeit almost a week late). We have since had to arrange a Painter and Decorator to quote a repair to the walls ‘Demolition Man’ caused and this has finally been accepted by Sharps that they would foot the bill (after initially offering a pittance of £88 as a goodwill gesture - I think not!) Sadly, their level of care for your property and their sense of urgency to finish the job on time is not matched by their eagerness to get your money; they are very good at that. Don’t be fooled by their utopian advertising. Sharps are not a dream, they are a nightmare. Please avoid at all costs and don’t get sucked in, as we sadly were.

To whom it may concern We were expecting punctuality , gold quality Instulation and delivery & good customer service ( as shown on the website)but the experience isn’t that as it’s what’s Sharps bedroom thinks it’s alright as appointments are always to their customs regardless the time available for it’s customers with rubbish customer service as the fitters arrives to their own schedule not the customers. We placed an order on November 2021 and until today Mid April 2022 the job hasn’t been finished and the wooden borders are all over our house and we can’t move around.. it’s the worst experience we’ve ever had with a Furnitur company.. we thought the prices we paid which sharp’s company requires a big deposits in advance & a full payment before sending the delivery of each room will give us a good service and quality but we are really disappointed.. we want a refund and our money back for the second room but they won’t accept this and our money are stocked .. I won’t advice and recommend Sharp bedroom to anyone even if they are 50% or 60 present discount as they are advertising now on there products as the service you will get is rubbish and expecting a nightmare.

Time wasters. Discount is just advertising. They can’t give a quote in 2 months. The designers wants the customer to do design, they should first provide some design ideas. Communication very bad.

A waste of money. Was misled by the designer and the company basically told me tough luck. Should have just bought something from IKEA. I wish I checked this site before I wasted nearly £2000

We've had a very bad experience with Sharps. The first fitter was very bad and left the two wardrobes unfinished with a panel bowed, exposed end pieces, exposed wood on Pelmet, shelves cut incorrectly, lights in the wrong place, doors not adjusted and very poor scribing. The second fitter resolved the issues over the course of a long day but noticed some hinges had been damaged and ordered replacements. The replacements arrived but were completely wrong (Sharps CS attempted to blame that part on me), so the third fitter had to be called off. The job was originally supposed to take 3 days, its been 3 weeks and still not finished. The customer services team have been poor and the general level of incompetence is shocking for a company like this. PLEASE research alternative and smaller local companies as they seem to try harder!

Had an appointment - no 'person' turned up I had to ring and chase and chase where the 'person' was, to then get a call an hour later to say some 'person' will be with me in about 45 minutes - shocking customer service, wasted my entire day waiting in...3rd world problems I know but just ring people let them, know what's going on.

Really unhappy as I thought Sharps would be a better service. The sales guy didn’t do anything I wanted said I need to change it all. Then he wouldn’t leave my house until he got a sale. It put me off using sharps so I went with someone who listened to me and wasn’t pushy!

I ended up with cheap looking and tacky wardrobes. Poor value for money and the entire experience felt like a cash grabbing operation. I am already seeking to have them removed. I advise you to seek better quality wardrobes elsewhere. A regretful and disappointing experience with this company.

Sharing this so you can all avoid the upset, distress and utter disappointment of being ripped off. This is the finished walk in wardrobe installed by SHARPS BEDROOMS. Today was the final fit after 2 weeks of faulty doors, lights, shoe racks, you name it. Money taken before completion and this is what we got! Substandard, unfinished, poor fitting and everything left filthy dirty. Let the battle commence! Avoid! Don’t waste your money. Get this put right Sharps! Call yourselves a premium brand! Unacceptable all all fronts!!

I ordered my wardrobes back in October and have waited 4 months for fitting. Delivery of my goods was Monday so I booked the day off work, the delivery didn’t arrive so they rescheduled for Tuesday. I am then suppose to have my wardrobes fitted today, got up at 6am, got my daughter out of bed cleared all my daughters room moved her bed out and the fitter has messaged me 30 minutes before arriving saying he’s not coming as he is ill. I know people are ill but everything has been last minute. I have had x2 days off work to be let down on both occasions yet they have had 5 months. I will not use this company again and I will not recommend them to anybody. £1500 for wardrobes and the service has been shocking

Awful. Designer couldn’t be bothered clearly. Had already decided we couldn’t afford the service. Kept asking if we “have any idea how much it will cost” and pushing us to choose a cheaper option. He was rude. Arrogant. Questioning our every decision. When we tried telling him our needs, he kept trying to tell us we “don’t really need that” and was an absolute idiot to be honest. It’s sad because we were so looking forward to having a creative designer with us and he wasn’t at all creative or interested in listening. We came up with a design ourselves and then he simply wrote a long list of numbers with no relevance or indication as to what they were in relation to, ending with a 4 digit figure over £6k and then kept saying “oh I forgot something” and write down another number or two to add on. At this point I’d like to say we could more than afford to go ahead, but honestly had no idea what we were paying for, and the end number was really over inflated, though we may have not thought so if he’d told us what we were actually paying for. Note they only build you a skeleton, there is no back to wardrobes. The wall is the back. So for such a basic set up with no service, creativity and very very basic finishes of MDF you’d expect some itemisation at least with a little idea of what you’re paying for… overall an absolute horrible experience with a company that profiles you before even talking to you. Oh and to top it off, he said “you won’t need long hanging rails, hopefully your son won’t be into dresses fingers crossed” - he was talking to a same sex couple, and knew it. Shame on you sharps, hiring bigots.

Appaling service, product not at all worth the price, we were given wrong parts and bits were damaged. The worst of all is their customer service - so bad and just don't answer any questions or take accountability. Would never reccommend to anyone. Could get much better quality for far cheaper elsewhere.
